春日部市と聞いてイメージするのは正直「クレヨンしんちゃん」ぐらいしかないなぁ、と思っていたらあるのですよ、資料館内に「クレヨンしんちゃん」のコーナーが（笑）。ある意味、春日部一の有名人ですからね。
平成16年に「野原しんのすけ」で住民登録されており、立派な春日部市民だったのは初めて知りました。また資料館には野原家が春日部市を紹介するパンフレットが置いてあったのですが、しんちゃんから春日部市の名所を聞かれた両親のヒロシとミサエは答えに詰まってしまい、最後に「な何にもねぇ～！！」と叫ぶ自虐的なシーンは、資料館の中にもかかわらず、つい吹き出してしまいました。
いえいえ有りますよ、もちろん（笑）。春日部（当時は粕壁）は日光街道の宿場町として古くから栄えた場所ですから。その粕壁宿の全体像を200分の１スケールで再現したジオラマの出来が秀逸で、当時の賑わいが伝わってきそうです。
個人的には現在の同一地点を同一スケールで再現すると、宿場町が今はどう変化したかが分かって面白いと思うのですが。ついでに言うとスケールを国際スケールの144分の１にしてくれると、ガンダムと同じなので比較しやすいし、なんなら並べて遊ぶ事も出来ます（笑）。
