Undoubtedly one of the best choice to dine out in Lahore. I ordered honey chicken, beef 🌶️ dry and chicken fried rice and all exceeded expectations. Ambiance is soothing, staff is courteous and friendly. Highly recommended.

I tried their chef's Special Hot Pot for the first time with Peanut butter broth served with a bunch of vegetables and beef tenderloin strips. Believe me it's a new unique experience and i really enjoyed it. A good choice for sea food thai food and diet food lovers.. the staff was very cooperative professional and specially the manager was kind and humble

You can never go wrong with mandarin and sumo! One of the finest Far Eastern food in town. Recently tried their hi tea. Turned out to be really good. Loved the soup and tempura prawns. Limited seating capacity with lovely ambiance and excellent service

Review: Mandarin Kitchen Date of Visit: 10/03/2022 Great tasting food. All dishes were very nice. I enjoyed the Mongolian Beef the most and the chilled mint drink (forgotten the name) was refreshing. In terms of price, it's not cheap and you'll spend a lot more than McDonald's. Service could have been a bit better - prawn crackers should be served with the soup. They came afterwards. The atmosphere is pleasant too. Overall, a great place to eat out if you are willing to spend the money.

Food quality is not good. Hot and sour soup is just a plain sour gravy. Missing all ingredients hot and hour soup should have. Honey wings are covered in some strange sweet sauce which is not sugar nor honey for sure The servers are clueless about dishes. We asked with a particular seafood gravy would have vegetables, he said yes yet the fish was just plain garlic gravy with shrimps. For the prices they charge now, the quality is no where near it should be. .

The atmosphere was good. The location of this food point reflects like you're in Dubai. Food was good as well. We enjoyed Prawns and that was fantastic like tea. Love this memory ❣️ Cheers.

Good food, lovely setting but the experience maker is the outstanding customer service. Being part of tphe service industry and having a fair share of providing and receiving customer service, I can vouch this place is a top drawer. Ordered fried calamari (good taste, small portion size but can excuse that cos of it being an appetiser), Mandarin Nest (top quality taste and good portion size) and Thai Crispy Beef (good but more spicy than expected) which was changed when feedback was asked by the staff to TSO's Chicken (really good!). As for the pricing, it's pretty much your average Chinese/Thai/Pan Asian spot in KHI or LHE (the whole model doesn't sit well with me for various reasons) but if you'd put a gun on my head to choose one, I'd be going again just for the customer experience!

Overall Good food. Good quantity. Good Sitting too but ! BuTttt ! The noise from all the people and their kids just ruined the whole ambiance. A Restaurant is supposed to be a Quiet place where you enjoy chit chat with friends or colleagues with some light music in the background. But i couldn’t find that. Overall good food vise. Wont blame the restaraunt for all that noise but i think people should educate themselves and their kids how to properly go and sit according to the place.

Good place for families and friends. Sitting is good. You can see the kitchen and chefs cooking. Everything was neat and clean. Taste is also good. But a bit on expensive side if you compare with quantity. But since they had 40% off on specific bank card so it didn't matter. Food was very light and refreshing.

Food is so so if we compare with its fame. Ordinary food taste. Some dish names are deceived like claypot chicken & shanghai chicken. Service is very slow. Order accuracy is very poor. Price is not justified. All dishes which we ordered were same taste. Just put some vegetables with different cutting. Not recommended at all

Didn't really live up to the hype. A disappointing experience. The food was average at best. Soup was decent (mandarin soup typically known as 19B in other restaurants). The Mongolian beef was Definitely not Mongolian Beef. Too much curry and too many other vegetables. Beef was tender so that was good. 6/10 for me. Crispy honey chicken was better than the beef. Still a bit too sweet for me. 8/10 Egg fried Rice were like every other main stream restaurant. Ordered kimchi fries for the little one. Overly salty and the kimchi sauce was very very salty. Noodles were ok. Nothing extraordinary The service was beyond bad. 5 tables and the staff for overwhelmed. Got room temperature water after at least 5 requests.. they couldn't even get the cutlery placed in one go. Really really disappointing experience. With the top notch options available at the same price, mandarin has very low rating for. Probably wouldn't go back again. Overall experience 5/10.

An excellent restaurant A very detailed menu with a huge variety to choose from. Mandarin soup is a must try. Rich thick and full of flavor. American chopsuey was upto the mark, proper crispy noodles with a well balanced gravy on top Kung pao chicken was amazing. Juicy chicken cooked to perfection. Rice were normal Complimentary desserts were an added advantage.

Outdoor dining is available but not that great choice of options. Also it is not that old Chinese cuisine fusion with Pakistani Chinese. I guess people go to Chinese for the Pakistani style Chinese with lot of sweet n sour options with some gravy flowing dishes. I didn’t like it much. Even their hot n sour soup is their own way. Better options available in town for this cuisine. Little pricey too.. car dining was slow service

Great ambiance. Food is good. Salad dressing is extremely spicy. Food was tasty. Calamari was superb with the generous smothering of house sauce, crispy yet sauced. California style Chinese food if you like the California fusion. Hi tea is nice as well. Appetizers, bites, Chinese dishes, soups and lots more. Definitely worth going in.

I would rate this place better than YUM as their food and variety is very unique and diverse.

Food was good overall. Quantity of 2 gravy dishes was just adequate for single serving for 5. Service was slow with a small mistake in the order. The staff was courteous though. Recommended

I am absolutely shocked at the attitude toward potential paying customers. I have never met such a rude and obnoxious entitled welcome manager in my life. We wanted to enquire if the wait was long and was met with such an abhorrent response without making eye contact i was left speechless. The staff need training in manners and general pleasantness. Suffice to say i will never be visiting this establishment again and my advice is if you want to be treated with respect or ettiquette then stay well away from here

“I regret to say that my experience at this restaurant was not good. After having their food, especially the soup, I fell ill. The ambiance was okay, but it was a bit too loud for my liking.”

  • 5/5 Daniyal A. 6 months ago on Google
Food is excellent. One of the best! Serving quantities are quite less. As per the staff, one dish if for example is claimed to be sufficient for 4 persons, is hardly enough for 2 persons. They should work on serving sizes, making their food fully worth of the prices they charge. Otherwise, food, service and ambiance, all is wonderful

Went to Mandarian kitchen with friends but the overall experience was very average The dumpling was okish and the sauce did not compliment it well for the taste 5/10 Apart from that we ordered the Manchurian and rice the Manchurian tasted like if it was made at a local dhaba very very average 4/10 Maybe the selection of items were not right because I have had good experience before but this time it was very very average Till next time happy eating

Pathetic food I don’t know why this restaurant is even having rush of people. Ordered fish which had smell. Prawns which had crumbs all over and had no prawns in it. I would highly suggest people to avoid this restaurant. There are far better options in Lahore to explore and this is not one of them.

I requested for reservation via call for 8:30 - 9:00 pm today and I was told fully booked. Requested branch manager as well but declined and put in waiting. Alternatively I made reservation at PF Chang. While going to PF Chang, stoped at mandarins kitchen and the whole ground floor was empty and we were nicely accommodated. What is this?? Artificial hype to show busy you are?? Shame on branch manager

It's a good place to dine out but it's variety is becoming too monotonous and at times of less quality as well. I guess next time instead of taking buffet I will try ala cart to see if they have really fine down in quality of food its just the buffet which seems to have lost its charm because of lowering quality of food. Till then chill out. Cheers

Enjoyed the Mandarin soup and dragon noodles… rest of the food is average Chinese food. Small place, dim lighting and a bit noisy. Still an OK experience

Went again to this place with a plan to try only things we have not already done so. BUT the soup had to be their special mandarin soup coz that is what the manager said is the best. With that came along the spicy chicken dumplings., really enjoyed them. The dumplings were really spicy just as we requested but were served with cooked soya sauce with some secret vegie additives which completely changed its essence and influence on the dumplings, it was as if the spices were not only neutralized with it but was not made sour, so people who do not like it spicy can always dip in it and just have the slightest of the sour after. Good try. Next in was the Chicken Kon kon, nice flavor and something different. then it was the crispy dry beef which was cooked to perfection, had only the taste of beef to savor upon with fried ginger added for flavor. Mr. Sajjad the manager guided us to try the dishes and suggested us to try the korean food next time. EDIT: Went the next day for lunch to try the korean dishes, tried their Korean Buldak in chicken and Korean beef bulgogi, both dishes were served with sticky rice and it was a nice try. Recommended dishes

Firstly the utensils were unclean and had chipped off edges. My order was: Hot and sour soup Vegetable rice and Chicken cashew nut The soup was more of broth than vegetables and chicken. Chicken cashew nut had roughly 6, 7 nuts in it Chicken was overcooked, hard to chew. Quantity was too less. The waiters have no serving manners nor did they ask for water or drinks. I suppose they know their taste isn't that good hence none asked us if we liked the food. The staff is constantly roaming around, in and out of the restaurant. They're too noisy. When it comes to ambiance, the lights too dim while the music too loud. Never visiting again.

The food is very good most of the time but somehow this time around we were very dissappintrd since it did not taste like it used to. Plus the staff really really lacks managing skills they are too disorganized and at times it seems like chaos plus the service itself it very very slow. We had to wait for half and hour to pay the bill and had to remind them to get us our food which was packed for us twice even after that they forgot to place our soup and we had to check and tell them again that the soup is missing. I will give it 7 out of 10 for food but as for service/staff I give it a big fat 0 out of 10. Sorry

Went for a hi-tea and everything was great. The food tasted amazing and there wasn't a single dish that didn't taste good enough or lacked flavour. The management was a little slow but overall it was an excellent experience.
