Well I really don't wanted to write a negative review but I'm writing it with heavy heart, a few days back I visited Yum Chinese & Thai DHA Z block Outlet it was worst ever experience of dining here We used to visit their Gulburg Branch so often even on weekly basis but due to too much people in waiting we decided to switch to DHA Branch but it was Worst ever decision we ever made as we order our favourite Honey wings, Hot & Sour Soup, Sweet & Sour Prawns, Magnolian Chicken, Egg Fried Rice etc but we were very disappointed by the food Quality especially Prawns they served old or expired Prawns with lot of smell in them, Our dinner and night was ruined by them, Poor Food Quality! If anyone wants to enjoy Chinese food just visit Gulburg Branch, I'll never even visit DHA Branch again! Not Recommended 👎👎👎

Yum is consistently a good experience! It went for my fathers birthday and just about everything we ordered was great. The food was provided in record time and we were in and out within an hour. I highly recommend their Yum Special soup and batter fried prawns. 9/10 for both Tip: They are kind enough to provide complimentary mint margaritas if you request it so be sure to do that! The overall decor, atmosphere/ambiance and music choice is pretty good too. If I have anything to complain about, it’s that the tables are far too small to accommodate family sized services and it’s a very claustrophobic and cramped experience eating sitting at a table for four.

One of the best Chinese cuisine in Lahore. Food was great especially the fish, it was really fresh. You should also try their fried rice as well.

Nice place to have chines and Thai food. I went there with my chines friend and he liked the food. It was my first experience and it was amazing. We tried beef chilli dry, Noodles and honey wings. Atmosphere was amazing and the service was quick. Recommended.

The Best Chinese in Pakistan! I have eaten Chinese in many countries because I love Chinese and this is the best you can get. Its very expensive as compare to other chinese cuisine places but no one beats their quality and taste. A must try atleast once! My favorites that I always order: Hot n sour soup (cracker are awesome) Chicken with cashewnuts (thai) Egg fried rice They have something similar to PF Chang's dynamite prawns and its super delicious too (I think rock shrimps). In beef section I love thier Asian beef chilli but last time the taste wasn't the same (it was just ok). Needs improvement: Complimentary Mint drink glasses were served half empty. That too after we've asked for it. If it is complimentary why is it on demand?

Such a good place for Chinese. Their serving size is good. Taste and freshness of food is also on point. The ambiance is 8/10 and service 10/10. Had their Szechuan chicken and beef chilli dry and both were great! Their rice serving is good for 3. Will definitely visit again!

Not a good experience at all after re-visiting YUM! after 4 years. Complained about Mint M. But it wasn’t taken well by the management they said it was alright. It was not! It was just sweet and felt a mint taste. The Manchurian was just ketchup and too sweet. Fish crackers were not fresh. However, the Yum special soup was top notch 10/10.

On our 1 week visit to Lahore, we knew we couldn't miss having some good quality Pakistani-style Chinese food and that's how we ended up at Yum. Least to say, every item we ordered from the menu was ridiculously delicious (we ordered a bit much as we were happy to take leftovers home to have the next day). So here's a breakdown of what we had - Yum Special Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Chef's Recommended Soup (basically Tom Yum Soup),Chicken Drumsticks, Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Chowmein, Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Szechuan style), Beef with Chillies & Onion. Special note- On the menu, the price of the soups depicts family size servings. We were told we can order half serving of each soup so that's what we did. Same goes for Chicken Drumsticks - the serving on the menu is for 6 Drumsticks, and we can order half from that serving. P.S. - the soup pics were taken after we started having it, hence the serving bowl looks messy. The food arrived piping hot. Soups were served with the all-necessary fish crackers which kept coming while we indulged in Soup heaven. So the service was great. Ambience is nice too. The only issue we experienced was that it was tad bit too cold inside the restaurant; had to keep our jackets on. When we asked them to turn on the heating, we were told heating is on already, but apparently, the heaters are placed around the entrance/waiting foyer. So we didn't get any warmth from it, except from our food, to be honest. Apart from that, we loved everything about Yum, and it definitely lives up to its name!

Zero star rating hoti tou woh deta mein. Came here for our anniversary dinner food was bland to the core tasteless prawns and the gravy which they told us was spicy was just mild. Chicken is chewy. Called the waiter and he acted as busy as he could get. Extremely overpriced food. Even a dhaba fried rice tastes better than this. Never coming back here.

They have two separate restaurants at one place, China Town that provides Chinese and Thai food and Jade that is Italian / Continental. We went to the Chinese part. The ambiance and decor is reasonably good though we found the space a bit cramped. Cooking standard is ok but I wouldn't say that it's something that would pull me back for another visit. The waiters like to serve you instead of placing the order on the table. That's very nice but for this, the waiters have to be properly trained. A half trained waiter can't handle this method of serving, wouldn't understand what you want and ultimately becomes a source of irritation instead of being a facilitator. I guess they would have been better off just placing the food on the table. Prices are reasonable and it would cost you Rs 900/- to 1500/- per person.

Yum Chinese and Thai is probably the best Chinese restaurant in town that consistently provides great taste and service. They have an extensive menu of Chinese and Thai dishes. The ambiance is quiet good too. It’s best if you reserve a table before visiting. The restaurant is child friendly.

Friendly, and family friendly, Asian restaurant with Chinese and Thai cuisine. Quality of food is average (Thai) to below average (Chinese). Service is way below average. I ordered a salad for which the waiter took 30 min to return to the table to inform me that the salad is not available. So I chose another salad and asked if they have this one and he gave me a positive answer. 20 minutes later he showed up at the table to inform me that this salad also is t available. Thank you, no more.

This is the most popular Chinese/Thai food restaurant in Lahore. There is always a crowd of people waiting for a table, particularly on weekends so be ready for a long wait. If you want to order desert or coffee after your meal, they are reluctant to serve and ask you to visit their other facility called The English Teahouse located behind the restaurant. The prices are on the high side also. The ambiance at the back of this restaurant is beautiful overlooking the garden, so ask fo it if you want to enjoy the view, otherwise you get seated in a dark closed room with a bunch of noisy people.

I had chinese once in this place, heard a lot about it but after having lunch i grade it as average food. Ambiance is good , service is fine but food was not as i heard. The crackers were too much oily and shrimp rice were having smell and not fresh. Chilli Chicken was full chillies and authentic chinese taste was missing.

Yum Chinese and Thai is one of the best restaurant in lahore. Only two things are rating low one is their phone call center service which takes 20 minutes average. And another is their sitting in backside Hall.
