PAOLA’S by Cosa Nostra The lady who started it all…. Paola, the Italian Grandmother, her legacy is now being carried by her daughter and the granddaughter. Location is same as old Cosa Nostra in Gulberg but relaunched under new name, decor, and menu. For starters we ordered Popcorn Chicken Tacos, Barbecue and Blackcurrant chicken wings with sour cream, Blackened Steak Salad, and Pagnotta bread. The Pagnotta Bread is so soft and it feels like a could holding it and it’s loaded with olive oil and Italian herbs. The popcorn chicken tacos are a must try and shouldn’t be missed. Though Cosa Nostra is known for its Caesar salad but this new Blackened Steak Salad is my new favorite there. Peppered Steak Strips, Button Mushrooms, Greens, Angel Hair Potatoes with Honey Balsamic dressing… Wah. For the main course we ordered their Smash Beef Burger, Cacio e Pepe (Italian Artisan Spaghetti from the Parmesan Wheel with Parmesan and Black Pepper), Bufalina Pizza, Sunday Beef Roast Platter, and Pepperoni Pizza. I would rate their new Brickboven pizza among the best in town for sure.… perfectly burnt crunchy crust with perfect marinara sauce and cheese. Let’s bed both Bufalina and Pepperoni Pizza. However, their smash burger had a little high content of salt even tough I loved their soft bun. Their morning Beef Roast is one dish that I would go to have any given day. Roast Beef Tenderloin, Mashed Potatoes, Onion Gravy, Yorkshire Pudding, and Chili Garlic French Beans. This is one classic English dish and is a must must try. Cacio e Pepe Pasta may be a little bland for local taste but it’s tossed in Parmesan Cheese barrel with some salt and black pepper. Lastly the MEETHA…. Stop everything and go and have their Vanilla Cloud Cake…. So soft and moist and juicy perfectly balanced meetha. I’ve not had this good of a vanilla cake in a long long time. Though we also had their carrot cake, and blue berry cheese cake but this takes the lead. Was lucky to get their last slice that day. Though I visited Cosa Nostra after ages but it brought back so many good memories I’ve had at this place over a decade ago. A must Revisit place. #HappyEating #Paolas #CosaNostra #FoodiesRUs — at Cosa nostra.

Visited paola for lunch. Had a great time at the restaurant due to the quality of food. Quality was exceptional. The restaurant has a brilliant ambiance that suits perfectly with the food available on menu. Since it is a high end restaurant with an expensive menu, I was disappointed to see that they didn’t offer any complimentary starters.

Loved the ambiance of the place. Their staff was well versed with dishes and courteous. Tried their Tscon Mushrooms in starters, loved it. Also tried their buttermilk burger and philly cheese steak. Buttermilk burger was the better of the two. Their vanilla cake was definitely worth another try.

An excellent fine dine experience. Dim lights and cozy vibes. Food is always a delight to have. A place that satisfies your “comfort food” temptations. Not many options for spicy food lovers. Recommendation: Sunday roast Italian pizza Fish and chips Paolas smash burger Ceaser salad And their always great gelatos!

It was great experience to visit and dine in @CosaNostra I went there 1st time although the Environment wasn't very pleasant there coz of Covid SOPs as Govt banned indoor dinning and most of the cafes and Restaurants removed the window glass and switched off air conditioning systems in a result you might face humidity but its acceptable due to Covid_19 Protocols but when we talk about their Food Quality its really very delicious, prices are bit higher but I like all the food which we ordered and will visit them again! Recommended 👍

Indoor sitting is bit congested but overall experience was nice i was expecting a little more but it was nice and service was satisfactory because if there’s no crowd anyone can serve you better but rush time is the challenge food was tasty overall but pasta was too dry it shouldn’t be because if you’re ordering creamy pasta which is chef’s special it must be up to the standard last but not the least desserts section was something I would definitely recommend

Are you craving a pizza that simulates a pizza-eating experience in Italy? Paola's Cosa Nostra is your place. The sun-dried tomatoes in pizzas actually taste like sun-dried tomatoes, a rare delight! Plus, the cheese is of top-notch quality, and the dough is impeccably baked. The burrata salad hits all the right notes with its perfect texture, creaminess, and just the right touch of sourness. If you're in search of a beverage menu that offers interesting options like lemongrass ginger spritzer, again, Paola's Cosa Nostra is your place. And if you want to enjoy your dinner in the right ambiance, where the lighting isn’t harsh but not so dark that you can’t see your food, well, you are at the right place. Plus candlelight adds a touch of sparkle to the dining experience. On the flip side, the gelato leaves a bit to be desired. And yes, don’t just walk in, you may not get a free table. Reserving a table in advance, even for two, is highly recommended. Also, dining here can be on the expensive side, with an estimated cost of 2500-3000 per person. Bon Appétit!

Though already a house hold name in Lahore; cosa nostra’s new menu is a great addition to the very limited authentic Italian food scene in Lahore. A good size menu with many items that are done just the way they should be. My all time favourites have to be their wheel pasta, pizza, the Sunday roast and the very amazing vanilla cloud cake. The appetisers are also not to be missed especially the wings.

There is no single place that is more consistent, authentic, and reliable than Cosa Nostra Gulberg. It is the benchmark for Lahore's take on Western/European Cuisine, and stands tall amongst most. Lahore has few reliable options for healthy meals. Cosa is one of the few places that deliver in this regard. From ordering a grilled-beef burger on wheat-buns (which are so incredibly soft that they take me back to my childhood Salt&Pepper days), to their vast array of sandwiches on whole-wheat bread which are always cooked/made based on your preferences (e.g., I always get mine without Mayo and sauces, and they have never not followed my instructions), to ordering a low-carb burger (on lettuce), Cosa shows that its varieties are not mere gimmicks, but a careful application of flavor preferences. Similarly, their pizzas are always made on brick-ovens (one of the first places in Lahore to do that I believe), which use Mozzarella Cheese and tomato sauce in moderation, are paper-thin, thereby making them super-crunchy, but most important of all, unlike any other restaurant in Lahore, they give you the choice of making the pizzas on wheat-bread/dough. Guilt-free pizzas were not a thing for me, but Cosa changed all that. Furthermore, their pastas/Italian dishes to me have the same authentic taste that I would experience at a quality Italian restaurant elsewhere. The key indicator is that the dishes are not drenched in oil, and the pastas are soft, with tasty tangy sauces, along with flavorful subtle toppings of different cheeses (e.g., parmesan cheese). Finally, while I am not an ice-crème connoisseur and don’t have ice cream often, it is well-established that they serve the only authentic Gelato/Ice-Cream in Lahore. Someone told me it has to do with the fact that they invested in imported machinery for their Gelato/Ice-Cream way back, something that no other brand has really done, and it pays dividends, because every ice-cream lover in Lahore attests to Cosa ice-cream being the best. My family takes full advantage of it every time. Going to cosa for ice-cream is an experience in itself for them. This review has been long over-due (10 years in the making). I hope they remain consistent, unlike their DHA Branch, which does not hold a candle to this branch.

I used to think Fogo de Chao, the Brazilian steakhouse has the best beef steaks in the world. But I was wrong! Paola's in Lahore is so much better! I tried their roman holiday buffet dinner experience and it blew me away. The pastas, the lamb, the steaks, the desserts, everything was out of this world. Never seen a buffet experience where every single thing, was prepared with such care, delicacy and love! There was not one single thing that I did not like. And based on the quality of food and service, I must say that PKR 7000 per head felt like a free deal. I wish I lived in Lahore so I could visit these guys at least every month!

Steak was good and well done. It was their signature steak. We also tried their tuna salad which was also decent. Ice cream was also good as we gave that a go for desert..ambiance of the place was good and it wasn't crowded. Vaccination card was checked at entrance.

After miscalculating the crowdedness of the nearby chosen restaurants on a certain festival, me and my companion decided to have dinner at Cosa Nostra. With a not so adequate seating arrangement that was cramped in the hallway due to renovation being done in their main building, we were provided with sitting in the farthest corner where they had placed kitchen utensils that required frequent visit by their staff. So on top of cramped sitting, we were throughout disturbed by the staff frequently coming to take out cutlery from the drawers placed in the customer's sitting space. The food ordered was totally tasteless and not even worth the high wait time. The stuffed chicken ordered was too hard to even cut with a knife. There was hardly any stuffing in it. What little there was, was hardly bringing out any flavor. On top of that, they presented it with sauteed vegetables that looked like they had come out of a frozen vegetables bag you can find at a local grocery store. The stuffed chicken was nearly impossible to eat. The lasagna on the other hand was average at best. The staff took 25 minutes to bring the food and then took another 2 minutes to deliver a spoon which needed to be brought from the drawer placed right next to where we were seated. It took an astonishing 10 or so minutes to bring the bill and when asked about a comment card to rate the bad experience that we just had, we had to wait a further 5 or so minute before we decided to leave and communicate the horrible experience through some other medium. In short, not worth visiting for continental dining!

Update: My second visit was just as disappointing, super average food and the staff is just ignorant and unresponsive. The only things I’d recommend is their Pepperoni pizza (that too we had to send back and have replaced as it came burnt initially) and the Funghi burger which was soft and juicy. They really need a better chef/menu. A makeover isn’t cutting it for me. If I’m being super honest, I feel as though Paola’s Cosa Nostra is kind of overhyped and overrated or it could be that I simply should have ordered something else. One thing is for sure tho, what you’re paying for is the ambiance, the place is beautiful ! The decor is very rustic and elegant at the same time. Instantly feels like you’re somewhere else, the music is quaint, seating is cozy, you can smell the fresh bread/pizza and we were able to be seated in a location that was especially well lit. The only thing that ruined the ambiance was the extreme about of noise from the other customers but there isn’t much anybody can do about that. Given the menu so so limited and not everything is available; I asked my server for recommendations. We ordered their 🍝 Ravioli: it was pretty standard ravioli but I think I’ve had much better ravioli at other places. It was tinted in this weird pink hue and tasted of sausages for some reason. The filling was just plain chicken mince and sauce was more or less non existent 😔 🍕 Ortolana Pizza: this was recommended to us and I’m not sure why because the dough was paper thin in the middle which meant the pizza was drooping everywhere; instead of a crispy crust holding everything in place. I saw the making it if it because they use this hard cheese in placed in wooden boxes instead of using fresh mozzarella, the cheese made very hard to eat and rubbery as soon as it cooled down a little. Moreover the marinara just tasted store-bought. There was not a single definite flavour profile to it and I was left pretty disappointed. The drinks were good tho, we had the Lemongrass Ginger Sprtizer and the Peach Iced Tea. I will revisit at least 2 more times to try other things and give them a fair shot but for now I’d say, this place is more about the ambiance than it is about the food.

Been to the private dining room for a few events. Really loved the vibe. Food & service was impeccable. Tried the chicken steak with mushroom sauce, the steamed vegetables ( this is very uncommon to find in Lahore so thank you ). Desserts were amazing, tried the ice cream with crunch and the tiramisu. Will definitely be going back ias soon as someone invites me for another event 😝 have not tried the main dining hall but planning to. The outdoor lights and tables looked very inviting. Perhaps I’ll try that next time.

it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening. The menu offered an enticing array of dishes, and each one we ordered surpassed our expectations. To start, the chicken mushroom soup was a flavorful introduction to the meal, with its rich and comforting taste. The sizzling chicken dish was an absolute highlight, perfectly cooked and served sizzling hot, tantalizing our taste buds with its savory flavors. Accompanying our meal was the refreshing peach iced tea, a perfect complement to the savory dishes. And finally, the Sunday roast was a symphony of flavors, a testament to the chef’s mastery in balancing textures and tastes. Also their clout cloud vanilla cake and ice cream was 👌🏻 Moreover, the service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing our overall dining experience. Paola’s attention to detail in both the food and service made it an evening that will remain etched in my memory. In conclusion, Paola’s truly excels in offering an exceptional dining experience. From the delectable cuisine to the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, it’s undoubtedly a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure. I cannot recommend Paola’s enough and eagerly anticipate my next visit to indulge in their culinary delights once again.

Indoor ambiance is really nice. Outdoor is nice but there's alot of noise from fans and kitchen exhaust. Staff isn't very courteous. Hygiene is okayish as outdoor tables weren't very clean and were rusty. Cutlery is old and overused. Food is okay; not fancy not very gourmet. From the food in pics, I loved the side veggies the most lol

Gelato was good (though nothing extraordinary), spaghetti was nice, but the one thing that had brought me back here (Mozarella sticks) were a huge let down. They were no longer the soft, addictive delights that I'd been dreaming of since I tried them a year ago. Gone is the taste and texture. Ended up leaving them, though none of the staff asked why. And the staff were clueless, it was as though all of them had just started their jobs on that day. Had to keep trying to get their attention, even though so many of them were hovering around. At the Gelato counter, the waiter seemed to be having a personal phone conversation that took priority, rather than the customer. When he (eventually) asked me whether I'd like two seperate cups and I said yes, the head waiter spoke up from behind and told him that can't be done, has to all go in one cup. Even upon entering, due to the slight name change I wasn't sure if I was at the right place so I asked the waiter (in Urdu) if this is Cosa Nostra. He said "let me get someone". He wasn't even aware of where he was working! A dissapointing experience overall.

The Paola's Cosa Nostra exudes a classic and elegant atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a refined dining experience. It's frequented by a sophisticated clientele. Their cakes are absolutely delicious, with a delightful blend of flavors that leave you craving for more. However, the tea could use some improvement; it didn't quite meet expectations. Overall, a charming spot for indulging in delectable desserts, but perhaps stick to other beverage options.

The ambiance is amazing, so is the food. The staff is well informed about the menu and the dishes. Tried their fried burrata and gambas al ajillo in starters. The latter was very delicious, the burrata wasn’t as good though. The main that we ordered, mezzelune was too bland, fruitti della terra pizza was okay, but the Sunday roast and chicken on the sizzler were both remarkable. All and all, it was a good experience.

ROMAN HOLIDAY by Paola Cosa Nostra Now this is something I can go for every weekend... Why coz it only served on weekends by Paola. Roman Holiday is a new buffet that has been launched by Paola and what an amazing experience it is. What is this about??? Well... it's all you ever wanted and a lot more, the very first Italian Buffet. No its not those creamy pastas but the experience you may have in Italy. The buffet is served on their first floor where seating is under 50 and is divided in four sections. - Antipasti (a mix of cold starters) - Al Forno (Freshly baked Breads) - Primi (A station for freshly hand rolled pastas) - Secondi (A section of meats along with housemade sauces and sides) and lastly Dolci which means desserts that are served on the table for you. If you are like me then I would not get enough of Antipasti and the Secondi stations... loved their starters which had Ratatouille Tart, Garlic & Lemon Marinated Mushrooms, Mixed Tomato Confit, Caprese Salad, Quinoa and Grilled Corn Rocket, Grilled Peach Salad and a lot more. Al Forno is the bread station which houses Focaccia, Grissini, and Pagnotta and they all go well with their main course meals. Primi the pasta Station... well you can get your own pasta noddles rolled and cooked right in front of you. I tried all 4 but loved the Charcoal Spaghetti, Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca, and Pansotti with chicken, Ricotta, and lemon Parmesan. The SECONDI station had me going back again and again for the variety of Australian Tomahawk Steaks, Ribeye, T Bone, and Smoked Tenderloin along with Slow Cooked Lamb and Rotisserie Chicken for the weak hearted. Loved how each and every item is cooked in front of you and served fresh along with some amazing sides of Maple roasted carrots, Sauteed Corns, Charred Cauliflower with Spicy Peppers and Picada sauce, Green Beans and Creamed Garlic spinach to create an order between the meat and the veggies. Lastly the Dolci and the Pastries ... they are served on the table as per your choice. Panna Cotta, Molten Chocolate cake, Raspberry Trifle, and Dark Chocolate Torte. All I can say at the end is PHEW.... take your appetite along folks as its never ending food... not the usual buffet with 50 items but the items that one can repeat. A bit pricey at Rs 6800 + Tax but hey its a steak buffet. A MUST try for those who like this kind of food as I surely be going back there again soon but do not forget to book ahead as they have limited seats and sell out pretty fast. #HappyEating #Paola #RomanHoliday #FoodiesRUs — at Cosa Nostra

👍👍 I love to savour food more than my girlfriend. The taste is consistent for the last 7 years. Pulao kebab is the best seller in this restaurant. Also must try its margarita.

👍👍 Monal is always among top of my favorites. Everytime the experience gets bettet. Thier welcome drink is a gesture which worth a word as even better restaurants than Monal are not offering welcome drinks, some do the crackers though. Food is always finger licking, Atmosphere is way better than Indigo...
