East Chinese and Thai is back with a bang. Certainly one of the most economical and impressively exquisite pan Asian dinner buffet in lahore Hosted a dinner for family recently and Allahumdulilah we all enjoyed it very much. Loved 🥰 each and every dish. The service was pretty good as well.

I tried this restaurant few years back and I really liked their food. For some reason they closed down, they've reopened recently and I was excited to try it again. In their hi-tea buffet they have limited items but most of them were really good. I really liked their beef oyster, chicken cashew nut, Moroccan chilli chicken, kung pao chicken, tarragon grilled fish and finger fish. But I wasn't impressed with their buffalo wings and Alfredo pasta. Egg fried rice and chicken manchurian we okay. And they seriously need to add better items in their sweets. Service was good, employees were friendly. So overall it was good experience.

Services are up to the mark and food quality is good. Ambience is okay as well.

Edited 10.05.2022 Bad service. First of all congested seating, a table of 4 provided for 5 people. Buffalo wings have blood inside. Complained but still not removed. 🤮 I have attached pics here. All cheap menu items. Lousy music played to disturb the customers and quicken table turnover. Handwash absent in toilet 😡 Service is not at all at par with prices. Don't go there. Not recommended at all. Previous Review: Very good buffet for reasonable competitive pricing. The buffet menu is not very long but all dishes are delightful. The salads are great. Sweets dishes are delicious. The mint margarita served on the table with buffet is really refreshing. You end the course with green or black tea. Ambiance is excellent with a bit of annoying music. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. No reservations required though sometimes during peak hours it might be difficult to get a table. Free Vallet parking is available. However, parking space is not adequate if you feel parking by yourself. Recommended for friends and family.

Food quality and taste was excellent however food quantity seems to be slightly less. Not too much crowded. Good family restaurant. I have uploaded complete menu pics in the gallery. It may be helpful.

A very good service by the management and even they managed and decorated the place quite well. Food was tasty specially their soup is fantastic. Had a good foody experience there.

Yummy food, cool atmosphere and extremely pleasant staff.. I enjoyed my visit there we had a bridal shower there and the staff was very compromising in giving us some extra time to enjoy our selves..

A few days back I got a chance to visit the east Chinese in Gulberg !!! The whole ambiance of the restaurant was really good it has the indoor and outdoor sitting according to your mood ☺️ also the outside area is best for pictures decorated with fairy lights and relaxed sofa chairs Coming towards food !!! I ordered appetizers and soup first following the main course and dessert, ʜᴏᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴏᴜʀ ꜱᴏᴜᴘ It was served with fish crackers. 🌟8 /10 ᴄʜɪᴄᴋᴇɴ ᴅʏɴᴀᴍɪᴛᴇ I must say the best thing from the whole menu !!! I could have it more and more before the main menu :D The taste of the sauce on the taste buds was very pleasing, I could feel the spiciness and sweet savor !!! The presentation was really good 🌟 10/10 ᴛʜᴀɪ ʙᴀꜱɪʟ ᴄʜɪᴄᴋᴇɴ From the main menu, I selected Thai basil chicken with fried rice, the chicken seasoning was like a mixture of sweet and spice !!! Limites but delicious dishes. Very cozy environment and great atmosphere with excellent staff. They only serve one time welcome drink (Mint margaritas) other than that I don't feel any downside.

At East - Chinese and Thai Lahore Review: I visited to have a dinner at this restaurant located in Gulberg Lahore and found it as under:- 1. Ambiance 7/10 2. Cleanliness 8/10 3. Food Variety 7/10 4. Taste 5/10 5. Value for Money 7/10 The buffet dinner is almost 1500 plus tax which is very economical now a days where u have a quite range of food Variety. The main and serious problem which i observed that the taste of main course dishes were below satisfactory and on the contrary Soup Buffalo Wings finger fish tempura etc all are very good alongwith Salads Sauces and the Sweet Dishes. The restaurant is recommended for one time visit only.

Among the best Chinese experience in Lahore. Excellent ambiance, great food quality and taste, extremely humble and friendly service makes it a perfect choice. The serving size is also good. It is however recommended to communicate the server about the spice level desired for your family. The Thai recipes are good for the people sought more spices.

This place was used to be good but now their management is not at all good!

We had really bad experience in their iftar buffet dinner. Initially they serve iftar items which includes two dishes of vegetable pakora, one dish of sandwich with red sauce without chicken, sesame honey wings were good, three dishes of 2mm thick chicken strips coated with lots of batter. No batter fried prawns in buffet, some salads, dahi bhaley, two dishes of mini burgers, 19 b soup without mushrooms and shrimps with dificult to find chicken in it. Main issue was they did not serve the main course untill 35 minutes after iftar so people can stuff them self with cheap iftar items. Iftar was at 6:40pm they serve main course after 7:15 pm. My son and wife did not had any thing at all in main course as they had lots of Mineral water (which we paid extra) because they did not serve second glass of free roh afza. I had their main course but did not enjoyed I was also full at the time they serve main course. We paid them 6400 but in my opinion we did not had more than 1000 iftar items. Most ridiculous thing was a server came with a dish of small batter fried prawns. He serve me 1 small prawn. As my wife and kid was there at buffet table so he only serve 1 prawn to 3 people, which I ask him to bring it back and serve it to some one else. This is what happened with my family.

I have been to the restaurant numerous times but never in the rushy days like we dis today. They didn't meet the set expectations today, i visited with my 5 friends (who came to Lahore from another city), one of the female staff (on the reception) of the restaurant assured that we can wait on the seats placed outside but after like 10 minutes when i asked them to dry the tables placed open air and wet, a male staff (don't know who) refused to accommodate us. It was an embarrassing moment for me to take my guests to another restaurant. Avoid the place in rushy days like winter and specially a rainy day like today.

Everything about the experience was average. Went there at the last slot of the day. The service was below average as utensils and welcome drinks were not given at the start which might be due to new staff. The food seemed pretty basic nothing exceptional. The Beef portions were alright, Garlic rice were something to avoid. They were also pretty slow at restocking the plates at the table. The dessert selection was average as well consisting of small cakes, jellies and pastries.

The ambience is so good! The food is cherry on top, to be honest. They should add more seafood in their menu though.

They should add more dishes to their buffet. Overall it was good .

It was a great experience as we hosted a party of 16 guests. The manager and waiters cooperated so well. The food was good and delicious. Especially Mr Babar SB the manager of this restaurant was so humble and kind. Their service was great.

Went for their ahi-Tea cum lunch. Dude East Chinese and Thai used to be my favourite pan Asian restaurant. With absolutely on point food to impeccable service and brilliant ambience. I was so excited to visit the place again after their re-opening. But darn. A complete 180 turn. Tasteless food. Lacking in quantity and quality. Not up to par service. The ambience has lost its charm too. I complained twice about the food and the only response I got was that I was 15min late to the HI-Tea So that’s why it’s probably cold. Really awful experience. Not going there again anytime soon. It was two people. Spent around 3.5k. Not too expensive but definitely not worth 3k even.

We were really excited for their hi-tea buffet which makes around 1600 per person but the experience was so bad. Food quality is not that good that was once when we visited 4 years ago. They don’t refill the food as well. We were on time and they started their buffet 15 mins late plus there were very less items in dessert with poor quality. Its just a waste of money. Bad thing is that they show wrong side of the picture on their instagram account

Did an iftar + dinner buffet and had a mixed feelings. Interior and exterior of this restuarant is well designed. They so have less number of parking and you have to use valley parking option. Few of the food items were good, while others were not great. To much salt was added in lemon fish gravy dish.

The food is good.. not great, but good. The desserts in the aftar buffet were better than all the buffets I have done in Lahore. So, thumbs up for that!👍 Sitting is gorgeous, salads are good.

Hi Tea was a great experience here. Everything was delicious especially the Chinese food. Desserts were so yummy especially the bread pudding and Shahi Kheer. Ambiance was also wonderful. One can easily go with family to enjoy. ❣️

The buffet dinner was good. the choices are enough for a reasonable appetite. deserts and salads are usually the neglected part in most of the buffets menus, East has taken care of desserts however, salads are indeed neglected. i would suggest to add some salads. the temperature of dishes was somewhat mild need to improve

Tonight dinner at East Chinese n Thai on MM Alam road Lahore. Menu was long as i ordered Egg Fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, beef in oyster sauce, East special soup, Tempura prawns, chowmein. Prawns were excellent in taste. Rice n chicken taste was above average. My ratings for this chinese food are 7/10. It is recommended from me.

Very good ambiance and humble staff, food cooking needs improvisation as it feels a earlierly served and not thoroughly cooked.

Idiotic CS, called three times to make sure my order is ready for pick up! When reached after 35 mins, got an answer to wait another 20 mins outside n your order will be ready. Use to be my goto for dine inns. Not any more. Stupid Costumer service!
