Regrettably, I won't be recommending this place, as it seems to follow the unfortunate trend of overpricing in Pakistan, which is disheartening as a Muslim. 2nd visit 29 Dec 2023 and tried dishes like chicken corn soup and Makhni Handi with nan. The handi tasted okay, but there were problems with dirty dishes and covers. Also, the restaurant doesn't have regular-sized water bottles, only regular drinks. They make you buy a bigger water bottle even if you only want a small one. It's inconvenient, especially for gatherings where a bigger cold drink bottle would be better. This makes me question their fairness to customers. Encountering such issues is disheartening, and I'm actively seeking a dining establishment that not only delivers delicious food but also upholds stringent hygiene standards. I prioritize places that earn through halal means rather than resorting to questionable tactics. If anyone knows of a reliable and honest eatery, please share your recommendations.

I'm becoming obsessed with their BBQ Platters as they literally have whole universe in one platter including biryani🥹 after that we tried Pina colada nd mint margarita! Yes, it's nicely built. You do get that desi - classic vibe when you get here. Charpayi, old style chairs, moorhe, and all that! Plus the place has a nice view and the staff lowered the music when I asked them to, so that was a cooperation. Now if you talk about the food.... errm, I don't think it's fair for them to charge 700 for single serving dishes that cost the half at other small diners, shops etc. The food isnt bad! But it isnt par with Rs.700. Thats not alot of money but the food they provide isnt upto the money value either. Ordered Rajhastani chicken 5/10 Chicken Manchurian 2/10 Malai Boti boneless (karahi) 7/10 It felt like I was eating manchurian that had costed me barely Rs. 100.

My experience at Dera restaurant Gadaffi Stadium was good. Let's start from ambiance, it was total paisa wasool kind of ambiance for the people who love desi environment. And food was good, as I had ordered karahi, white handi and adfhani boti. Karahi was superb 10/10, white handi 6/10 it's quantity is good but taste wise not good, Afghani boti was good 10/10 but as I like spicy food so it is not according to my taste. Service was also on point. They served garam garam naan, and food items. Recommended for people who love desi food.👍

Ordered their special tawa chicken and mutton seekh kebab and both were quite average (tawa chicken was way too oily). The utensils used weren't that clean and the whole place could do with some hygienic crash course. The servers looked without a plan and the custome4 service was overall very mediocre (the icing on the cake was the server handing our packed food to some other family). p.s. they accepted card payment without any issue (saw several reviews mentioning they don't take card payment)

Few days back, I went to this place called Dera Restaurant, in Gulberg III Lahore, to have some food because I was starving. The ambiance, the location, the smell, everything attracted me towards this place. It was such a cozy place, with the perfect outdoor sitting arrangement, the odour of food, hitting my nose made it such a good experience. The food was so delicious and the staff was also nice and hospitable. The service as well as the presentation was perfect. There was a little delay in the food though but the wait was worth it. I really enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and I will also visit this place again as soon as I am back in Lahore.

During on going Indoor dining restrictions Dera is among the best to visit with family. Ample of outdoor sitting, tasty food, nice ambiance and heating arrangements. Their food is heavy specially makhni stuff so order carefully instead of wasting food or getting the left overs packed. Cooperative staff though they sometimes miss the order but exceptions are always given.

If you go around 6 or 7 pm their service is good, after that, you need to wait a lot for your order. IMPORTANT NOTE AT END.!! We 23 persons had our lunch at dera. We ordered White karahi 8/10 White handi 7/10 Kebabs 5/10 Cheese malai boti 9/10 Our bill was almost 27k. NOTE: They included 16% GST in bill, we told them we want to pay through card, they said our mechine is not working. That was totally a lame excuse to get extra money from customers pocket. We insisted on paying through card, then they took cash with 5% GST. I think everyone should know, so I shared with you. 😊 P.S pardon me for bad quality of snaps as I cropped them from video.

July 4 2021 first time ordered. I placed order through Food Panda for an order of Chicken Afghani Boti and Mutton chops. Order delivered in 15 minutes! Food was hot and delicious.

We went there for group dinner. The staff was cooperatives and they helped us in giving order so that no food is wasted. Don't eat tikka or things like that from there.

The food was made well, served right and was very yummy, our empty Karahi (cooking pan) that the dish was served in is the proof that we were there to eat right out of it and did justice. We ordered some Roghni Naan that did not come out as desired and felt more like a roghni roti than a naan. Would have given this place 5 stars if not for the roghni naans. We inquired about the pan shop we saw outside that if it is a part of Dera restaurant and were told that it's not but they will be able to serve us right at our dinner table. We ordered some pans and they were made very well with right amounts and qualities of the ingredients. One of the worst & pathetic customer service which i never saw in my life. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to visit this restaurant. They dam care about their customers. I visited them all the way from gulberg, however upon arriving they offered me very odd space near to washrooms and no proper air conditioning. I ordered water 1st and asked three times to three different staff but no one bothered to serve water. I left the place without ordering food and they were very fine with that. I spoke to manager outside the restaurant that your restaurant seems like dont want customers. Instead f feeling ashamed he was very much satisfied. Once again POOR & PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

A few days ago I personally visited Dera Restaurant and it was such an unforgettable experience. I am amazed by it's unique desi vibes, food quality and the facilities it provides for disabled people. Usually when we think about the desi restaurants we usually think that it lack proper food hygiene and quality but this restaurant breaks the stereotypes.
