Always a great place to eat Chinese food. Food is great especially their Alfredo pasta and chicken chilli dry.

I recently dined at Mei Kong in Barkat Market and tried out deals 1 and 3 along with the special Thai Noodle. The restaurant offers a variety of deals, and I found that deal 3 was particularly satisfying. It's a great option for those looking to eat heartily. The special Thai Noodle had a good taste, although it didn't quite meet my expectations. This share a meal between two people.The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and the dim lighting adds to the overall atmosphere. With deal 3 being the highlight for me, priced at 749, I recommend it for a satisfying experience. The prices for the special Thai Noodle at 1625 and the large mineral water bottle at 140.

So I live in Barkat Market for almost 2 years and I never had a chance to go to Mei Kong and I don't know why. Maybe because of too closed spacing between reataurant chains next to each other possibly. OK, so I finally had the chance to visit and have a dinner here ofcourse alone 🥲. But, little did I know that this place had to offer alot of delcious meals, unfortunaltely I only got to have to diahes and believe me they were super delicious and amazing the environment was cozy and comfortable. Staff was professional. Overall the only minus point was that I had to wait little longer till the food arrived but other than that I was very comfortable and enjoyed their food and the reataurant is a bit expensive just to give you guys a heads up but the experience will not hurt you for paying more. 100% recommended to try this chain.

Visted Mei Kong resturant before 2022 Ramadan. Nicely decoded resturant in basement. Food quality is good but obviously one has to face parking issues due to busy Barkat market. Chicken with cashewnut was good but hot and sour was not that good. Service quality is good.

The seating is comfortable, the wait staff well trained and the food is delicious. Haven't tried their Desi offerings yet but from the Chinese side, it's one of the best in business. It's not traditional Chinese though, they serve a slightly desified version of the dishes which I personally prefer. Their masla rice alone are worth a visit. I can eat those without gravy, they are that well balanced. Overall, if you are craving Chinese food and need a comfortable place to eat, you can't go wrong with Mei Kong.

Worst steak I tasted ever that was gross 🤢 , I was a guest so I had to pretend decent otherwise food was a slap for the high price iftar meal was also a joke . A bad joke .

Best Chinese food restaurant in Lahore. I visited there in 2018 when I studied at Punjab University. Recently I visited the restaurant The quality remains the same but their prices are going to double due to inflation. Anyhow I request them to open their outlets near thokar or other cities. So the whole country enjoys the real taste of Chinese in Pakistan.

Ambiance is right on point. This place brings so much to me especially regarding books and my friend. So, this place does get have extra points for that.

Taste of food was good. A dhaba could give you better service. Honestly speaking. What they did to me was: If they don't have the food you ordered, they'll come with alternative even you didn't want that and serve you as the dish you ordered. They are also environment friendly as they save pages and electricity to print out the bills. They'll just give you a piece of paper with the amount written on it. That's it. (To cover up like you don't know what you've asked them to serve)

Overall a pretty bad experience. I was amazed to see Karahi and burgers on the menu. And voila the beef chillie dry had karahi level gravy and was not dry at all. We had to returned the soup because there was no chicken in it. The servers forced to order more and the food was wasted in the end. Overall had my family from khi and we paid 21k for 12 people for such an average food. I have never rated a restaurant like this but had to. Staff was also not too bothered. Had to call them again and again.

Very rich in taste and Quality. Ambiance is good. A lil expensive but you can get discount on credit cards. Got 50% off on Faysal bank Credit card on Friday.

I visited 2nd time this Meikong Chinese Restaurant. This time, I tasted Masala Rice and taste was appetizing and fantastic. Really, I loved these rice. I used Raita & fresh salad with it which added more in its taste. Service was also very good. Behaviour of staff was also very good and appreciated. Highly recommended these rice if you want to eat rice.

Desi environment and desi spicy taste. Its ambiance it not like of good Chinese restaurant. Service is also poor and takes too much time (about 45 minutes) to deliver the order.

I like the salad bar here. Always as fresh as it should be. There is a lot of variety that you can add to your salads. Also Chinese food is extraordinary here. The staff is cooperative and sitting arrangements are very well done specially for the families. You get food in time and you get a relaxing ambience to spend your time and relax your day. Cleanliness was also up to the mark.

Discovering this Chinese gem in Barkat Market was a delightful surprise. The Chicken Cashew Nut Deal was a perfect blend of flavors, and their special soup was a delightful start. A must-try for anyone craving authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine in Lahore.
