Feels like home. The staff are charming, patient, with a big heart and a lot of goodwill. Assisting in anything and every complexity that arises in matters of bureaucracies or anything else. The rooms are clean and cozy. Even big enough to do yoga. Cozy roof. Hot water in the shower. And a great atmosphere in the heart of a busy city. Highly recommend

Taru and Kedar were brilliant hosts and really helped me out in terms of their hospitality, and other things like transport etc. fairly sincere, and even laundry was done well! If you are really new to Kathmandu and want a sincere place come here - clean, hot water, wifi etc

It's good hotel. The hotel where we stays in thamel was quite good. Everything was in our interest. The location was good to reach the tourist center from the city in a view minutes. The service was totally fine. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms looked totally nice

Wonderful budget accommodations right outside Thamel. Plenty of hot water and great WiFi. Includes a nice hot breakfast every morning. Tarun and staff were wonderful and made my stay very enjoyable. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Nepal.

Definitely recommend to stay here. Excellent central location but also not too loud in the room. We slept very well. Room is big and clean. The rooftop terrace is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great!

Been here 3 times, first 2 times in a double room and last time in a single room. First time the hot water was not working. Second time everything was fine, could also store our luggage for free. Last time went to a single room and what room, primary the badroom was really bad. Pieces of the ceiling where constantly falling down, so every moment the badroom was dirty (sink, floor etc).

I planned for 3 nights in this hotel, then I had to go for Pokhara, but Mr.Tarun's hospitality compelled me to stay in this hotel for 6 nights, amazing hotel, great hospitality, nice staffs, large rooms in low budget, cleanliness is superb. I request the new comers in KTM to stay here and feel comfortable and have a pleasant stay. Love you KTM, love you Madhuban guest house. Thanks Tarun ji for so much kindness....

Bedroom was very spacious for two beds. Bathroom was not maintained. Glass window is big and can be opened. Terris is beautiful. The hotel doesn't serve food but tea is available. Owner is very helpful and very informative. Staffs are fine. Parking space is available.

Stayed here for our Nepal tour and it was an absolute treat. The staff was so kind to us, the room was excellent, and overall it contributed to one of our favorite trips. The hotel itself has a great theme and location. The recent renovations have made the hotel really nice, Thank you all hotel staff great service and hospitality.

Great value accommodation in an excellent location in Thamel , can walk everywhere including to Monkey Temple. Very friendly staff, arranged our airport arrival transfer for us, and also helped to purchase SIM card. Super helpful, we received the family room and it was spacious, comfortable and quiet. thank you, we will stay again on our return next month.

We loved this place. Spacious room, nice roof top, good staff taking care of us but not trying to sell us things all the time as in other hotels. Well located.

The hotel is just OK to stay. Room doesn't have any amenity. The owner mentioned that it isn't a 3 star property. But in a price of 1300 (INR). It should atleast have some basic amenities. The rooms are clean though. You can just stay here for a day or two. Also try to manage your whole trip on your own. Don't listen to hotel owner. We had to give Rs 24000 for just 3 days cab service (the hotel owner mentioned that the driver will take you to 4 places in pokhra, and 3 of them were just beside each other). Then he shifted us to a 3rd class hotel (Hotel green orchid) , that hotel was pathetic, I can't even mention that how dirty it was. Kathmandu madhuban guest house it just ok to visit for 1 day night or max 2 nights.

This guest house is in a great location and the rooftop is a nice place to chill out. Awesome staff (nothing is too much trouble) and amazing value for money! Recommended!

Stay was amazing. The main comfort was it's location which is very close to main market and all sites. The owner there MR Tarun was too cooperative. And his hospitality was amazing.

I would definitely stay here again. My room with shared balcony was amazing. Clean and fresh. Hot water doesn’t work on rainy or gloomy day tho. Perhaps due to solar heater. The toilet do not have ventilation except through the room itself. Otherwise clean place and service is fantastic!

Very dirty rooms. No mug in bathrooms. No breakfast was provided. The guy at the counter speaks and makes you comfortable but once you move in you will not have basic amenities.

A good place on the edge of Thamel. I've stayed here first time about 8 years ago, then a few times after. Good customer service and the rooms are large. Nice TV channels selection. I can recommend them.
