At
the
end
of
March
to
Early
April
I
trekked
to
Everest
Base
Camp
with
Peak
Promotion.
This
was
truly
a
life
changing
experience
for
me.
For
years,
I
dreamed
of
seeing
the
mighty
Chomolungma,
Mt.
Everest!
The
Himalayas
are
spectacular
and
if
that
isn't
enough,
our
Sherpas
took
amazing
care
of
us.
They
made
sure
we
had
proper
gear,
clean
water
to
drink
and
delicious
food
to
eat,
they
answered
our
questions,
gave
us
a
hot
towel
to
wipe
our
sweaty
faces
before
dinner,
they
brought
us
morning
"bed
tea"...
Basically,
they
offered
all
the
comfort
one
can
provide
to
trekkers
acclimatizing
to
unfamiliar
places
and
altitudes.
Well
connected
with
all
the
locals
on
the
trail,
the
Sherpas
would
even
help
us
go
bargain
shopping
in
Namche!
I
can't
thank
our
"boss"
Nwang
Phuri
Sherpa,
Gombu
Sherpa,
Phula
Sherpa,
Mingmer
Sherpa,
and
Nwang
Pemba
Sherpa
enough
for
their
support
and
kindness.
Because
of
them,
I
was
able
to
make
this
6
year
dream
a
reality!
One
of
the
highlights
of
my
trip
was
flying
in
and
out
of
Lukla
airport,
deemed
"The
Most
Dangerous
Airport".
