One of the best bars in town . Having visited this bar and restaurant a few times during my stay in katmandu I can say that it is right at the top of the list . . It has a very chilled atmosphere. Toby the host is very welcoming as are all the staff . A Pool table in the back sports bar is a great place to meet locals and travellers alike . Great tasting food . Especially the pizza's and pasta . Great selection of cocktails . Nice range of local and international beers and spirits . 👍🍺🥂🍷🥃🍸🍹

Excellent (English) bar. The owner is a legend and great company and the atmosphere is just right. A hidden little gem in Thamel. Would definitely highly recommend to anyone that goes there. 👌

I am a regular to Nepal and this bar immediately became my go-to-place. Great staff, fairly priced drinks and really good food. Plus football which I love. Highly recommendable

Great bar in kathmandu! Best pool table in the city… beer is cheap.. the pizzas are fantastic for the price btw.. toby the owner, you could talk to him all night.. very easy to get on with, and also plenty of tales about his past travels throughout the world

What a wonderfull to be. I've spend most of y time in this bar when I want to hang out but there is place for everyone because of it secret room behind the main room. You will love it for sure !

One of the best pubs in Thamel. Friendly atmosphere, great selection of food and drink. Toby is a great host and full of information. Whether just popping in for a quick plate of Momo's at lunch or a late night drink they are always happy to serve. The cricket memorabilia on the back wall is surprising and brought back memories of pubs back in Australia as well as a few surprises. Either way take the time to seek them out and you won't he disappointed.

My second home for my 3 months in Nepal. Always warmly welcomed by the staff and enjoyed meeting both locals and foreigners here. The food is great (my personal favourites being chips chilly and momos) and it’s the best value bar I found in Thamel. Looking forward to coming back next year - thank you!

If you come to Kathmamdu you need to check out Home Bar. It's an awesome new pub with an amazing owner Toby who made my birthday night lots of fun. Like its name it makes you feel like you are at home. Try the gnocci and the expresso Martini is second to none. I will be back!

Best bar in Thamel! Best value for money for all drinks and the unique cocktails. They also have the best gnocchi in town. It's an English bar, owned by Toby (from England) who's a wonderful host. They also have typical English food like bangers and mash, pie and mash and gravy! (P.s. The music is just right and allows you to have a conversation without having to scream your lungs out (like at many other bars.)

Home Bar is like a home away from home, you instantly feel welcomed and the food and drinks are amazing and delicious! I would definitly recommend this place if your visiting temporarily or living locally. You will not be disappointed! Shout out to Toby for making our night so much fun. Will definitely be back when we visit Nepal 🇳🇵 again.

This is our first visit to Nepal. It was a long time flying... from San Francisco... to Kathmandu. Who wouldn't need a drink for that? We discovered Toby and Home Bar when we needed to escape the noisy, traffic chaos of vehicles, especially motorcycles, on the tiny streets of Kathmandu. It's a lovely English pub! Toby (the Englishman) is an awesome bartender! Great locally made beers, good prices, great pizza (we like the "Meat and Greet") and pasta (the bacon pasta is a hit!), a pool table, board games, and live sports on TV.

Awesome new bar in Kathmandu. If you’re after great pizza in Kathmandu look no further! The owner Toby is a fantastic host and is never short of a good yarn. If you’re into sports there is also a sporting memorabilia room with some of the greatest sporting moments in History! Definitely worth the detour if you’re passing through Kathmandu and are hungry and thirsty!
