On the scale of healthy and harmful”authenticity”Edamame tilts on the harmful side , at least for me .Maki rolls were exceptional and well presented.All other food were well presented but flavors were controversial because of authenticity. Taste is subjective from person to person and also community to community.If chef could slightly adapt and reorientate flavors based on identity that would be really great .

We visited Edamame for dinner. The restaurant has been done well and feels great. The service was quick and amazing throughout. Its good to finally have good Pan Asian places opening in Kathmandu. There were enough vegetarian food options and everything we had was good. We tried the dimsums, sushi and Yakitori in the appetisers. Would definitely recommend the dimsums and the vegan tofu. The mains that we ordered garlic rice with vegetables and mapo tofu were ok but definitely looking at going back and trying other options.

Ate here with s/o for Valentine’s Day and I must say that I’m very impressed with the service, ambiance and the presentation of dishes. For the 6 course meal we got the non-veg option: Japanese kani salad, tom kha gai, salmon & tuna roll, scallop & prawn suimai, poached salmon, grilled lamb and a cute little heart shaped cake and macaroon. The server was rlly nice and explained the details of the food well. Will defo come here again!

Ate here for dinner. Chinese, Thai and sushi options. Our server was friendly and recommended dishes for us to order.

Flamed Salmon was amazing. 5 star food at 5 star prices. Good place for a really fancy night out. Service was excellent.

Was here for dinner! It was such an amazing experience as a whole. The food tasted as good as it was presented, great hospitality and will be back soon. They even arranged a sweet little surprise for my friend as it was his birthday. Thank you Edamame! 👍

You can't wear shorts. The place is empty. Didn't even smell good

We had a wonderful dining experience at Edamame. The food and service was excellent! Loved the flaming salmon, amuse bouche, and the California roll. They were very attentive to food allergies as well.

We came to Edamame late on New Year’s Eve and got their 8 course celebration menu. They had both meat and vegetarian options which was perfect for us. The waiters were welcoming, friendly and very professional. All of the dishes were beautiful and delicious. My husband was obsessed with the sushi. We came back today and the waiters surprised us with a farewell gift in the form of cheese cake. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Nepal. Thank you Edamame team for a wonderful food and service.

Best Japanese restaurant in town… amazing sushi, very tasty pork dumplings and probably best vegetable tempura I ever had… highly recommended 😋

The food is absolutely spectacular along with the drinks which taste beautiful with every sip you take thanks to the very talented bartender mr. Dinesh. The staff is really amazing and Mr. Bibek has always been a favourite!

Good Japanese menu. Very good environment. A bit on the pricey side. Portions of the food is rather small.

I have to give the bar manager, Milan Magar, a special thanks for giving out daughter the best birthday dinner ever. He really helped us when he didn't have to. Best pork belly in all of Kathmandu. Sad to be leaving Nepal and we can no longer dine here.

They said chestnut flavoured. It was some floral flavour. I said, rose. The waiter said it was something else. The food was great. But that ruined my experience. 8/10 They replaced it with an egg pudding 🍮. But it was a Christmas special. That one was good.
