One of the Best value hotels with 5-star quality interiors in the heart of Kathmandu - Thamel, yet so quiet and peaceful location. The rooms are exceptionally, clean, comfortable & modern. No detail has been spared in the Design and Architecture. The staff are very polite and friendly and always willing to help. They go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of the guests. Highly Recommended!

The only hotel you need in Kathmandu!! We’ve stayed at some others and let me tell you, don’t waste your time.. Book this place and you won’t regret it. One of the best things about this hotel is the FOOD! The food is AMAZING! We’ve toured Nepal for a month, and the cuisine here is the best. Sooooo tasty! Coffee is delicious here too! The rooftop terrace is one of the best. It’s high up above Kathmandu skyline. Great sunsets! The staff is so helpful and great, superb service! The rooms are so modern and cozy, felt like home for the time we spent here. Highly recommend!!!

My experience at this hotel was bittersweet. On one hand, the facilities were impressive and offered a high level of comfort. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the service staff displayed professionalism and courtesy. However, regrettably, my overall impression was tarnished by the impersonal and haughty treatment from the CEO, Mr. Dolakh. His attitude towards us, the guests, was disappointing. We felt like he was taking advantage of our lack of knowledge to maximize his own financial gain. The lack of empathy and distant attitude from the CEO left a negative impact on our stay. Despite the excellent facilities, the overall experience was affected by this interaction. I hope that in the future, the hotel considers the importance of friendly and genuine treatment towards its guests, as this can make a significant difference in the accommodation experience.

I stayed in the hotel on two occasions- before and after the tracking. I rarely write any reviews but this place just deserves one! The hotel is close to the airport and major tourist attractions. Rooms are quiet, clean and tidy. Food is amazing! Terrace has such an amazing view! Literally everyone- from the top management to other members of staff are great professionals and humans! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kathmandu - look no more!

Everest Boutique Hotel is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu. It’s surrounded by restaurants, bars, clubs, shops of any kind and it’s about a 20 minute drive from the airport. The staff at the hotel are so kind and ready to help you with anything and answer any question at any time. The hotel itself is beautifully made out of brick and the rooms are furnished with a really comfortable beds, AC and with 24/7 hot shower. They offer breakfast, they have a bar and restaurant, and also a gym on the rooftop with an incredible view. The building itself is tucked away a little bit so you don’t hear the city noise too much in the rooms. The rooftop view of the hotel is incredible, it overlooks the entire city and the hills and the Himalayan mountains on a clear day. Definitely worth staying at Everest Boutique Hotel while you are in Kathmandu!

Perfectly located in the heart of Kathmandu. The room was spotlessly immaculate and very comfortable. Super homemade breakfast Hosts are truly kind always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it to anyone who stays in Kathmandu for tourism or any other reason.

In old Town area, narrow winding roads lead to this hotel. Intricate wooden door carvings look Great, as well as the town view from their Roof Terrace. Their front desk Operations Manager needs to be humble and a bit more polite while dealing with customers !

A modern, professional and beautiful hotel with amazing service and great amenities. The Everest Boutique Hotel sits on the outskirts of Thamel , making it a great location away from the busy streets, with shops such as a supermarket and a pharmacy close by less then 50yrds away. Alongside with a few cafes and restaurants. The location is perfect as it is also less than 5minutes walk from the heart of Thamel. With plenty of Taxis around you get can to anywhere you want. What I like about this hotel is the affordability, with such luxuries it is worth the price , the bonus of airport transfer and breakfast included is superb. The manager is super friendly and respectful who has helped our stay become very comfortable. Facilities included a gym and spa. With okay spa prices, however it is more expensive than Pokhara for the massages. The shower was amazing, a super hot rainfall shower, has all the bits and bobs shower gel , shampoo and towels. Water restocked everyday, really highly recommend.

I love the room. So clean and neat, with a comfy bed and a balcony. You can see thr Swayambhunath temple from the balcony. The local Nepali foods that I enjoyed at breakfast time or I ordered for room service menu were tasty and delicious. The hotel also has an elevator. Its location is still close to Thamel area.

Great place to stay in Kathmandu. We stayed two nights, went to trekking and came back for additional three nights before our departure. Hotel stuff is very polite and professional, everything was perfect. Strongly recommend!

I did not stay at the Everest Boutique Hotel, but took the opportunity to have drinks and food on the rooftop terrace there on several occasions over the past 2 weeks. I found the staff to be most welcoming, hospitable and amenable to our using the terrace despite not being actual guests of the hotel. The views of Katmandu from the terrace are spectacular with hills, mountains (occasionally snow-capped), circling kites (birds of prey that look like a phoenix) and the monkey temple make a visit to this rooftop terrace a must when in Katmandu.

Nice clean Hotel in Thamel with all the Trekkers Shops, Money Changers and Restaurants around. The Hotel pick-up as well the staff is great.👍😍We had a great warm welcome at the Reception from Lady Laxmi which showed us also the room. The Owner or Manager was also very helpful with organizing trips or information. Food we also can recommend. At the Looby or the Roof Top Restaurant...the male staff was amazing friendly and served us like kings..thanks to ALL of them. Wifi & TV is also working...we stayed before EBC TREK and afterwards each time 4nights and we come back again in September 2024👍😍..René and Liz at IG: @renepeter57

I do not recommend this hotel. The manager makes us feel very bad inside the hotel. The hotel is good, but the hotel manager's bad energy hinders one from enjoying a good stay in Kathmandu. He keeps snooping on what you're doing, how you're getting around Kathmandu, what you're eating,... He makes nasty comments, always wanting to gain financially from you. I thought the hotel food was horrible. I ate the worst carbonara of my life, but he continued to insist that I eat at the hotel. Asking about dinner, I said that I had bought an apple, and he said that I was filling my belly with breakfast (which was included) and eating the apple (which I had bought on the street and is cheap). In other words, I was not spending money at the hotel. He also kept making unpleasant comments, mocking that I was very smart, when he saw that I was using InDrive (the Uber there), which a guide told me about. It seemed to me that he wanted to benefit if I used a taxi called by the hotel to get around. I had a horrible experience. I made three two-day reservations. The first was Ok, the second, I had a very serious problem with the manager, and the third, I canceled, as there was no point in returning to this hotel. The second time I stayed there, I had booked a superior deluxe room with a balcony. Arriving there, around 10 am, he offered me a deluxe room without a balcony. I said that was not the room I had booked. He said he would compensate me by giving me a transfer to the airport. I accepted. I asked him to put my luggage there because I wanted to go out and see some things. I came back around 12 am and asked for my room key. He had given this room to another person. He wasn't at the hotel. I asked the person at the reception to give me the room I booked. He put me in a tiny room, the cheapest in the hotel, with a window onto the hallway. I thought it was temporary, just for me to get ready. The room was nothing like the one I booked "superior deluxe with balcony". I needed to go out again for a tour. When I left, I sent a message to the hotel so they could put my luggage in the room I booked. When I returned late in the afternoon, the manager walked me to my room. My things were in the cheapest room in the hotel. I repeated that this was not the room I had booked. He said he didn't have another room at the hotel, that the next day he would put me in the room I booked. I said I wouldn't pay for that room, for everything he had put me through that day. He said I wouldn't have to pay. However, when I went to check out, he charged me two nights for the superior deluxe room with balcony, but on the first night he put me in the cheapest room in the hotel, and had even said that I didn't need to pay. When I questioned him, he said I wanted to stay at the hotel for free. I was very nervous about his lack of honesty, asking him to keep his word. After an argument, I finally didn't pay for the day he gave me a room (inferior to the one I had booked, but I accepted), gave the same room to someone else and put me in an even worse room, the cheapest in the hotel, with a hard bed, with a window to the corridor, where I couldn't sleep.

Good hotel with rooftop restaurant with view at mountains and Monkey temple. Rooms are clean, large and luxurious. Even a jaccuzi in it. Breakfast is good for Nepalese standards, toast your bread. They do have an airport pickup service. Neighbourhood has lots of barking dogs which usually stop at midnight, but if they continue the night manager doesn't take action against them. I had to dress and go out. So i advise you not to get a room on the street side. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a few nights at the end of our time in Kathmandu, and it was fantastic! Decor of the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the food is great and the staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a brilliant rooftop terrace, which is perfect for watching the sunset. The hotel is based in Thamel, so it is perfect for site seeing and shopping, but it is not on the main street, so it is nice and quiet.

Have to say this hotel was a great find. The staff are amazing and the manager particularly helpful with travel arrangements - they have their own travel agency. I cannot fault this hotel - they really do go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one.

We stayed a total of 1 week at Everest Boutique Hotel before and after trekking and we’re so glad we did. Really nice hotel - Comfortable, large rooms with giant beds and amazing service from every staff member, especially Olin (probably spelling that wrong) and manager Dolakh who helped sort out our trekking travel. Extremely close to buzzing Thamel but just outside the madness of it which we were incredibly grateful for. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Kathmandu!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. New, beautifully clean. Wonderful staff, great food. A few minutes walk to Thames for shopping and eating. Excellent in house spa and terraces were wonderful to sit and enjoy the views.

My new number one hotel in Kathmandu. It's very close to Thamel center but still far away enough to not hear all the noisy clubs. Amazing views and great rooms with the cleanest showers I've seen in Thamel so far. The gym is tiny but very well equipped - and thr views are unbeatable. Strongly recommended.

This hotel was amazing and I highly recommend to anyone especially those coming back to Kathmandhu post trek. The rooms are clean, luxurious, and the showers are amazing! The owner and staff make you feel so welcome and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable, it had a great family feel to it. The K2 terrace is fantastic from sunrise to sunset you can enjoy quiet relaxing views of the city. The location of the hotel is also perfect just off of a main street in quiet location yet walkable to main area within thamel.

This is a new hotel, with exquisite service, very clean, comfortable and tastefully designed rooms. It is located in Thamel, yet it is quiet at night. Breakfast is superb, with Nepalese and western choices. Room service menu is great, with vegetarian and non-veg options. Hot water is available 24/7. The owner of the hotel also runs the Mountain Mart company which we used both for the trek and cultural sight-seeing. From the hotel staff to the Company's guides and drivers, everyone is very professional, polite, kind and helpful. Cannot recommend the Everest Boutique hotel enough!

The Everest Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu is a hidden gem that offered me a peaceful and luxurious escape in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the city. The rooftop terrace and restaurant provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it! 💪

This is such an amazing boutique hotel to stay in Kathmandu. I could not help but come twice during my visit in Nepal. The hospitality and warmth of the staff, the amazing food, really good amenities and standards for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend them enough !

Newly built hotel with fantastic amenities. Right away, the vibe of the hotel puts you at ease with an outdoor fountain and comfortable lounge area. The CEO, Dolak, provides a very personal service, even giving me his cell phone number to book rooms in advance inbetween my treks. The rooms are quiet and incredibly comfortable and there's a full group of staff who are ready to respond to your every need. The breakfast is delicious and served fresh every morning. Definitely one of the best deals for a posh, high-end hotel in Kathmandu, highly recommend!

Very comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The gym on the roof was also great. It was very quiet which was good as it’s small but it was perfectly equipped both for me and my partner. We stayed at Everest Boutique Hotel for my work first but ended up coming back after a hike to langtang also during our holiday as the service was so good.

The hotel is new and clean, and the shower and facilities in the room are good. The view from the window is superb and the night view is also beautiful. I think most of the guests are Indians. Perhaps for that reason, breakfast is more spicy than Western style.

The view of the top balcony is really nice. You can view the whole city. We spent one day on it for reading and relaxing under the sun with water, coffee or tea. The owner of the hotel is soooo friendly and the room is really new ( built by August of 2022) and comfortable with impressed hot water for shower. Definitely worth to live. Also the breakfast is good with the local foods. And the water for drink is very safe with the special filter. This is the best hotel experience for me in Kathmandu.

Great location on the edge of Thamel, close to all the things but without the noise and chaos. Hotel is clean, stylish, great WiFi and good value. Our room had a balcony with nice views and there are two roof terraces. Staff very helpful. We’ll be staying here again.

I usually never write google reviews but this hotel was amazing so could not stop myself from writing this review. This is one of the best hotel in Kathmandu. All the amenities are very modern. Hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly. I would love to stay here again.

Amazing, brand new Hotel. We stayed there before our trek and liked it so much we booked it again once we finished. It's right next to Thamel so less busy and quiet, but easy access to all the restaurants and shops. The beds are super comfortable and the design of the hotel is really amazing.

I stayed in a few hotels now in Kathmandu and this one is really a hidden gem, great price for what you get. Big, very clean rooms and the water pressure in the bathroom is just amazing. The staff is very friendly and accomplished. Definitely recommend.

Hotel is amazing, with group of friends we spent there an amazing week. Rooms specious, clean, beds enormously big. People in hotel very nice and polite. Food in restaurant delicious and incredible view from terrace. Hotel is beautiful and can’t come up with anything negative I could point. Truly recommend this place and if I ever come back to Nepal for sure will stay in Everest Boutique hotel
