Long overdue Review Raju shreshtha is truly the best in Nepal. I booked a full time jeep with driver for 6 days with magic expedition/ info-Nepal trek in December 2023 to visit Pokhara, Muktinath temple and various stops on the way. This was my second time with them and third time in nepal. The service as usual was impeccable. Not only he gave us good deal and good currency exchange rate, but the driver, Mr. biren was also fantastic and became our tour buddy and Mr. Raju kept checking up on us every day till we reached Dhaka safely. I cannot recommend him enough. If you need any assistance for your Nepal tour, look no further. Come to this place and talk with Mr. Raju. He will arrange everything flawlessly.

My 2 teen daughters and I had an excellent experience with Magic Expeditions. The owner Raju arranged everything for us on our 16-day visit to Nepal. They have two hotels in the center of most popular part of Katmandu. Raju arranged our nightly stays around Nepal, exploring Katmandu, private car for drive across Nepal to Safari. Flights to Lukla for us, and everything for our 11day Everest Base Camp Trek. I appreciated that he had a vast knowledge of travel and Adventure in Nepal and was well connected to everyone. One of the best things was how he worked with us personally to arrange everything and wrote down any cost and expenses so that we can understand clearly what we were paying for and what we were getting. Massive shout out to this company! Fantastic service! We really gave them less than 24 hours notice to organise permits, buses, guides when we found their office in Kathmandu! We hired a guide (Ganesh- bloody legend!!!) and a porter (our little comedian Krishna!) between 3 of us aussies! They were honestly the best! Made this trip a breeze! They really looked after us, found the most beautiful and cleanest tea houses along the circuit! We really enjoyed our card games with them during downtime and sharing stories! Definitely book through these guys! We saw some companies along this route carrying the craziest loads and in some terrible footwear! Looking so exhausted and arriving at destinations so late at night! This is not the case with this company as this was one of our major concerns when trying to find a trekking company! Our guides and porters seemed to generally love their job and working in mountains! Also our company had strict weight restrictions for their porters and before we booked we asked and checked if they were equipped with comfortable gear (hiking packs, hiking boots etc!) Thanks again for everything! 🏔 we had the best time!!!!

Without Mr. Raju’s help, my trip in Nepal would’ve been impossible. He helped me arranging bus tickets to Pokhara with Swift Holidays, paragliding, and Nagarkot sunrise tour. This company gives fair prices and attentive service. Mr. Raju and Lokesh knows every trip schedule and checks up to make sure everything works well. Guided by Badri I did the Langtang Valley Trek and the Annapurna Circuit in Nov 2022 and have to say it was one of the best things I did in life. Raju and Khaji were very helpful and supportive before my journey and during my whole stay in Nepal and Badri was really fun to travel with and full of knowledge about local culture, religion, flora, fauna, food, drinks,.. I don’t have enough words. It has been one of the best experiences of my life . Since the moment I booked everything with Raju at the agency, I felt I was in the correct place. And then for my surprise, I had a marvelous guide and a wonderful porter . Raju worried everyday about me and my experience . He was Always very professional, kind, honest and always smiling ! That give me a lot of energy and power and I trust him everything ! During the adventure , I felt so comfortable with my guide , Gobinda. Excellent English, explanations , very worried about me, but the most important thing is, he believed in me, and I felt that confidence every day , to continue and continue. He was always by my side. He was always happy , always deeply kind, attentive, in calm. Gobinda had a lot of experience , he recommend things not also to me, a lot of people during the way trust in Gobinda, and I was really proud that he was my guide. I cannot be more grateful of sharing this experiences with a great, lovely and honest human like him. He was not my guide , he was a friend ! He is a very good friend ! I am going to give them 5 stars for all the care they took of everything. I have done the Manaslu and Tsum Valley trek with them after an exhaustive look over many agencies and I believe not only that they have by far the best prices but also a high quality of the services provided.

Organised our transportation at a very reasonable price and also helped us to plan our activities and day tours in Pokhara. Very friendly and reliable people. Surely recommended!

Copy pasted from my other Account, yet still my honest review: I was at different travel agencies e.g. to book a flight Ticket to the Everest erea and I am very happy that I found this place and the manger Raju! Other agencies told me wrong prices to make extra money, and they also tried to make me afraid so that I book a guide and a porter. Raju was honest, did not try to make the highest amount of profit out of me, and informed and helped me professionally in the way I asked and wished for. For me it was not easy to trust a stranger e.g. by paying for an open flight ticket back in advance. But I found out that he held all his promises and also as I came back on a different way as expected, he canceled the airplain and the bus ticket for my way back and he did refund the complete amount to me as I was back in KTM. Also he stayed in contact with me one the way to the Everest, calling me to remember me for the bus and later called to check if everything works out properly with the flight. I want to come back more often to Nepal and I am happy that I found a place that I really can trust for information and travel assistance. So I can recommend it to everyone. Also if anyone does read that long three another maybe really helpful things (all not attached to the travel agency or Raju): 1) if you go with a guide on a tour in high attitudes, check for yourself how many meters a day you should go up maximum from sleeping place to sleeping place (not more than 500 after you reached 2500m). First I did not belive the stories that some guides walk on purpose too high attitudes in order to cause that some tourists on the way get sick (AMS) so that they get picked up by a helicopter, which is paid by the insurance and the guide gets provision from the heli company. Later yes, now I do belive it. So inform yourself and make off days also in case the guide tells you that you can continue to walk higher... 2) install the app patao to call taxis and or motorbikes for fix prices in KTM (less hustle and always transport when you want). 3) don't go out at night in non-touristy areas alone without transport, because these friendly sleeping dogs at daytime turn into (at least in some not touristy areas) crazy dog gangs during the night. 4) don't use water Filters in cold trekking areas! The filter brakes at frozen temperatures! I know 1 and 3 sounds a bit crazy, but I tell you it is true. Stay safe and have a beautiful time in this beautiful country!

My girlfriend, her mum and I did a fantastic 6 day Peaky Pike trek. Raju was amazing at working everything out for us, really going above and beyond to make it so good. We had the amazing Tula as our guide, they all provided so much support. He also helped organise a trip to Chitwan National Park, a PCR test and transport for us. Would highly recommend Raju and his team!

What an epic adventure it was! Our guide Ganesh was amazing, very knowledgeable, and he took really good care of us. Everything was great, starting with the pickup from the airport to final goodbye before going back home. I highly recommend trekking with Magic Expedition.
