My life became a dream in all senses of the word since I had the opportunity to get a teaching from Mingyur Rinpoche the abbot of the monastery. The monastery is fine but the teachings are fabulous. You have to be very lucky like I was because they are rare or better check the website Tergar Asia if you are interested with courses on how to have a wonderful life whatever misery fall on you and make a trip with the right dates and inscription before. 👍

It was a true delight to have the opportunity to receive bardo teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche, as well as Tzunma Miao Rong, in Tergar Osel Ling Monestary, a very beautiful & scenic place. We met many wonderful people there. Our deepest gratitude to all Tergar Asia committees & volunteers for their relentless hard work in organizing the event.

A place for refuge and meditation & not a tourist attraction. To me this was something like a Catholic going to a well known church. Two monks went out of their way to show us the meditation halls. There are no tickets but one might make a donation of one's choice. The road to the place is steep & narrow & not an easy drive.

If you're in Kathmandu, a visit here is a must. The ambiance is inviting, the offerings are exceptional, and most importantly, it's a safe environment for susara visitors

A majestic view of Kathmandu valley can be observed from here which is located very nearby to the Soyambhu hills.
