This is on eof the oldest book shops at Patan. This book shop at the Gate of the Patan is not only valuable for Nepalese but also for many tourists who visit the area. My foreign friends are happy to visit this place and find books that they want published internationally and found locally. It is accessible place and feidnly staff makes it easier to fetch books here

Diverse books in both Nepali and English language. Good decoration. Some nice interactive books for kids. You can find it easy at the main entrance of the Lalitpur Metro City. There's cafe shop inside the book store.

A friend recommended that I check this bookshop out. As an alternative to a famous, large bookstore that has 2 locations in Kathmandu. See what happened... I left with 9 books, all on my #tbr list. I was very happy that I could order 2 more from them and that I was about to order from abroad. Support this independent bookdealer !! Oh yes, the Cafe Dhoikama is great too, especially the court yard 🥂🙂

5🌟 Lovely, cozy book store right at the door of the historic city of Patan. Whenever I return to Nepal, this booktore is on my visit list as it does have wonderful books and a sense of authenticity amidst all the ebooks days. Next to it, you have the famous Dhokaima Cafe. Back in the days this cafe was one of the most frequented by the youngsters and tourists. I love the small reading table looking out towards the hustle and bustle of Patan. This is unique to the boom store - pushing visitors to pause ans appreciate the beauty in the caos of the capital city! Do visit this place and help the local bookstore!

A great selection of children's books are available here, in Nepali and English. There is a growing collection of original Nepali children's books, in addition to the excellent selection of novels, Nepali history, etc for adults. The prices are very reasonable and the staff give great recommendations and are very helpful.
