Very nice place to hang out and drink with friends. It has a rooftop where you can see the view of Thamel around you, and it's very beautiful at night time. The manager was very nice and friendly, too ^_^

If you are into alternative music and wish to see a live band, have a beer and enjoy your night, this is a place to be. In the absolute center of Thamel, you can't really miss it because the music can be heard from the outside and is quite inviting. Bar has an indoors and outdoors bit, with a funky little area (shoes not allowed) where you can lounge on the cushioned floors with a drink and some shisha. They do offer food I believe but unfortunately never got to try it. Menu is quite extensive for a place of this caliber (usually rock bars have few beers, few shots and that's about it), service is friendly and fast and place is packed most of the time. Perfect to enjoy a good brew, meet new people and listen to good music.

Not sure why they call themselves Reggae Bar when they don't play even play reggae. I went there five different times over the course of a month and never once did I hear reggae. Each time I arrived, I asked the bartender if the live band was going to play reggae music that night. Each time the answer was "Yes yes. We play reggae." And each time, I was sourly disappointed.

Arrived at 21:45 waiter didnt tell us that closing was at 22. After we order the waiter said it was last round of drinks. And started to close the restaurant. Waiters forced us to leave before we finish.

Pros - The Live music... Amazing Live music... a place to be... Cons- The staff members had a bit of attitude... while my cousins were on the dance floor and I was on the table, one of the staff members got the bill without requesting for it... I told him that we would be here for more... but did not bother to take the bill back and left the menu and bill together... Hadn't the music been so good we would have just left... The music hooked up us...

The bar was awesome and the drinks were great! (Don't get the pizza if you like crispy crust). The staff were super attentive but the best bit was THE BAND. These guys are probably some of the best live performers I've ever seen and it was sick

Great New Year Eve Party Yesterday! Even i am from Europe and did not understand most of the Nepali songs were played by live band, but they make me happy by playing Blink182

One of the best bars in Thamel,Ktm,Nepal.This place has been around for many years and yet it never stops making me feel Cosy and comfortable at the same time.The Decor has changed at times but the people,food, drinks and the "my kinda place" feeling has never changed and that's what makes reggae bar,my favorite since time immemorial and will remain in all the years of my life.❤

Ever since the beginning has been my favourite place to be. The sound system is just perfect and the bands performing are always awsome. One of the best Rock bar in KTown. Foods are good as well.
