This is my first time in embassy restaurant, they are unique in terms of sitting and interior decoration. Ambiance is very homely and food was great as well. Ì tried japanese cuisine there. Stuffs are very cooperative and i must recommend everyone to visit this restaurant

There are often times in certain restaurants you feel that no matter how much the food costs, you are ready to pay your hard-earned money to eat the food because you feel that the food is worth it. The Embassy Restaurant & Bar is not one of those places. As someone who is always keen to try different places and try different cuisines from different establishments I had heard a few decent things from others about Embassy Restaurant and Bar which made me want to try it. Needless to say, I had a pretty terrible experience here. The pricing on the menu is pretty rampant - there are food prices that range from a few hundreds to some of the most basic of food items here. Starting with the appetisers, the Potato Chilly and The Sauté Corn was enough to stop me from ordering any other items... They were some of the most tasteless, bland and unappetising food items that I have had in Kathmandu. The food tastes well below expectations. The vibe is pretty basic, nothing really to rave about. The Embassy Restaurant & Bar would have to drastically change things to change my mind. Hard-earned 1 star.

Service- Perfect, Ambience- Very good, Food- Average. But really Rs.2700++ for this portion of Bbq platter? I expected it to be atleast double the portion of what they really served us. These other really good places serve same portions for Rs.1200-1400 which tastes much better. Soo not worth the price and really stupid to include that watermelons to the plate. It would seem like alot but is all full of food we wouldn’t want. And would be better off to include some sauce instead if you are giving out those dry meats. Staffs were very good and attentive though.

Perfect place for good food.

They charged me Rs. 100 for half liter of water bottle which I didn't ask for. Also, the water should usually be free. Food is average. Only good if you have large group and good budget. Japanese food is not so good. However, the ambience is quite good. You can spend hours and chill with friends.

Perfect place live music... enough parking .... hukka is available... pork is the best of this place. Siting arrangement is great. Indoor and outdoor both seating arrangement is perfect... 👍. Good for family... great for couple .... love bird💌❤️... perfect place for kids to old age. Heater and fan is available as per season. AC indoor. Name is very unique “Embassy” which is very catchy and every one are loved the name.

The taste of the Bengali Fish curry was below par really bland and tasteless. The price was not justified with the food taste at all and what's up with the extra VAT and service charge??

During my first visit, I was impressed with the service and quality of foods despite of slight more expensive than others restaurants. But I am really disappointing with the service as well as quality of foods during my next visits. It will be more fruitful and enjoyable if owner could work more on quality of foods along the service. Live music along with increasing opening hour night add extra flavor and it will more in more mouth of people.

Amazing place to have good food, music and take pictures! Small nice domes you can sit inside and eat! That give you a cozy feeling! Pricing is Fine along with VAT. Must try dish is Pork Chop dish and Shrimp Pork! Highly recommended for meetings, dates and dine-in.

They have varieties of food so you can choose your most favorite dish! The food was satisfactory. The price was decent too. Rs.3600 for 5 people is great, right? You might like this restaurant! 😁

Good food good place prime location so prices may be in higher side

It lies just in front of Japanese Embassy Panipokhari. Good location, hospital, police station, grocery store is around here. Foods are delicious along with nice reception.

Never visiting this restaurant again. Went seeing aesthetic of this restaurant for my birthday celebration but nothing tastes good here except for the momo and Hakka noodles. The smoothies were the worst. And the restaurant is too much expensive for what it is.Tell me who brings 3 different bills to the same person and ask for 13% VAT in each one of them? Honestly, my experience was here was worst.Very much disappointed.

We went for a birthday party at embassy Food was not up to the mark Tandoori chicken they served was not fresh n mint chutney was zero Overall it was a waste of money. Train well before bringing it to the table.

Tasty food served. Variety of cuisines on offer including Chinese, Japanese, Indian and local food. Service is quite good. Ambiance is great. Limited parking facility available. Vegetarian optiond on offer too

We ordered few a drinks, which arrived after our starters. We then waited another 45 minutes for one main meal, which was super small in its portion and wasn't anything like what it was described on the menu. Staff were not bothered when we complained about the time we had to wait for the food. Would not recommend to anyone!

Great experience, I attended an event with friends and family. Good food. Chai was good. Atmosphere was great. WC clean and well maintained. Will visit again.

Pizza, bownie was yummy but sushi wasn’t that great, overall ambience is nice & little expensive as any other fancy restros. Place is peaceful to chill & eat
