I savored each dish. Simple yet fresh and balance just the way how Tibetean food is to be. This restaurant as per the owner had been established over 30 years back. They shifted to the current location about 5 years ago. I was quiet suprised and delighted to see some uncommon offerings here like espresso coffee, veriety of Beers, cctv, and manual citric juice extractor. Had Chicken chowmein, momo, egg Thenthuk and cappuccino. I give all 5 stars, well 4 for chicken steamed momo. Momo achar which also came with chowmein was yummy and really enhanced the taste. Budget friendly, fast service..they close on Saturdays. Will be frequenting here.

Our hotel recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint. We ordered the pork chili momos, the fried chicken momos and the veggie steamed momos. The veggie momos had tons of flavor; the chicken momos were reminiscent of fried chicken (in a good way), and the chili momos had the perfect amount of spice. We also tried their banana lassi, their sweet lassi and their papaya lassi. All of them tasted good, and none of them felt artificial. Our favorite was the sweet lassi.

They are famous for their MoMo. But not only that they serve an amazing mix fried rice and super paneer chili. Owner and the staff is also friendly. One of my favourite places to dine in Kathmandu.

The shop has 3 stories, let enter the 2nd and 3rd floors for tables. Tukpa and Chili mono were very nice.

We wondered around town the first night just to try and find this place, it was so worth it when we did. So much so that we came back 3 out of the 4 nights that we were in town. Gotta have the house speciality, momos!

Yangling Tibetan Restaurant One of the best Chilli Momos you can find here at Yangling Tibetan Restaurant. It's been here more than 2yrs now since last visited this place but the quality of food is still delicious and value for money. Tucked in the 3storey building in the heart of Thamel. Most of the food menu is quite reasonal. Worth visiting and tasting the momos. Would definately recommend this place who are foodies. A must to try place. The staffs are very friendly too. #SGTREK #foodie #momo #Yangling #Tibetian #Foodplaces #foodstagram #foodphotography #Nepal #Thamel

Our hostel staff recommended us this place for momo and we took chicken chilli momo. And what a delicious momo it was. The quantity is huge for the price. The momos were soft and crispy and perfectly spicy. We also took chicken chowmein and chicken thukpa. Those were okay. The thukpa is good if you add some soya sauce and chilli flakes which they generously provide. It's a very local place and everything including momos are made fresh.

We changed hostels and Yangling Tibetan Restaurant became our go-to lunch spot for freshly prepared momos, fried rice, chowmein, and just snacks in general. Try: Chilli Paneer, Chilli Momo, Mixed Chowmein, and their Banana Lassi. All are excellent. Besides having delicious food with no-too-hot chilli flavours, you can see in and see how clean their kitchen is. That's always a great sign for me.

I had the buffalo soup (Thukpa) and buffalo momos. I enjoyed the soup more, it was really good. The dumplings were not bad, but had a few small bones in them, and a few immpossible-to-chew cartilage pieces. Overall a good experience. The prices are quite reasonable. I will probably be back here.

Tasty food and very friendly and helpful staff. A simple restaurant with good food at decent price. Any fried rice is excellent. Thukpa was a little bland but tasted good nevertheless. Momos were delicious. Very helpful folks who represent true Nepal culture of warm hearts.

They said this is the best place for momo. Feels like same momo everywhere to me haha. The owner is a tibetan and they have lots of tibetan choice of food..the price is affordable and it's very near to the hostel area..the food is serve within 20 minutes time compare to most of the restaurant around thamel. The chicken thukpa and chow mien is nice as well. I came here with bunch of friends and we tried different type of food here.highly recommended

Excellent selection of authentic Tibetan dishes.. cooked to perfection, with good portion sizes and very satisfying. A long established, reliable and popular restaurant which continues to set the bar for healthy eating. Situated a very short distance from the centre of Thamel in a relatively quiet side street, dining is on several floors. A large selection of drinks including soft drinks, and beers which, along with glasses, are kept well chilled. The perfect spot for lunch. Great service, great food and very good value. Closed on Saturday.

In our opinion, the best restaurant in Kathmandu. Very clean place with the nicest staff. The food is beyond amazing. We have visited Yangling a few times and tried different menu items - everything was just perfect. We highly recommend Yangling if you want to try genuine Tibetan cuisine at reasonable price!

In a small street next to Paknajol there is Yangling restaurant. It’s a restaurant with three levels and at ground level is the kitchen. Unfortunately they smoke inside at ground level. The next levels you may not smoke. This is the first restaurant I noticed that they don’t charge 10% fee for the service. Giving tip is up to you. We ordered vegetable momo which is very good and spicy. The ‘orange-colored’ sauce you get with momo makes the taste fresh.

Great service, only took 15 minutes for our meal. The thenthuk was good, but felt like it lacked a little flavor. Loved the fried panneer with chili and the banana Lassi. We would come back again. Good mix of locals and tourists.

Thenthuk was delicious. A comfort food that warms you up from inside and fills you up real good. Lots of foreigners were enjoying their meals here.

Delicious food, excellent service, nice ambience, fair price. Probably the best momos I had in Nepal, definitely recommended. Next time I visit Kathmandu, I’ll return to this place for sure.

My best meal in Kathmandu yet. Generous, tasty and reasonably priced dishes. I particularly liked the chicken chili momos! You can watch the chefs making the dumplings on your way up to the dining room.

Absolutely the greatest Momo’s in the entire city. Highly recommend as they are indescribable and cheap. 10/10

The shop serves delicious Tibetan food at reasonable prices. Options include momo, fried rice and noodles, thukpa (soup noodles), and thenthuk (soup thick flat noodles). Momos fried in chilli paste and garlic are tasty and popular.

Our favourite Momos of our time in Kathmandu. The chilli chicken (pictured) and chilli veg momos especially were great. Comfortable venue, quick service and friendly staff. If staying or visiting Thamel, highly recommend.

Fresh and delicious Tibetan food with friendly service! Yangling is my favourite restaurant in Kathmandu and I’ve been coming back for years! The Chilli Paneer and Kothey momos are so so good!

I've been eating mo:mos for the last 10 days on my trip through nepal (annapurna circuit trekk and then different villages) but I had the chili garlic ones in here and they are the absolute best. Spice as you'd expect and you can even turn it up a notch by eating the actual chili from the plate. Service fast and good, would definitely go back again!!

Ordered pan fried momo, chili momo, buff thukpa, chicken fried rice, chili paneer and Everest beer. One of the best pan fried momos in Kathmandu! Crispy and juicy. Thukpa has flat noodles. Chili momo and chili paneer are flavourful.

Momo was good, take chili. The interior is very simple. Seems waiter was expecting 20% tips as 15 did make him upset( However for good and inexpensive food it is a good spot.

They served what was by far the best momos we had in Kathmandu. I really liked that the chili momos are actually spicy (whereas a lot of other places in Kathmandu will hold back on the chili).
