Visited this place for the first time and the hype was real. It has it's own charm. Foods are well presented and tasted good. We had BBQ pork and Tofu for starters which was really good. Food portioning/plating was spot on although the price is litttle bit on high side but worth every penny. Friendly service staffs who took good care of us and explained the food menu. Loved the ambience and vibes. Overall restaurant space is clean and charming. Would love to visit again and try more from their menu. Highly recommend 🙏

It is one of Kathmandu's most popular Korean eateries. The foods are exquisitely prepared and attractive! The prices are a little on the high side but the foods are good and delicious here though! The dish was presented nicely, and the quantity was adequate. Tasted great, and wouldn't let you down if you wanted to experience some true Korean cuisine. The atmosphere and ambience of the place is nice; they have outdoor as well as indoor seating with gas heater for winter season.

Great ambience and service. Liked the food but limited choices for vegetarians. Couldn't try hotpot 😔 The place is aesthetic with many small details taken care. Quite spacious and in prime location. A go to place if you want to try or love Korean food.

1st time: The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was exceptional during my visit to Nepal. I was impressed with the overall experience. 2nd time: I noticed there were fewer side items, which wasn't a big issue, but consistency is essential. 3rd time: Unfortunately, my third visit left me disappointed. There was no running water in the bathroom, and there seemed to be no alternatives provided. Considering the dusty and dirty conditions in Kathmandu, When I asked the staff about the water issue, they simply replied that there was no water without offering any solution. anddd the server taking our order was a bit odd. I ordered a sweet lassi, but she misunderstood and assumed I wanted a plain lassi. When I clarified that I wanted it sweet, she replied that she would mix it with sugar. The interaction felt uncomfortable as if the staff was not attentive to guests' preferences. Overall, while my first experience was amazing, the subsequent visits showed some inconsistencies and issues that need attention for a better customer experience.

Food is great! Loved the location. Would have loved it more if the staff explained what to and how to use the grill first because most of the customers like us may have no idea about it or its their first time to the place like this. Overall the food was great!!

The worst feeling ever is when you go to a restaurant with a grumbling stomach, and then you have to wait for food while feeling extremely hungry and impatient, turning blue and green. However, the best thing I liked about Hancook Sarang is that they serve unlimited starters until the main course arrives. This is great because it keeps you from feeling tired and worn out while you wait. The food at Hancook Sarang is really good, and I especially liked the portion sizes they serve. The atmosphere is also nice. Gahanapokhari itself is a cool and lively place, especially on summer evenings.

One of the best Korean restaurant in town! Must order: Original fried korean chicken, Gimbap, Pork Samgyupsal, tteobokki,Prawn tempura .. Note: Bibimbapp and Jajangmyeon wasnt that great. Quantity and quality of the food was good. Loved the service and the ambience.

I have tried more than 5 to 6 items and they weee all yum except for the noodles. Their hospitality is great so is the ambience . The place itself is huge and is beautiful so is the food. If you ever crave for Korean food or want to try Korean food for the first time then this place is must visit. Had a wonderful time there . Wish they will keep up❤️❤️

This is one of the most popular Korean restaurants in Kathmandu. The foods are fancy and photogenic! The prices are slightly high! The vibe is great. I loved the shrimp tempura! It was very crowded though.

The ambience is pleasant. The rainy 🌧️☔ season makes this place absolutely dreamy for dates! We were a group of friends who went out for a good Korean lunch. We tried Tofu Jorim, Kimchi fried rice 🍚, eggless gimbap, some type of noodles 🍜, and Bingsu which is a desert. For drinks we had chocolate milkshake 😋, a lemonade and a sweet-salty freshlime soda. Each table has a grill and an exhaust for it so that you can eat smoke-free. There is also an area where you can sit on the floor and have food, just like in the shows that I've seen. The open seating in the garden is also pleasant. The restaurant has a small pond waterwhich is just serene with many fishes swimming in it. 🐠 🐟 The noodles 🍜 weren't as good as I had expected because the gravy/sauce was bland and very wierd. Every other thing we tried, was good 👍🏻😊. The staff was slightly busy on the day we had gone, so, we had to call them multiple times to pay attention and also because the restaurant was buzzing. The service is otherwise, prompt and proper. I would recommend sitting in an area where there is adequate ventilation either by a fan or natural as well. I would give this place a 3.5/5 stars ⭐✨

I had a previous bad experience at Hankook Sarang, where the taste of the food was horrible. However, I decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised. The experience this time was much better, and the taste of the food was actually good. I appreciate that the restaurant was able to turn my negative experience into a positive one. The service was also good and the staff was friendly. While my previous experience was disappointing, I would now recommend Hankook Sarang to others based on my most recent visit.

Absolutely better than Dokdo sarang. Food , service also not slow and nice. But too humid and hot due to NO AC. There are Fen but too noisy. Nice place to dating and meeting .

Restaurant is well crafted and looks Korean enough. Gimbap we tried was a bit dry. Rest of the dishes were ok. During hot summer days proper Air-conditioned system is recommended.

I am coming her for the first time and I liked the service however I have had better Korean food than this.

Tbh, the food used to be so much better before. Just because of the food, i would have rated it 3.5 but the whole experience was ruined by their inadequate parking management. The only answer we got was this is the usual case during the weekends. So are we supposed to leave our vehicle to come here during the weekends? All they had to do was assign a guard or a personnel who can drive so that they could rearrange the vehicles. We had to wait 35 minutes to get our car and my husband had to rearrange 3 cars himself. At that time, I was angry at other customers as they could have come helped in moving their own cars. But now I think it's restaurant's responsibility because all customers leave their car keys with the guard. What was the point of that? This ruined my entire night because we were already late for our Saturday football match too. Well we had some Bibimbap, pig trotters, subak soju (couldn't tell if it was cocktail or mocktail), gimbap and some tempuras.

The reason i gave Hankook Sarang 5 stars is that their service was really good. The best thing about Tangal Hangook is the decor and ambience. The food was good, i was with my friends so we dined outdoors. If you are with your friends or family i recommend the outdoor space with the view of the zen garden.

One of the best places for Korean food in K-town. You will find a hard time in finding a table during Friday evenings. The food is good with value for money. The service is good but they often forget your orders when they are overwhelmed with customers. Do check your bill as they sometimes charge you for items you haven't ordered during busy hours.

We ate at this place on multiple occasions. Every time we received incredible service, and the food was delicious. The waiters know when to refill the side dishes, and which to refill. For a different taste and best korean food in town would like to recommend this. Kimchi fried rice,korean fried chicken,shrimp is so good here. You can plan for a perfect family dinner at evening to this place and make it memorable.

I loved the vibes of this place as well as the friendly attitude of the staff. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was fast as well. The restaurant itself is in a rather quiet area even though it is located in the heart of the city... This, to me, was a pleasantly surprising feature of the restaurant. Definitely the go to place for Korean food. 4 stars because there is always room for a little improvement and growth... I'd be very happy if I visit them later and realize that they have outdone themselves.

The atmosphere and the sitting arrangements were great. Liked the decorations and the layout as well. Food was okay as it wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary as well. What wasn't up to standard was the service. As we reached the place we were nicely greeted by the staffs, we were asked how many of us were there. After the greeting they took the order and brought some complimentary goods as well. They put some glasses for water, all the order came but water never did. Yup we did remind one of the staff as well but nope it didn't work. We asked for the bill and it was quite late as well but the good thing is water came in it No No Not with the bill but in the bill. The water thst never came was included in the bill.
