I recently stayed at a hotel with exceptional service and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. The attention to detail was impressive - my room was immaculate, with luxurious amenities and a comfortable bed. The hotel's restaurant also exceeded my expectations with delicious food and excellent service. What really stood out to me was the personalized service. The staff remembered my name and preferences, and were always available to help with any requests or recommendations. It truly made me feel like a valued guest. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch experience with exceptional service. It exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to come back again.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was decent. However we felt disappointed by the staff’s lack of enthusiasm in providing us help. They refused to provide us an extra mattress for the room while stating that one wasn’t available. I struggled to believe that a massive hotel like marriot did not have any spare mattresses. It was a nightmare to get baby food prepared at the restaurant and the chef struggled to understand my request everyday. Due to an emergency, I was in desperate need of a sanitary napkin. I was unable to leave the hotel alone because of my toddler. When I contacted the room service, they refused to provide it. They sent a cleaning wipe to my room, saying that’s the best they could do!! I requested them to buy the sanitary napkin from shop and offered to pay any costs incurred, but they refused to help completely. Staff here certainly need better training in speaking with customers and managing issues. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, specially if you are travelling with young children.

The Kathmandu Marriott is a lovely property - the staff are truly top notch. Everyone is welcoming. The restaurant staff at breakfast remember your coffee order and other small details. The room was lovely - clean, modern, with a nice view and a wonderful soaking tub. There was a real attention to detail and personal touches, such as notes from the cleaning staff, throughout my stay. Location-wise, it is very convenient to walk to Thamel and other areas of the city. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you, Kathmandu Marriott team!

I have stayed in this particular Marriott several times. On this occasion it was for a special event and I paid the additional cost for a club room, which comes with club access to the business lounge. I used the club twice to entertain guests for my book launch. Unfortunately the Manager of the club lounge ruined my entire experience by openly debating with me in front of other guests if I was allowed in the lounge. To which I replied “yes I have paid for the privilege” in fact my room card when swiped grants access. Given it was happy hour, I ordered two beverages and was told again in from of other guests I would have to pay for my guest in a very arrogant and rude manor. Rather than ask if he could speak to me privately away from others. He made a scene and embarrassed me. This happens on the second time I tried again to relax in the lounge. When filing a complaint and asking for a refund of the club access costs, the General Manager simply didn’t care. The summary is, this hotel over the years has become arrogant and only wants to service the big corporate guests or American Embassy staff who use the hotel frequently. Individuals like me are not valued. It’s the worst stay and worst treatment I have ever encountered in a Marriott hotel. I will never given them my business again. Sorry, but all guests deserve professional respect.

As an American I have travelled all over the world and this Marriott property is in the top 5. If you are on the fence book now and you won’t be disappointed. I can tell that this hotel is managed very well. The biggest thing that stands out is the staff/ team members - everyone was really friendly and helpful, most staff would come up to you and have good conversations about your day. I like how new the hotel was and all of the modern touches. The food here was a huge plus because you can get variety and the quality is very high. Drinking water was plentiful and always stocked in your room. I loved the view from your room. The room was large and comfortable and everything smelled good and new. I really enjoyed the awesome GYM each morning as it had everything you needed for a great workout whether you are doing cardio or free weights. Thank you for all the hard work that go’s into maintaining a high quality standard that makes the difference!

Kathmandu Marriott Hotel was an amazing place to stay as the rates are also affordable. The view from Marriott Club is awesome. The night view can be seen from above. The entry area is lavish and executive lounge offers free drinks and food to one who stays.

It's a beautiful place with very good service and the rooms are spacious too. I would recommend the dinner buffet, which is around 2000 per person. There is a wide variety of items to choose from. We would definitely visit again.

Nice place. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from the reception staff who were eager to assist with my check-in. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful modern decor and luxurious amenities throughout. My room was spacious and immaculate, with a comfortable bed, plush linens, and a stunning view of the city. The bathroom was equally impressive, with high-end fixtures and a beautiful marble shower. One of the standout features of this hotel is the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Whether it was the concierge who provided excellent restaurant recommendations or the housekeeping staff who kept my room impeccably clean, everyone was top-notch. The hotel also boasts fantastic amenities, including a fitness center, spa, and rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the city. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the convenience of the hotel's central location. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The combination of beautiful decor, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities make it a truly unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

One of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff was very professional, helpful, friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet was amazing with tons of great food and delicious. The indoor and outdoor seating area is wonderful to just sit and relax watching the blue skies and the rain falls. The room was in very high level ending and more than comfortable. It's was more than enough to just lay down on the bed and enjoy watching the views from your room window. You have small bar area in your room with plenty of variety selections of snacks and drinks. It was an amazing experience and for sure I recommend it and will visit you again. 10K star's and keep it up

Amazing hotel in Kathmandu!! Stayed here after hiking to Everest base camp - perfectly relaxing after that trek! Sonic, one of the servers in the M suite, was so fun and made our happy hours a blast! Recommend upgrading your suite to get the happy hour and breakfast - well worth it!

A truly amazing hotel with fabulous staff and service. Though it is expensive it does give travelers an opportunity for a reset. The lobby space and courtyard are also great to places to work- WiFi was sufficient. Coffee served was also good and the buffet breakfast has a good and quality selection of foods.

The staff at this property are the most gracious, kind, welcoming individuals. They really make your stay wonderful. Thank you Moj and the entire staff. The views from the lounge are spectacular for sunrise and sunset viewing and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. The rooms are luxurious and the gym is wonderful. Thank you for making our honeymoon a wonderful experience.

I was really interested in visiting the hotel/casino. Upon my arrival I was denied entry because I was wearing crocs. I asked where was it stated I cannot wear crocs? They told me it was a secret rule. The security staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. They even lied to me and asked me to speak to one of the Marriott staff members but then changed their story once the staff arrived. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely rude and arrogant, lying staff. I will be contacting headquarters.

One of the best Marriott hotels I've ever stayed in. I spent a little over 8 hours there - between landing in Kathmandu and heading to another location. The room was wonderful and comfortable after a very long travel day. I got breakfast in the lounge and had some of the best service ever. Moj took care of me, serving me coffee, made to order dosa and also giving me advice about my itinerary. It felt very personal and cozy, despite being a very short stay. I'm glad I booked this over other options.

What a fantastic stay at the Kathmandu Marriott. The food was delicious, the staff was amicable, and the rooms were comfortable. They have great packages for elite guests with complimentary airport pick up and drop off, two pieces of laundry, and M Club Lounge Access. The M class staff was terrific. The banquet staff was outstanding too. They had very excellent facilities, including several restaurants on the property. My only two recommendations are to save suites for elite guests. There were no suites available during my entire five-night stay. Being a Lifetime Titanium Elite member, I am almost always guaranteed a suite upgrade, even before check-in. The other is to have a club team or elite services guest email before arrival. That way, arrangements, and requests can be made

My wife and I stayed at the Kathmandu Marriott in early May for a long weekend. The staff and service was fantastic - they remembered us, our names, food preferences, etc. throughout our stay, which really gave us a positive experience. The restaurant options at the hotel were great and had a wide variety of local and international dishes, so we were never hungry. The concierge was also able to help us set up local tours and transportation around Kathmandu at affordable rates. The location is not necessarily easily walkable, but it's close enough for it to be a short drive to most major things in Kathmandu. Would definitely stay there again.

good variety of foods catered in the buffet, including Indian, Nepali, Turkish and Asian. Beautiful building inside and outside with a modern feel with splashes of Nepali touches. Staff were very attentive, kids loved the Turkish Ice cream act.

Really great stay at the hotel. The room was nice and so was the club on the 10th floor with a very attentive staff. I must mention that I had accidentally dropped my Tom Ford dark glasses and got them back as someone had found and they were with the “lost and found” section. Thanks. However the hotel doesn’t have any concierge!!! Wow!!!

Our stay at the Marriott was enhanced with the exceptional service and attention to details in every aspect of the hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel valued, and anything we needed was promptly taken care of. The Raksi Music bar serves great cocktails, and the M Club Lounge served up incredible breakfasts each day and hosted a wonderful happy hour each evening with both food and drinks. The trip to Nepal was amazing, and the stay at the Marriott was truly a memorable experience.

Talking about the exprience, the food was top notch, everything was freshly made and served. The desserts were the finest and to be specific the florida pastry, the taste it was shockingly so good. The ambience was perfect. Only one thing that I happened to dislike about the hotel was the staff who were very eager to move our tables right after the closing ceremony of our event. Some were rude enough to move tables even when the guests were Still eating. Besides this, everything was superb.

A very good hotel at an international 5-star standard. Well-appointed and spacious rooms. A well designed establishment with a comprehensive range of facilities. M Club lounge on the 10th floor provides nice panoramic views of Kathmandu. Most of all, the service staff are excellent across board. Professional while exuding the warmth and hospitality of the Nepalese people.

We stayed for several nights in October 2022. The Marriott Bonvoy hotels are really special and this one did not disappoint, From our beautiful room, to the excellent customer service trained staff. The food was also exceptional at both restaurants and such great breakfasts. Love this property.

I would definitely recommend a stay at the Marriott Kathmandu for those visiting the city, either on leisure or business, to experience true Nepalese hospitality! We had booked the Executive Suite for our stay and the room was very spacious and comfortable for our family of three adults and one child. This room also gave us access to the Executive Lounge, which could be accessed 24*7 for F&B. The food served at Thamel Kitchen for breakfast and dinner was splendid, with a vast spread and variety of dishes that we enjoyed. Most importantly, everyone working at the hotel made us feel very comfortable and the hospitality extended was in line with what one would expect at a Marriott property. A special shout out to Prazwal and Ashmita who were beyond excellent! Will definitely return when in Kathmandu again!

Good option at an affordable price. The rooms are nice and clean. Our family had a lovely stay at Hotel Seven Star. The service was superb, the grounds are secure and beautifully manicured. Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The spa is amazing and the gym the the best hotel gym I've ever seen. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of foods, both western and local dishes. The staff were attentive and amazing as well. Stayed here for 2 days before EBC and 3 days after. The service is excellent and I ate at all the restaurants. I loved it here!

Excellent rooms for a couple and upto two kids (<10 yrs), easy 10-15 mins walk from Darbar Road, excellent breakfast buffet, gym is well equipped, a top quality deltin casino is integrated with the hotel, North Indian food is as good as the best possible restaurants in Delhi so overall an excellent package representing the best of hospitality and food. The only opportunity is limited variety and hours on the top floor lounge for club members (no single malts, hrs of liquor service are 5-8pm).

Few reasons for choosing it - - Property is new - View from the hotel is amazing - Near Thamel District - Staff is very nice - Breakfast menu has a lof of variety - Casino is new and much better - And personal fav, their coffee, the best I had across Nepal. In my next visit, will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed in the Marriott hotel in Kathmandu. I found that the service far exceeded my expectations. My room was very comfortable and had a great view of Kathmandu and the surrounding mountains. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. In all the restaurants and bars that I used, the service was wonderful - all the staff, including Sandip in the lobby restaurant, were lovely - they made me feel really special, remembering my name and what I liked to drink etc - on my last day at the hotel - I was given complementary desserts to give me good luck for my trip home! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - it was a really wonderful experience all round

Heartening to see Marriott is moving to a sustainable future , reflected from amenities and placements in room, been a while I stayed at Marriott property. Limited plastic options , and stress on water conservation ,also waste water is utilized in cisterns. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of healthy options and great bakery options , very switched on and courteous staff , also the hotel is right in middle of shopping center.

We had a wonderful two stays at the Kathmandu Marriott! The staff are lovely, and the rooms are extremely comfortable, well appointed, and have great views of the city. We stayed on the club floor which is totally worth it - the lounge has a fantastic breakfast, and they have snacks throughout the day with a nice happy hour spread. We were sad to leave! Beds are comfortable, shower has great water pressure, and the rooms are very clean. The on-site restaurant, edamame, is great, as is the spa. The prices are affordable and the service is top-notch. Saru and Rama at the spa were fantastic. This Marriott is truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Can’t recommend it enough!

The experience was awesome! Not like the other visits in KTM. The rooms are quite soothing for staying couple of nights. Breakfast personal touch made me really satisfied. The staff are from other planet or perhaps from Japan, if it is from ours - so well behaved and polite. Management is really noticeable. The grand ball room was awesome, state of the art, very new breed. Will definitely come again if I stay at KTM again.

Wow! Great staff; great check-in and out. Excellent hotel. Rooms are very clean; shower and bath are wonderful. All the pictures on the site are accurate! Good location. Food is great - breakfast, lunch and supper! Really happy we stayed here. Would stay here again.
