Worse experience ever paid like 2150 nrs. Bed sheet was so dirty ,ac not working tv not working could not sleep coz its located near busy road. Waste of money and time. You can get beautiful rooms on the same price somewhere else please dont waste money going over here.

Really worst experience at this hotel, the staff doesn’t know what is the meaning of hospitality and online booking and it’s confirmation. They were telling us you booked room in OYO, ask room to OYO not with us. We don’t have room in our hotel for you, though we had confirmation number. Week we reached hotel a lady at the reception asked us to sit at the lobby for while, after several time I asked what’s going on and she informed me that a group is coming at the hotel than she will decide we could have room or not it was almost 7:30 pm and I told her give us our room which we booked in OYO and she told us she doesn’t know anything about that booking and don’t care about OYO 🙄🙄🙄. She was offering us a low standard room and trying to charge higher than our booked room and she was telling us she is doing a huge favour to us .

Not recommended. DID NOT GET A WORKING WIFI IN A BUSINESS TRIP. I enquired about it for three times in the reception and but they didn't bother to look into it. I had to use mobile data plan for my work.I did not need any other services really. The tv did not work either. The price did not justify the stay and during the check-out the same staff member had the audacity to ask for a good review after such a bad experience. So I would like to have a benefit of doubt about other reviews for this place.

It was a pleasant stay in Kathmandu embassy hotel. Rooms were very hygienic and very high speed WiFi was available.

I've been there several times.The stuff is very very friendly and caring and helpful. I like the rooms, even if not everything sparkles with cleanliness. For me, the friendlyness is more important there. Breakfast.....mmmhhhhh. the best! Next year I will come back.

This is the worst hotel i have ever visited in my life. OYO should remove this hotel from its list.

Quite dirty place, when we stayed first time towels and bed sheets were not clean. Second time we needed to ask and they provided fresh linens. But you shouldn't ask for it. Staff is nice and friendly. PS. It doesn't look like on pictures provided by hotel :/

Too good musy say.. Cheap+ hospitality+ humbleness of staff.. Anyone reading the review,just go for it.Honestly the best i have stayed in ktm at a low budget. Find the direction to hotel by maps and take a stay.. do not go by oyo. The prices are slightly higher as compared to when you reach them directly for room.. Great/Awesome

October 2022 It's now almost 3 years since I wrote the review below - I'm back yet again staying in my favourite Kathmandu Hotel. Covid has made life really difficult for all of my Nepali friends, but even with all if the hardships suffered because of the lack of tourists, smiles still around 😁😁😁 The hotel Wi-Fi has been updated, breakfasts are as good as ever, ample hot water available 24/7 and the rooms still offer great value for money. ****************************************** December 2019. I am back again staying at my favourite hotel in Kathmandu. The Wi-Fi is excellent and very reliable, the hotel has 4 routers serving all bedrooms and public areas - I can only asume that the reviewer having problems either had a faulty device or was typing in an incorrect code. Great Good prepared by Soraz served in thr rooftop restaurant. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms and hot showers. Airport pick ups by arrangement.

Hotel is situated in a very good place , stay is so far good but water facility is not good also you cannot expect much in breakfast not more than bread and coffee.. Towels are dirty and no hot water

This hotel is very clean. Staff is amazingly helpful and nice. Rooms are big. Food is great. Owner on premises to make sure all things are run smoothly. Very peaceful and quiet here. I definitely give this hotel 5 stars. I will stay again when I return in December. Thank you Kathmandu Embassy Hotel. Was a pleasure being here a month. Services was amazing. Godbless you.
