Nice peaceful family run hostel close to thamel. Good accommodation with beautiful rooftop, mesmerising view of monkey temple.. cool ambience with good hygienic food.

We had a very comfortable stay here. We stayed in private bedroom with shared bathroom. The mattress was good as the hot shower and the place is very clean. We stayed there in different moments, in 4 different bedrooms, not always the plug ins were working or had the flat pins available. Had to charge in the common area. The breakfast is just awesome, even more considering it’s included in the price! The common area in the rooftop is nice, with a relaxing hammock and perfect to meet other people. Also has a great view over Kathmandu. There are tables if you need a proper space to work on your computer. WiFi is not that reliable but that’s basically all around Nepal. It’s very well located in a quiet street away from the hassle, but still just 5 to 10 Min walk to Thamel nevralgic streets. The only downside is the owner’s weird fluctuating humor, sometimes very friendly, sometimes ignoring us.

Really great place! Would highly recommend. 5 minute walk to the craziness of Thamel, very chill common area to hang out in, Amazing view of Kathmandu from the roof. The family is Also very nice and provide delicious breakfast. Great value for the money!

The Nepali Hive is a nice place to stay if you're looking for a quiet and confortable environment. It's located in the edge of Thamel but still close to it. They got different type of room depending on your needs (private or dormitory). I slept in the dorm and it was quite confortable, with a big room (5 bunk bed) so you don't feel packed. The lower beds got curtains which is appreciated. They also got a nice rooftop with many place to hang out and a great view of Kathmandu. What I didn't like was the price of a bed was changing from one time to another and there was something a little bit off with the owner (moods swing)

Very nice place ! Breakfast is awesome price reasonable and close to the tourist area. Sometime the man is a little bit grumpy.

It's budget hotel which is trend now in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other places of Nepal. If you have limited budget or want to stay longer in KTM, you can check in here.

A great spot in Kathmandu and not one to be missed. You'll have a great time here if you engage and get to know the people. Prem is an absolute legend.

Thank you Prem for your hospitality) House vibe is amazing, people staying there are creative and kind. Internet speed was better than previous hotel, hot water also available, nice dogs, cozy chill zone in rooftop. Aww, will miss this place 🙌
