Fantastic hotel at a great price! We stayed here for two nights and we were so pleased and even surprised at what great value this place offered. The service was impeccable from the moment we got there, free breakfast with a great range (daily changes too!), room was 5 star quality, clean and modern with AC and satellite TV. Really nice rooftop terrace as well. For about $25 a night, this place ticked all the boxes.

Good value. The staff is courteous and attentive and took care of whatever we needed. Clean and newer hotel. Breakfast is an option and is good for a quick bite before heading out for the day. The hotel has a small but nice rooftop bar with some pretty good cocktails.

My fiance and I arrived in Nepal December 5th so at the time of this writing we have been here for almost 2 months. We have stayed at numerous hotels, hostels, and resorts. Hotel M has blow every single one out of the water! This is certainly a luxury experience and we are thrilled for the buffet breakfast in the morning. Monty is a wonderful man as well!!!

Good place and amazing service. Have yo come back in a few months and I'm choosing this hotel again definitely. The shower works perfectly and the rooms are fresh and clean. Air conditioner working well and breakfast varies every day and has a very good standard. The restaurant has very good food and cheaper than restaurants in the area.

We had a good time in M Hotel last year. The hotel is located in a small, quite street in Thamel. Our room was big and clean, also the bathroom. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. Every extra request was made possible for us as well as possible. Our trip to Nepal was not very nice but we at least had a good retreat in M Hotel.

We had an amazing stay at M hotel. The staff went above and beyond the whole time we were there and always had a smile on their face. It makes such a difference to your experience and they are a credit to the place. The room was spotlessly clean and the TV has plenty of channels. The shower was amazing and the included breakfast was pretty good too. The only small downsides being the food at breakfast normally runs out before the end and there were a few power cuts whilst we were there (but they didn't last long). One of the best value hotels I've ever stayed in.

While not in a bad location it was annoying that the address was wrong on every map and not a single driver knew where it was. When we called the hotel for airport pickup we couldn’t get us a driver “because the driver wasn’t feeling well” and getting one at the airport was not any fun at all. There was a little bit of feces left in the toilet bowl and some hairs around the bathroom. The shower wouldn’t drain and flooded the entire bathroom within 60-120 seconds at half stream. The WiFi was non existent for really loading anything. It was honestly the loudest room I’ve ever stayed in my entire life. 99 countries so far traveled so that’s impressive. The staff were always banging something or dragging chairs and tables at literally all times of the day and night. Kept us up till 1:30-2am and woke us up at around 6:30-7am BOTH days. The housekeeping was also very loud laughing and dragging their feet and slamming doors very hard from very early in the morning. We called to arrange a cab one night and the man who picked up at the front desk just decided to hang up mid call because he was over it. The bed was exceptionally hard and my wife got a bruise because it was like sleeping on the floor. Overall I would not recommend anyone stay here. We ended up checking out and moving to Marriott which was perfect.

Amazing! Clean, friendly staff and very COVID-19 safe. I had my 3 day business trip to KTM well spent here at M Hotel Kathmandu.

Great location and friendly service. However, the room did not have good insulation so we could hear everything outside. The shower pressure was too low as well. We experienced approx. 10 blackouts while we were there for 3 nights. I'm assuming this is normal from the electrical lines you can see on the streets.

Great hotel stayed here many many times, the street is a bit receded in Thamel thus less noisy and next to a good korean restaurant and perfect cup coffee great for breakfast

The staff at the M Hotel make it a really lovely stay. Ashok and Mr Kumar were particularly kind and helpful. They really looked after me for my stay in Kathmandu. There are many things that can go wrong in a city like Kathmandu such as power and water shortages, disrespectful guests etc If there were any issues, the staff leapt at the chance to solve the problems. I was treated like a 5 star guest so this gets a 5 star review from me. The M Hotel is also really close to all of the shops and restaurants and is much quieter than some of the other hotels which I really liked. The food is also very nice, they have a good chef. I highly recommend staying here, you will be throughly looked after and the staff deserve the nicest guests :)
