Nice hotels to stay in Katmandu Nepal

The owner of the hotel/hostel Yuvraj is gem of a person. We stayed at shared dorms. There were 4 bunk beds in one room nicely separated. Each having own charging slots and reading light. The bathroom was shared, good wifi. There are individual room available too. You can sit roof top for a breakfast (Indian available too, aaloo paratha)

Second Day in Kathmandu Nepal 🇳🇵 I booked dorms at Mountain Backpackers Hostel which is cost me 150rs/per day. 24hrs hot water available. Located at Thamel street in front of LOD club🤩 LOD is very famous night club at Thamel street and very much secure. I’m strongly recommend this club. Entry fees 650rs There are lots of dance bars available in this street but 95% you will end up with bad experience. Pls don’t try dance bar at it by any name. Food ~ veg thali 120rs(unlimited), aluparotha 40rs one, Tea 12rs, Sim card ~ I bought Ncell SIM card in 200rs. Sim includes 85rs talk time balance, 1.5gp data balance. My frd bought Same SIM card with same package but he spent 500rs. Because he bought in Thamel street. Everything expensive in Thamel street but next to parallel of this street is less expensive. Pls be in aware. Just roamed around the street and gathered information for nearby place visit in budget way. I used share auto to go everywhere which is only 20 Nepal currency. Nice , staff are helpful , I took a dormetry room here worth NRS 250/day , stay here for two nights , they provide blanket so no need to take it with you. They also help me to change the INR TO NRS & TAKES % Indian RS extra as a charge for this change . Clean place.

not good service . just many bag packers in thamel. i suppose to go other but i fount this one . next day I went right one which is recommended was really good. please stop to copy name to make confuse guest.

Very noisy place because of clubs around. Toilet flush doesn't work. Overall not a great experience.

Cheap, but horrible! Rooms were too loud and noisy. Restrooms had frequent water leakages. Not recommended at all!

It was cheap, that is the only good thing to be said about it. Not very clean and not a place for backpackers at all, I shared my room with business travelling Indians...They were loud, put the lights on in the middle of the night and never slept before 12pm, thus I could not sleep because they were using their smartphones without headphones... I know that this is not the fault of the staff but if you are a Backpacker do not go to this place, it is not worth the price...

It's good place to stay for solo and families and friends..

Amazing place. Freindly and welcoming host. Nice rooftop restaraunt which serves delicious food. Central location in Thamel and amazing environment. Looking forward to visit again.😀😀

Pathetic place. Very bad experience. No water in the washrooms. Room is very small and dirty.

The rooms are loud and not very private or secure. Additionally we booked services through this hostel and they over charged us (even after we talked them down in price) and charged us for servies that should have been complementary (acording to people who booked through other venues). I was very disapointed and will not use their services next time I'm in Nepal.

We booked at another place, more calme, but that was full when we arrive (overbooking ?). So we were bought at the mountain backpackers hostel, without so much choice. The guy said it would be the same price. He gave us a room on the street, on the 1st floor. In front of the entrance of the a discothèque, it was noisy. We asked for another room, he clearly was lasy to change. He was not nice at all. And at the end, it was a bit more expansive. So don't recommend. Anyway, for 1 night, the room and the bed are good
