The hotel gives you a feel that you are living in a palace since the hotel has very well preserved and maintained all the palace infra Friendly and professional staff, amazing rooms with breathtaking mountain View, outside sitting area, all the required room facilities, the place is just perfect for a luxurious experience.

High standards maintained even during low-tourism days. Boutique vs. chain hotel on full display. Good food too, but on the mildly expensive side. Nice spacious rooms. We got low rates due to low-tourism timings. Everybody does look at you hoping for a tip, but I guess that can't be helped. Everybody is quite helpful too.

Love the Maya Manor most amongst three hotels of KGH group that I stayed in this trip. The designs, decorations, exhibits, service, etc. and food were great. Many more electricity plug-in than other two hotels. The guard security guy was the best hotel security guy that I've meet which was so nice, enthusiastic, energetic, and super helpful. The guys served in the restaurants were also great. Just a bit confusing with some receptionist about check-out time but the rest was perfect. Recommend!

Great hotel not far from the centre of Kathmandu. The service is top-notch and authentically friendly. The buffet food selection is quite good. The gym is small but has nice glass windows to make it feel like the small space is not a problem. The whole place has a nice antique touch to it.

Beautiful property in the heart of Kathmandu. Easy access to the shopping areas of Thamel and Durbar marg. This boutique hotel looks quaint with its nice facade, the room is neat and clean including washroom. The toiletterie is good. Though the lane entering to the hotel is narrow the property as such passes a good star hotel category minus the swimming pool. The breakfast is a delight and the food variety passes muster. They also have a small gym in the third floor which is enough for a relaxing workouts. The highlight is on each floor they have a balcony sort of view from which we can enjoy the surrounding mountains of Nepal. Overall, a satisfying stay and highly recommended.

This is an incredible hotel that used to be the Chinese Embassy. It is full of beautiful spaces and antiques. The fantastic staff make staying here a joy.

Amazing outdoor seating with hanging lights and as you enter inside, you will see paintings and collection of antiques as you reach the lobby. There is also a 3D buddha on the way to the lobby. The food was great and fresh. Very friendly staff and well maintained overall.

I had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful hotel for a week. This was easily the best hotel where I stayed in my visits to 17 countries so far. Hotels like human beings are not perfect. Every hotel has its own strengths and weaknesses. But Maya Manor was exceptional. The staff was extremely courteous. The food, ambience, service was all top class. This is rarity since one always tends to find something negative in every hotel. My advice to the hotel authorities is to please keep up the good work. Please continue to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall ambience. It was a pleasure staying with you from Nov 16 through Nov 22nd '23.

I did not stay, but my Business Partner did. But I did have meals there. Nice food. Great architecture, good staff. Close to shopping and business areas. No view , hemmed in by other buildings.

I really liked the Maya Manor Hotel. The room was crystal clean and all the staff are absolutely lovely. Special shout out to Pramila, one of the staff, uber kind, helpful, remembered my name and the security officer who warmly greeted me everytime I entered the hotel. The hotel has certainly set some high standards for me. The only thing I would recommend is to diversify the breakfast spread for vegetarians. Everything else was perfect!

Well stay was OK but not excellent, The Boutique is picturesque and exotic. The artifacts at the Boutique shows the greatness of the founder and his love and dedication Blah blah,,, Awesome!!!, well hospitality was mediocre, and food was like ,,,,,,,,, i would rate a michelin...half star.....

High service hotel in heritage place. Nice staff, good food, clean rooms and many historical exponents. Like in a museum. Location is also good- 10 minutes from Thamel by walk, 5 minutes from Royal palace. I love this hotel and stay here very often.

An absolute gem! The hotel's location is perfect – nestled in a prime spot with easy access to attractions. Impeccably clean rooms that offer comfort and relaxation. The staff's warmth and readiness to assist truly elevate the stay. Oh, and the food? Simply amazing! A delightful experience from start to finish.

Great food, great service. Location is good in terms of market and King's palace. Not close to temple. And also, it is inside a small pathway.

The hotel is located in a posh area close to Thamel market (10 minutes walk) and other shopping malls and market having branded outlets. The service is excellent and everyone including the watchmen, staff at reception desk, housekeeping and restaurant were amazing with their warm hospitality. I highly recommend staying here.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Maya Manor Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu for a 3-day training, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of its food, ambience, and overall hospitality. One of the standout features of the hotel was the incredible food. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, and each one was prepared to perfection. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I found myself eagerly looking forward to every meal. The highlight was the tea session in between, where the masala tea was simply unforgettable. The ambience of the boutique hotel was equally impressive. Housed in an old Rana durbar that was later renovated by the KGH group, it successfully blended modern facilities with the charm of its historic past. The hotel managed to preserve the grandeur of the old durbar while providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Located in the heart of the city in Hattisar, Kathmandu, the hotel's central location made it convenient for travel and exploration. Whether it was visiting nearby attractions or attending meetings, I found it incredibly easy to navigate the city from the hotel's prime location. Overall, Maya Manor Boutique Hotel by KGH group is a perfect choice for those seeking a comfortable and memorable stay in Kathmandu.Whether it's for a night's stay or hosting trainings, the hotel offers a delightful experience with its excellent food, charming ambience, and convenient location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Super nice hotel! Definitely the best one! We had stayed two nights at the first then we came back to stay two more nights before flying back home. Everything was perfect. Me and my husband would surely choose it again next time we visit Kathmandu. Great location, great service, friendly staff, Breakfast was delicious, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Many thanks to Mr. Suchil for his support and help, He walk an extra miles to assure our stay in the the other KGH hotels (Water front And Himalayan front resorts) is the best ever as promised! Well done 👍🏻 As well as many thanks to Mr. Ramesh and all Himalayan front resort team members for their great hospitality and the warmest welcome! 😊 Thank you!"

Visited a couple of days ago for a Team Dinner. The ambience was super nice with outside sitting arrangements. Very well decorated. You will love it if you like the low light ambience. Food Items are okay nothing to mention much. Disappointed in service. There was a big tourist group and all the attention from service was given to them. It was really disheartening and on top of that they continuously refused to give us more options on food and the preparation time was min. 45 minutes for any items we ordered. Choice of dishes was limited.

Absolutely amazing experience. The stay experience and the helping & kind nature of staff from reception, housekeepers & gate keeper made me write this review. One of the finest hotels that I have visited. More hygienic & spacious than the other hotels that I visited later on of the same price segment. KGH Group is keeping the bar high. 💯

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very comfortable and quiet, the staff were always polite, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was very nice. It is within walking distance to the Thamel area and other attractions and a nice rooftop terrace. There is also interesting history about the building on the walls, a small gym and a sauna/spa massage area (I didn’t use these so can’t comment on the quality of them).

A boutique hotel with a colonial fee to its architecture . Rooms are size was sufficient with aplenty fun rushing and good and clean bathrooms with bath tub along with a window slit transparent towards the bed so as to watch to while having a dip in the tub. Food offered contains local Nepali cuisine , Continental , English , Indian , Italian , Chinese etc . Had ordered some Pasta along with fruit platter . Was satisfied with the preparations and taste also . All in all a good stay in moderate budget and quite nearby to the main durbar square as well as the Thamel area market of KTM. Had asked for a airport pickup but unfortunately they did not send the airport drop had to manage taxi via Pathao . Costs around 400 in Nepali . Recommended for short stays and anyone who wishes to stay in the shopping centre area of the city .
