Ambiance is ok. Decoration is awesome. Location is good. Roof balcony is nice. But the rooms are really small, and bed is little and not confortable. Room is noisy and humid. They clean daily, but somehow it feels dirty anyway. The staff isn't trustworthy, they are not there to help you but instead, they will try to charge you extra for anything you ask (laundry, taxi, bus, etc) Overall price for the room is high for what you get for. It has good potential, because the decoration is really awesome, but we did not like the staff treat us only like money bags. Come on... we have already paid you enough money for the little room, no need to try to get little extra income, it does not feel great. I would even pay little bit more for the room if they were willing to help instead of charging you extra for every little service.

I stayed here because it was chosen by my group as the starting point of a 2 wk retreat nearby. The family who won this place are incredible. I can’t tell you how much they helped me with various things going out of their way and above and beyond even a 5* hotel. Also made a lot of time chatting to me educating me on Nepalese culture and history. I left my luggage twice with them. Very trustworthy. They even brought an organic avocado from their home for me when I mentioned I loved them! The place has beautiful antiques everywhere and the location is so close to everything you need. Perhaps the restaurants nearby are even better and cheaper as not in the centre of the busy (& noisy) hub. Be sure to check out the excellent value thangkas they have. Fab coffee a few doors down. Great Chinese & Tibetan food (it’s in Chinatown). The Seeing Hands blind massage was the best place and 2mins walk. Great value and probably the best hospitality I will ever encounter. Thank you to Brokas & Mahesh. I wish you and your family all the best!

We had a lovely experience at the Pavilion Inn. Mahess was very helpful, my favourite feature of our stay is the artwork displayed all over the hotel, it's so beautiful! You can hear the hussle and bustle from the street at night but it's a busy area so I wasn't surprised. We got upgraded to a room with an AC which was lovely. Thank you for the stay Pavilion Inn 🙏

Owner was very friendly and helpful! Needed help finding some spices and booking transport, and he took initiative to help us! Highly recommended, location is great too - walkable distance from Thamel Square and Dubar Square. Good food and safe area to walk! Super friendly and safe location. Again, highly recommended. Owner has become our friend :)

We stayed for a couple of nights at this hotel, family suite. People are nice, and it feels like home, but the room is small, dusty, and the bathtub can't be used. We think this room is way overpriced for what you get.

We had a such a nice stay at the inn! The staff was very helpful, the manager was so nice! The rooms were very clean and the location of the inn was perfect since it's in the heart of thamel! Everything was easily accessible!

The best place to stay in Kathmandu regarding service and position. The owners are the best people you can meet, available for any request and ready to help during your visit. The owner gave me suggestions for visiting, restaurants, Sim cards and he was also available to change our plans for my desires. The room was very clean, silent even if very well located in the city center (Thamel). I strongly recommend it to all.

We stayed at Nepal Pavilion Inn for 5 nights in March 2022. It is a nice, extremely well-decorated hotel located in the Thamel area. The highlight of this hotel is its staff. Mr. Mahesh from the front desk and Mr. Prakash were very friendly, courteous and respectful. We received a lot of help from them in terms of itinerary guidance, cabs etc. If you want a peaceful stay in Kathmandu city-center then this is absolutely the best option. The rooms are neat and clean, the food is good and the antique decoration is mesmerizing. The hotel is in a small lane which shields it from the busy street. Moreover, the staff ensures that all guests feel welcome and safe at the hotel. Thanks a lot for a wonderful experience !!!

Top Hotel for a very good price. Located in between the bar spots and the old market of Thamel. Very quiet and a cozy roof top. Very beautiful interior in the whole hotel. Clean and stylish rooms and very nice and helpful staff/ service.

This is the perfect hotel for a low budget trip to Kathmandu. The hotel is clean, and there’s a tranquil and silent environment that let you rest from a exhausting day. Warm shower, incense smell and silence. Thank you Nepal for being a wonderful host ♥️

Amazing experience in this hotel. Very friendly staff, good and clean rooms. Also the position is really perfect because the hotel is located in the middle of thamel. Recommended.

This is one of the best places you can stay in Kathmandu. This is a family run hotel with very humble and down to earth hosts. They started off saying feel at home and that's what they made us feel "Home". They helped us throughout our stay and guided us on all our activities. Great people and amazing service. Highly recommend this place to all travellers solo or couple.

Had a really bad experience. The onwer was very rude. Had no privacy. Did get a lot better place ko stay next day at $5 less. Don’t get fooled by its ambience. The rooms are very small with no proper windows.

There's a really nice atmosphere in this hotel mostly due to the friendly and helpful staff. My room was clean and showers always hot. And although it's in the busy area of Thamel it's still nice and quiet. You won't go too far wrong with this place.

Lovely and friendly hotel in town. The interior of hotel is superb till now on my visit to different hotels. Great hospitability and great inhouse staff services. Though they have some special house rules during this pendamic but we were provided very clean room and hygienic environment. Fooding is also best. Would suggest everyone to stay in nepal pavillion inn.

Great place! We went to this hotel, because of the decoration/furniture. The owners are very kind and are always ready to help. Rooms are nice and there is enough space. Also this was one of our favourite streets of Kathmandu with great chinese food. Thank you

The location is convenient and quiet. The shower is hot enough even in winter. The hotel inside is quite aesthetic.

What an excellent place to stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and we ate there many times on our week long stay. The rooms cleaned daily and we always had a great smile from all the staff as we passed them. What a wonderful job Mahesh is doing. Thanks for the stay, and we look forward to staying again when we return to Kathmandu. Thanks Pierre and Renee

A boutique hotel in the heart of Thamel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and is equally hospitable. The front office guys are really awesome and so is everything about the place. The rooms are small, but it's best to opt for the super deluxe rooms for a really comfortable stay. If I ever return to Kathmandu would definitely like to stay here.

Very healthy environment. Polite and supportive staffs. Salute to the management that they helped me to find some offices which I could have never found easily on my own. They helped us personally. Stayed there for three nights and I really felt like a good home. Thank you so much Nepal Pavilion Inn team for spreading all your heartful services for us. This is my place to stay whenever I visit Kathmandu. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

A very nice well decorated budget friendly hotel in the prime location of Thamel, Katmundu. The staff were really friendly. Apparently no room heater in our room and apparently no warm water in bathroom. Overall okay for budget aspect m

Lovely Staff, they had lot of helpfull advice for me travelling alone. Rooms comfortable, nice bathroom with shower. Nice rooftop restaurant. Nice collection of art and antiquaries in the lobby and stairway. Next year again!!!

I liked the property because of interiors. Beautiful collection of antiques adds different aura to the hotel. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is really helpful. But outside area and the entrance to the hotel is shady which may create a doubt in the mind about the safety.

A charming family-run property, lobby and public areas are filled with antiques and full of character. Decent sized room, everything is in working condition. Location is in the heart of Thamel, food options aplenty and very easy to pick up necessities. Highly recommend!

We visited Nepal recently and stayed here for 5 nights. We had a warm welcome by the staff and the check in was very smooth, they had kept everything ready as ours was an online booking. The staff here is very friendly and really very helpful. We didn't have any complaints through out our stay. They help you in every possible way they can. The rooms are neat & tidy and well accomodated to our needs. They provide hot water, fresh towels, bath gel & shampoo , bathroom slippers.... We had a great experience staying here. Kudos to the team and hardly do we come across such people who are genuinely interested in providing the best for their customers rather than filling up their pockets. Thank you so much for the overwhelming experience.

I love the Nepal Pavilion Inn! The staff (especially Prakash) is so helpful and kind! I had 5 days in Kathmandu and they gave me great tips on what I could do and whenever I just wanted to relax in my room, me and my partner felt so at home. Whenever I had a question, for example, how to get hot water to my shower - they were very helpful in helping me understand how it worked. I felt like the staff had our best interest. Remember that you’re in Nepal and I think for the price you pay, it is a really nice place and great service! I reached out to them weeks in advance and they were very responsive and prompt to my emails when reserving and I am about to head off to Chitwan for a few days and they are willing to hold my luggage until I get back…I can just tell that they wanted to make our experience a great one. Thank you Nepal Pavilion Inn!!!

My ratings is with regards to the telephonic conversation with the hotel team about booking a room for me and my parents. I was surprised to learn that they are discriminating reservation as per nationality. If such practices are followed by the hotel team, they should clearly mention on relevant booking/reservation channels so that your guests are aware beforehand of the same and not face issues after arriving into the country. Rest again it's at their discretion.

Right at the time you enter, there's this natural and unique fragrance that takes all over you. The staff members are very welcoming. They will let you feel like home. Ambience is pure and tranquil. My room was spick and span. The rooftop bar is quiet and scenic. I had a great stay and will recommend it to everyone who wants to stay just around Thamel in a peaceful surrounding. Thankyou very much for hosting me Nepal pavillion. Cheers

I cannot oversell this place. If you're looking for kind, genuine people in the heart of Kathmandu, this is where you want to go. As stated by many people before, the rooms are cleaned regularly and are very tidy and comfy, and the hotel has a real vibe, thanks to the work of its team who made everything by themselves and who turned the place into something resembling them: warm, soothing and welcoming. You'll be provided with towels, bath gel, shampoo, WI-Fi... everything to make your arrival as smooth as possible. The food served at the rooftop restaurant is something I wholeheartedly recommend. The hotel is located very close to all the amenities you might need (trekking shops, restaurants, souvenir boutiques, ATM, Western Union...) Durbar Square, Ratna Park, Maitidevi Temple, Rani Pokhari, multiple Thangka schools, as well as a lot of traditional Newari houses, are all within walking distance. The staff speak English, and there's always someone there, day or night, even during Dashain. They'll go out of their way to help you with everything you'll dare throwing at them: taxi, bus to Pokhara, guided tours, you name it. Speaking of the staff: I unfortunately fell rather sick for a few days following my arrival, but the people were so incredibly kind I'll forever cherish these moments. They took care of me like I was their son, and were probably the nicest human beings I had ever met. Thanks to all of you (special thanks to a certain Mr. P. Nepal) from the bottom of my heart, and see you soon.

Lovely place to stay. Location was on the edge of Thamel but that meant much cheaper (& better) restaurants on the street. Still within a minute or two walk of the main section. The owner was very lovely & helpful. Helped us book a bus & get various info on things. The rooms were clean & everything was nicely decorated. Can’t comment on food as we didn’t eat here. It was hard to find, we walked passed it twice whilst looking at the map so could maybe do with better signage but couldn’t fault other than that.
