This hotel is fabulous and I highly recommend. The showers were super hot. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious with coffee or tea. The hotel manager, Suresh hung out with us, sharing a plethora of information, and recommendations. He was most helpful with our taxi and very kind to our kid. Finally, when one of us got sick he was electrolyte mixes to aid in our recovery. Top notch!

I had a fantastic 2 week stay here and would really recommend it as a place to stay in Bhaktapur. The owners are super friendly, the breakfast is delicious and served on the beautiful rooftop terrace, and the rooms are comfortable and come with hot showers. It’s also in a great location for exploring the city. Suresh helped us feel really at home and staying here definitely enhanced our visit to Nepal.

At Vintage Home, you're guaranteed to be well taken care of by Suresh and his staff. This is the first hotel being built in Bhaktapur cirka 40 years ago, therefore marked by the ravages of time. With six rooms only and a charming rooftop terrace, the atmosphere in the hotel is tranquil and very friendly. The location is superb.

With only six rooms, Suresh the manager has every detail down to a fine art. Exceptional presentation, banana pancakes to die for, served with the famous Bhaktapur yoghurt, as well as the location right in amongst the action, it is a classy, intimate home away from home. The staff are professional, warm and welcoming. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy

We strongly recommend this property if you are visiting Bhaktapur old city. We (couple) booked this motel through Air Arabia holidays. This property is 50 meters away from Bhaktapur Darbar Square and few hundred meters away from Dattatreya temple. All facilities including restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops very very close by. Its a basic motel. The room was good, excellent bathroom with full time hot water, We had a balcony overseeing the ancient quarters of Bhaktapur. The host Mr. Suresh is a friendly person with lots of advises and inputs for tourists. The breakfast is at the rooftop and it is yummy. You are assured of good times while staying here. We stayed here for 3 nights.

It's my third visit in 6 years to #VintageHotel Home. On my first visit, the Hotel was brand new. Each time I come back it remains clean and fresh. The standard is high, and the rooms inviting and spacious. Breakfast was included in the price. It was cheaper to stay here than in Katmandu and less polluted. I visited some cool local clothes shops and authentic restaurants that were great value. I have been to Nepal many times over the last 30 years and hotels often get worn out quickly. Great job to the management in maintaining the charm and top-notch cleanliness. This hotel is placed in Bhaktapur which is a medieval city, after the earthquake many of the buildings were destroyed. Great care has been taken to maintain the charm and it looks better than ever. Bhaktapur is a must-see if you are in Nepal. Patan is within a bus ride and also the upbeat and modern areas such as Jawalakhel/ Jhamsikhel/ Sanepa/ Kupondole. This end of town has many facets; Old and new. A must-see.

The place is near the Durbar square area. Room was okayish, it was hot during summer but they offer a fan, which basically they do the job. Bathroom was nice and clean. Don't fall for the "Balcony View" as you can't see anything from the balcony besides looking down at the footpath.

Stayed for 5 nights in this lovely small hotel. Steps away from Durbar square and the rest of the center of Bhaktapur. Friendly, service minded staff and owner who are willing to help with everything for your stay or after. Nice rooftop breakfast to start the day. Certainly recommended.

it is very noisy in the hotel. loud noises from the yard wake up around 4 am. the room smells very bad, probably from the drains in the bathroom. tap water is not always available. cannot wash and bathe. there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Breakfast served on the roof terrace with sun basking during winter and on shade of umbrella during summer is an advantage. Very friendly owner and hospitable staff! It's worth more than the amount you pay. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, real nice owner and staff, Suresh is mostly arround and Mo makes the best breakfast and coffee, always smilling always friendly. Those 2 make you feel welcome. This is the 3th time that we are here and every time they made it special.

100% recommended as we liked really everything on this cosy little hotel: location in a side-alley right next to all sightseeing places, cafes and restaurants; spotless cleanliness; nice airy room well equipped with closet and desk; welcoming and helpful staff and owner, delicious breakfast served on rooftop terrace.

Nicest place I stayed at in Nepal! Can't beat the location: just off Durbar Square. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed extremely soft and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and very modern. Fast WiFi too, and excellent breakfast. Two high points were the lovely staff, who were all so helpful and friendly, and the rooftop, which was a great place to relax. Can't recommend this place enough!

Clean, comfortable rooms with newly redone bathrooms with great hot showers. The included breakfast was excellent, the service friendly and efficient, and the wifi fast (for Nepal) and reliable. Location is very good as well, just a very short walk to Durbar Square, yet very quiet. Highly recommended
