Too many fake reviews here. Good location, if you love not sleeping due to late night karaoke bars. Rooms are poorly decorated and furnished even for budget accommodation. The staff ate accomplished liars and just don't care. You will not get the room you booked.

I recently stayed at this hotel thinking that it may be good as it gets over 4 rating. But I get scammed. Cloth is clean. But bathroom is dirty. Even flush does not work. I was stuck almost 1 hour in bathroom (flushing problem). AC does not run correctly. I was distressed by this hotel, so I canceled my morning breakfast. And left the room at 5 :00 AM. I STAY at room no.402. And it was beyond expectation. From where it is getting 4 reviews ?

Very nice place. Like all other places in nepal they are facing problems due to covid. But they are trying hard to keep it as nice as it is humanly possible. Their rooftop is a beautiful place to hang. The stuffs are all so helpful and nice while some other more expensive hotels’ are not. They even have dorms if you are on a budget

Is not that I want to bring a bad name for this hotel, I don't know about the private rooms but the dorms are messy, there are cockroaches on the mats, lots of mosquitoes, one toilet is miserably dirty, the WiFi was no working and no fan in the rooms, on top of that not regular personnel for cleaning the room which smells very bad. For the 3 dollars minimum we should have a clean area.

The locations of this hotel is in the heart of thamel. Just outside the hotel you can find nice clubs(Senate, Ice Fire, etc.), SPA(Tranquility), Restaurant (3rd Eye). The services are also pretty good. I came late at night around 1 AM and the Manager came to pick us up. A must stay hotel if you're looking to stay in Thamel.

Most of the reviews here are fake or manipulated. Hotel location is fair but too noisy because of karaoke and clubs aside, rooms were stinky, old torn bed sheets and pillows, pathetic bathrooms, broken bed, no room service, full of mosquitoes and high prices!! Just don’t go.

I was travelling alone and stayed in the dorm for some time. The place is located in a lively area in Thamel, ancient city is close by. The dorm was clean and had lockers. The staff was very sweet and you could ask anything anytime. I would definatly. come back.

It's a good and cheap hostel, the owner is kindly abd friendly, the area of this hostel it's very good, everything about you, restaurants and cafes and markets, there is housekeeping twice in the week if you at rooms.

itswas lovely to return trekkers home in thamel after five years and find the place fresh and clean with same friendly staff still here. And same hotel manager mr. Saroj. Before stay room nunber 409 and this time also 409 my room was very comfortable , definitely i will back after six monys same place

I have never written a review but i made an account for this. Bad management. You will not get the room you booked but will get an worse alternative( for the same price ), seems to be a common problem here. Rooms are very low quality, surprisingly good washrooms, better to book in other 3-star hotels. Rude staff obviously. Would rather sleep in a car than revisit.

The location was perfect right in the centre of Thamel, the staff helped with everything pick ups from the airport were very smooth sailing. The rooms are clean very big and even had a balcony. I enjoyed spending time on the balcony. There is a general shop practically next door which was handy and an ATM across the road. Ask the staff where to buy a sim card easy to get ripped off in Thamel and the place they suggested was really reasonably priced. Even got a welcome Expresso when I arrived! Highly recommend staying here if you want a good spot in Thamel

This is definitely a budget hotel and should only be considered if you know and expect that. We paid 12 USD for the night. The beds are ok. Staff was nice. There was only one towel, no mugs to make coffee, no hot water, toilet was broken, TV did not work, no remote for tv or Ac. The neighborhood is very noisy and you can expect a pigeon to wake you up early.

I stayed there for a night, service was okay. The bext day i left my mifo airbud by mistake, i informed them i'll be coming back tp collect it and Mr. Saroj confirmed it it was there and i could collecte it. But after a week when i went to collect it they said teir staff took it and i still haven'Tt got my airbud and when i call them thay are making irrelevant excuses like, you must jave not forgotten it, and atuff like someone alreday took it. Not a very good yhing to do. Afyer confirming to collect it.

I have lived in Kathmandu for 1 weeks. I loved this place. Excellent service and good hospitality. One of the best Budget hotel in thamel.

The only thing good about this hotel is location, the heart of thamel. Apart from this, everything is shady. We booked our room from booking.com. The room is far from what is being presented in the photos. The sheets had stains. The towel was the worst, seems it hadn't been washed for ages. The cable in the Tv was not working. No water bottles. No fan. The toilet was meh. Overall a very bad experience. They might have better rooms which they provide to the foreigners. But being local, we feel they scamed us good. I wouldn't recommend this place. But if you are in hurry, make sure to check the room and other facilities before making payent. PS message to the owner, avoid scamming local people. I wonder how this place has such a good rating. Thanks

Trekker House is a big hotel located in the heart of Katmandú You can find everything by walking, clean and nice environment, friendly people working here , they provide you with good help there also a restaurant where you can have nice meals , :) Hope you can pass by and prove by yourself

Please don't choose this hotel for staying. I was there for some days & they pay 4164 Nepali rupees per day. They serve very bad food, really pathetic.. The room & toilet was ugly with failed water heater line & bad water. They cheated on me .No idea , how they get the star rating...don't trust.

Because the hotel staff was so nice and helfull to my 2 pets and to me. Plus the room are clean an the hotel is in a great location!
