I came here on a research project and stayed there for more than a month. My experience was real awesome. Its a newly built quiet clean place. I got a spacious room. Room service was great. I loved the rooftop lounge where I enjoyed football matches. Overall its great and I definitely recommend!

The owners and stuff are great. They are efficient, help with everything and are generous (free mineral water, coffee and tea at the lovely rooftop restaurant). The location is excellent. They have a travel agency for treks and tours, which looks professional (We haven't tried it). For those who are sensitive to noise, it is recommended to select a room in the upper floors.

I actually stayed at this hotel twice and though the first stay was pleasant enough that I came again, I believe your money is better spent elsewhere. The quality of the water supply was abysmal during my second stay. It had a metallic, rusty smell and a pinkish hue. I addressed my concerns to the staff at the front desk and they said if I let the water run for 5 mins it will solve that problem. It didn’t. Therefore, I had to reply on bottled water to brush my teeth, and etc., and had to request two bottles of water during my stay. During checkout I discovered that I had to pay almost 3X the regular price for the 2 bottle of water I requested despite the fact that the water quality made using the tap water impossible. (There is a store a few mins down that sold water for 25 rupees) Furthermore, in all the other hotels I have stayed at, mid-range or budget, they provided 2 complimentary bottles of water per day. The entire experience made me feel incredibly ripped off. Because not only did they charge me 155 rupees which would cost 50 at the store or free at any other hotel, their poor water quality was the reason I had requested the extra water.

Great stay at a clean hotel with kind staff. We stayed here twice, before and after trekking. The hotel kindly held our extra baggage for free while we went trekking in the mountains and safely returned all items. The internet was a little slow but was sufficient for us and each room had a separate log on. Good location in thamel. Would recommend.

I have been staying here since last 4 days. While walking through the street of Thamel, I checked into this hotel and the hospitality of staff and cleanliness of the room made me stay here. It was a very good decision. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. The cleanliness here is commendable. The breakfast and other food I had were very good. They also have a restaurant nearby by the name Rosemary Kitchen & Coffee Shop, it just met my expectations. The food was too delicious.I have been having my dinner since the day 2 at their restaurant. Loved this hotel and the restaurant!!

I happen to stay in this hotel for a week during my Nepal visit. I don't usually write reviews but this time i have to because this hotel is worth recognition. Great staff. I was really overwhelmed by the welcoming of the staffs of this hotel. I dindn't even have to carry my lauggage to my room by myself. The guy working at reception helped me to understand all check in and check out process and gladly helped me get my lauggages in my room. Very clean and peaceful environment with amazing staffs. This is a very underrated hotel for the price you pay.

I spent a night at Hotel Rosemary Homes three months ago after first arriving in Nepal. I hadn't gotten round to writing a review yet but I would hereby like to recommend this lovely hotel and express how amazing the people are who run it. I was picked up by the hotel owner from the airport, who took care of everything I needed during my stay. Apart from interesting conversations he helped me with purchasing bus tickets and finding my way around Thamel. Everyone made me feel so welcome on my first day in Nepal, so I truely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Kathmandu with loving hosts and good food in the hotel's own rooftop restaurant. Thank you again to everyone who made my first Nepali experiences so enjoyable and worthwhile!!!

Hotel rosemary homes was such a delight to stay at. It is location is perfect, located in the heart of Thamel market. The owner went out of his way to treat me like family and was available to help or answer any questions I had. Thank you Hotel Rosemary Homes! 10/10!!!

Outstanding service by Aashutosh and Saambik both were so nice that they became my frnd. Rooms were clean well equipped with everything which a room posses. Location is middle of Thimel market so u can go shopping just outside of hotel but no parking facility so if you have your vehicle this hotel is not for you as u have park ur vehicle in nearest Complex by bearing parking charges.. But the stay was Best.. I have stayed for 3 days.

Staff tries to cheat foreigners. They ask for more money than decided especially when you are about to check out.
