Exceptional hotel... I was only going to stay a day or two in this hotel, but ended up staying almost 2 weeks. I actually spent about 2 days searching around Thamel (for cheap hostels) before finding this place, and for price and comfort it was well worth it. The view from the roof is spectacular, with a near 360° view of Kathmandu. This for me was the highlight of this hotel. The rooms come in all types. They are clean and seem relatively newly decorated, with on suit bathroom (shower with hot water) and toilet. The mattresses are normal western style so that was also a plus for me. Staff are really friendly and advised me on my trekking trips and gave great suggestions for local places to eat cheap. Highly recommend this place and hope this review helped. Any questions I will be happy to answer, and above all have a great stay in Kathmandu.

I got a good welcome on my stay and through out my visit here the staff and owner kept making sure that I enjoyed and had everything I needed. Staff also had really good knowlage of the surroundings and gave lots of good advice on what to think about then you're in town.

Nice place to stay outside of Thamel. Balconies overlooking the chaos of Kathmandu. Run by friendly people.

This hostel is conveniently located near the tourist area of Thamel which makes it a cheap alternative but don’t expect tidyness. The beds were quite dirty, no hot water and constant banging throughout the hotel during the night. I had a private room, and even had people enter the room in the middle of the night (my fault for not locking it). One morning, there was even a woman sleeping in the kitchen where breakfast was to be held. However, the guy at reception was nice and helpful which is why I’m giving it two stars over one.

One of best place to stay in thamel area. It is peaceful and bit away from noisy area. Recently visited their rooftop bar. You can get quite a view from here. Coming back soon

Very good location, nice views from terrace, pretty cheap rooms, but note the bedding, can be used! And in my bathroom the water pours around the clock, nobody cares!

We stayed several days then went to Pokhara and then returned here. Fabulous people, always willing to assist, with anything needed, comfortable beds, room with ac, hot water, fabulous rooftop views, of ALL of Katmandu AND THE MOUNTAINS, very conveniently located on outskirts of Thamel. We will stay here again, when we return! Thanks for everything! Our stay was a wonderful experience! Friends forever!
