Kudos to Yunis, loved our stay there. What an hospitality and awesome lip smacking breakfast. The personal attention he gives to each Guest is really touching. Yunis keep going...meet you again soon. I would rate it at 9/10.

Be warned - very noisy! From the hallway and from outside. The mattresses (at least in my room) must be changed. It was completely worn out. However, I must compliment the hosts. Always helpful and friendly.

A good hotel with good food and accomodation. Rooms are clean spacious and hotel is family friendly. While in kathmandu valley give it a go if you are a budget traveller.

Had such an enjoyable time during my stay at the Alpine Hotel, both before and after trekking Everest Base Camp. The hotel team (Happy, Gautam, Unis and Dulip) were so helpful every day. They would make me the best masala tea in the city every morning, followed by a lovely breakfast (included in the price!). The team helped me organise sightseeing around Kathmandu, quickly sorted out my laundry, arranged PCR tests and answered any questions I had. If you need somewhere to stay in Kathmandu, this is the place!

The place is nice, it’s just That noise from road and bell seems from the school nearby makes you wake up early.

Except food, everything else was good. In food, we could only get fried rice and chapati. Instead we can go out and eat for the lunch and dinner. Breakfast was fine

We had booked two rooms but they offered one more room at no extra cost. Staf was co-operative.

I stayed in this Thamel area hotel for over 3 weeks recently, because I got very nice and reasonable priced room with nice breakfast here. A few key positives are full force hot shower, breakfast buffet with personalized good service, friendly owners and staff, nice restaurants nearby ! I will surely stay here next time I visit here.

Best and budget hotel in the heart of city and main Thamel area. But, lacks of basic facility like hot water. I was there for 3 days and from day 1 I told them that I'm not getting hot water but nobody bother to correct the problem but, instead told me use another room for bath and one day they provided me hot water in bucket 🪣 😅

Location is not at good place But the view from its top floor is amazing Room price is about 1500-2000 per night You can find many more rooms at affordable price

Smoking was prohibited on the rooms and it was allowed on the premises but on 11 pm the main door was closed and no one was om the reception. so we can't go to premise. That was awkward.

Disgusting! Tourists beware This is definitely not a 3-star hotel. We were tricked by all the nice pictures they have on their websites. Don't be fooled. Upon realizing how dirty the room was, we decided to weather through the dirt, but it was not possible. Rude customer service wasn't helping as well. There was no hot shower, it's warm at best if you're lucky. We checked out on our 3rd day and they didn't want to refund the rest of the days. The worst part was THEY MADE US SIGN A PAPER STATING "THAT WE CANNOT COMPLAIN TO TRIPADVISOR" They must have had done this to other customers as well. This place needs to shut down 0/10, 1 star all the way

Overall, I had a great experience with Alpine Hotel; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean and comfy. Will recommend to my colleagues and others who wish to travel to Kathmandu.

Unish gave great customer service to me and my husband. Cleanliness in the room when we arrived was just okay, but they cleaned for us when we requested it. It’s good for a budget hotel that we stayed in for mandatory quarantine upon entering Nepal during covid times.

The apartment was nice and centrally located which provided great access to taxis as well as walking paths.Very comfortable stay and perfect location.Friendly and helpful staff (unish, delhip and I don't remember her name from housekeeping

Rooms were basic. There is heat and hot water. Management is keen to help with whatever you need. Good location.

The room insulation is horrible. We had only 30% from a single toilet paper and the worst think was the fact they didn't change sheets!! If it wasn't enough, the guy from the dask tried to increase the charge when we left. Bad experience overall.

Not the best but okay for the price you are paying. Staff are very laid back and have a bit of a strange vibe. I think they try to charge more if they have the chance so be aware. Rooms are okay clean. They say no smoking but we definitely smelled pot in the hallways and a little in our room. It’s quite noisy outside at night. Plus side is the small bathtub
