Please take care of a Indian Nepali couple !!! They played a father daughter game with me ! I and other people found out the father and the daughter was a couple. They look like I described but no hate here against anyone. My google comment by the way is real ! Check my comment in Armenia last year if you don't trust my comments. If u don’t believe me or u get in trouble with them please write me there are more people affected from this couple. Maybe they still search people who travel alone(BIG WARNING). Take care in Thamel maybe they are still active. My psychosis I still have is documented at Swacon International Hospital(Thank you very much). But I get here now good medical treatment at home and from friends who are supporting me. I don't recommend this hostel because Police came and the couple is still not in Jail. I can't recommend for me staying in this Hostel anymore. Ask the the reception why !

It's a hostel, I don't necessarily go there for this service. They have a good rooftop. Multiple layers and sections where you can enjoy a surprisingly nice view of the city scape. It's windy usually too. Smoking herbs friendly.

This place has the best staff! It's a great place to meet new friends. The restaurant is delicious, order the chicken burger (no regrets). The view from the roof top patio is one of the best in Kathmandu. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

The receptionist charged me an extra $6000 NPR for my 4 days when I got there to checked in, but I already paid my room fee for 4 nights online before I flew to Nepal, she said they accidentally typed wrong price online. I Considered my situation that time, I have no choice but gave her money, it was disappointed me very much for my first time travel to Nepal because her awful attitude and this mistake. And the last 2 days, water was brown and dirty

Besides lots of hostels but has the best rooftop and vibe in the area (having also tried the others!) rooms are simple but decent amenities, and very helpful and friendly staff

The overall vibe of the place is good, the rooftop is a fun place and the staff is always smiling and helpful. I could take Teams calls using their Wifi in the room. They could improve the housekeeping part though, people wouldn't come to clean the room unless reminded multiple times.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Kathmandu, look no further. The staff were excellent, from the wonderfully kind woman who works on reception who went above and beyond for me on multiple occasions to the staff on the rooftop restaurant who were so friendly and welcoming. Room 10 was so lovely and great value for money. The roof top is the best place to hang out in Kathmandu, amazing vibes, view and serves great food. Excellent location, couldn’t be happier with my stay.

If you're looking for a clean and tidy hotel, this place fits the bill. However, the food here is expensive and doesn't taste good. While the rooms are great, the overpriced and unappetizing food was a major disappointment. Despite the good rooms, I would advise looking elsewhere for food options. Overall, the stay was okay but the food left much to be desired.

stayed in a dorm room for a night and it was okay except that the beds are too close to each other and no curtains between them. I was lucky that no was snoring during my stay. I also did not like the locker as it was impossible to use the type of padlock that have. Wifi is a bit spotty in this dorm.

Okay this place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The staff are very very friendly and we had a very warm welcome to Nepal. They helped us with everything we needed and we had a few lovely friendly chats. It was a great experience. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The rooftop bar/restaurant has a beautiful view. There are a lot of activities for the boarders to enjoy and bond over with the other boarders. The only downside would be, I'd say, the water heater is a little complicated to use. But hey it works so there's that. Also the bathroom doesn’t have a door but trust me that was not a problem at all. I would definitely recommend Hotel Yog. Regardless of if you are coming by yourself or with a group.

Rooms are OK, nothing too fancy, loved the paintings on the walls. The service was great all around, from the reception to the bar on the rooftop. Position is good, just 5 minutes from Thamel. Overall amazing hostel for travellers, with an amazing view from the rooftop!

Worst place to stay in Kathmandu. Flock hostel is the best one in the area and you can walk past this one a little forward. The entire place is so dirty they have not maintained it very well. The place doesn't have clean washrooms and proper doors that cover it fully. They allocated same bed to two people and therefore the sleep was taken away for the night stayed there as the one who reached bed first takes the spot. Along with that the attitude and rude character of the reception guy was un bearable after a sleepless night. Please avoid and go for Flock or any other hostels .

I'm highly disappointed with this place. Booked a private room at the roof with a private shower. Unfortunately there was no hot water, and I had to go down in another bathroom just to use the shower. Is not worth your money

We had to leave because our room was infested with coakroaches. The bedsheets had bloodstains and the couch was very dirty.

Nice place to hang around with friends. Foods are good in taste and quantity. I liked the roof top view of the restaurant. Staffs were very friendly. Definitely I will visit again.

i am from uk i liked the location but when i went to rooftop i found people so much arrogant always asking for something and were smoking weed and drugs. then i tottaly didnt like the place.

A great place to meet fellow travelers at the rooftop bar/restaurant. The food is good but the view is great! It can be a bit loud at times but not to bad. The Wi-Fi sometimes goes in and out during they day but is good at night and in the morning. I will stay here again when I'm back in Kathmandu!

Incredible place. Very kind staff, available and helpful. There is a rooftop restaurant, but you can also use shared cooking. The rooms are superb, very comfortable and clean. I love this place. There is also a laundry service. The view from the rooftop is amazing

Just amazing and helpful staff, they are sweet. This place' roof top restaurant has one of the best view of Kathmandu. It has books to read, snooker to play, and descent food and tea at the restaurant. There is open kitchen where every guest is allowed to cook their own food. Cleanliness is good. Definitely Worth a place to stay

I really liked the terrace with beautifully decorated and comfortable sitting arrangement, food quality is good with reasonable prices. I think terrace would be more suited for summer season. ⛄❄️

Comfortable stay to breathtaking views Hotel yog is one of the few treasures that Kathmandu has. They have amazing chefs and lovely staff. 24/7 help desk at reception.

The rooftop is an amazing multi-level steel frame on top of the building which is one of the highest points in the area looking over Thamel. They have a good restaurant and bar with lots of selection and lots of friendly staff. The dorm rooms however were a letdown with no fans, only one tiny window, quite damp / moist and lots of mosquitoes. Shared toilets were pretty average too. Only redeeming factor of the rooms was the price. The private rooms look nice, although I didn't stay in one.

I have to give 5 star for the room for the service and the location. The frontdesk was really friendly the guy and the lady. Greeted you with genuine smile when we first came. Really made a good first impression. Location wise is walking distance to Thamel street which is great. And they have a very beautiful view of Kathmandhu city on the rooftop. I would say perhaps the best rooftop around this location. The sunset from this location was superb. Thank you again for the hospitality and i will for sure come here again when im in Kathmandhu again.

This place offers a rooftop cafe, one of the must visit places if you are near thamel in the evening. You will love the environment around and the huge space for dining and watching the view. Idk about the rooms as I went for a cafe only.

Amazing place to see half of the Kathmandu city with swyambhunath in front face. To be at chilled vibes this can be the amazing place. Visit once when you are at thamel. Near to wanderthrust hostel.

Absolutely wonderful spot to chill Great food and wonderful atmosphere at an affordable price Masala tea here was really special Overall the atmosphere here is an absolute treat, the view from the rooftop is mesmerising as well.

Very cool hotel, young vibes and amazing rooftop. The room didn't have a door to the shower!! And the noise at night was not nice a night before flight.. The staff was very friendly and helpful and really helped us to get a pcr test before the flight.

Wonderful place for a great price. I've paid only 460 rupees for the dorm room which was large and decorated nicely. The roof top is wonderful. There's two of them and one is very quiet and amazing during dusk! 🙏
