I was sad to be leaving Kathmandu, because it meant I could no longer come here to eat! Delicious, varied and affordable menu. Kind staff, who even prepared a takeaway breakfast for my early flight the next morning. I’ve attached some photos of the meals I enjoyed here, as well as a photo of the side path that the restaurant is at the end of — it can be a little tricky to find.

Wonderful place for Vegans. We tried steamed momos and Thukpa. Both were really nice and full filing.

Best vegan place to go to in thamel My go to restaurant when im craving for nice and clwan nepali/western food. The owener is vegan and the most nicest person, alwayes smiling and patiant to your reqwests. chef is creative and stuff are kind. Location is great and prices are dicent. No alchohol or smoking. Nice and clean place. Highly recomand!

The dishes are mouth watering here. Seitan MO:MO and the Chowmin is my go to dish here. Good amount of stuffing in MO:MO and good amount of seitan and other veggies in Chowmin. My current favourite(hahah forgot the dish name) is the one with the kidney beans and potato chop over the top. Also, seitan chhoila over here is to die for. Well I have loved every food I have tried over here. The restaurant owner Samu dd is the best here. She is so friendly and hard working and what amazes me the most is you can find initiation of new dishes everytime I visit there. Trust me you want yo keep coming back for the variety of menu they provide. Every foods are worth trying for 😋

Amazing food, amazing service as well. The lady taking orders is incredibly nice and welcoming. We had the fried mushrooms and the chilly sate, both were amazing ! You can ask for your dish to be non spicy as well.

Love the new location 🤗. One of mi favorite restaurants in KTM, the momo soup definetly helps me keep up with the winter and revies me when I'm feeling low. The owner of the restaurant is such a lovely human 😘. Please come try and leave a review. There should be more places like this in town.🙏

The most amazing vegan and restaurant experience in Thamel. I love the warm friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Service is A+ with complimentary water, wifi and super comfy seating. Their menu is extensive for a vegan restaurant and extremely tasty. I have travelled many places in Nepal and Asia and loving heart is number 1 choice for me! I highly recommend the chilly momos and the vegan burger ! Freshly made, hygienic kitchen and full of flavour with no harm! Thanks especially to the staff for a wonderful memory.

We have eaten here so many times during our stay in Kathmandu, we are always welcomed with a huge smile. The owner Samu is simply the kindest and warmest lady and her restaurant is spotlessly clean. Her passion for veganism swept us away and her menu is full of beautiful dishes that are filled with flavour and love. Every dish we have tried has been delicious and her vegan soy ice cream is one if the best I have ever eaten (blueberry is my favourite). Try it in their version of 'hello to the vegan queen'.

The most delicious vegan restaurant in Kathmandu! We went to LOVING HEART twice because we wanted to try many things on their menu. Their soy masala chai (tea) is a must!

Loved everything we sampled on the menu so far. The owner, Samu is a very passionate vegan and a passionate supporter of spreading the vegan message around Nepal. The breakfast burrito is out of this world - the bread is like a fluffy thick gyro bread filled with fried mushrooms, onions, green peppers and tofu and the most delicious sauce. - highly recommended.

A nice little restaurant in Thamel where you can have vegan version of a variety of dishes. You can have Nepali, Indian, or popular international dishes. They also have a lot of different beverages and desserts. The staff are kind. You can pay with cash or by digital payment. The service is quick, and they charge you extra for service. The food taste good, neither too overpowering nor too bland. If you are vegan, it is a place for you in Thamel.

Incredible delicious vegan food and lovely owners ❤️🌱 I have eaten here three times because there was so much on the menu that I wanted to try. I hiiighly recommend the Kombucha and the momo soup, but everything else was yum too!

Delicious Breakfast the Homemade Muesli was great and the Breakfast Burrito was even better. On top of that we were given complementary chai’s. Perfect breakfast! Great service, great food & comfortable relaxing place. We’ll come back for sure!

The restaurant is the best choice for vegan food in Kathmandu. During our stay we’ve been there 4 times in a row because the food is so delicious 🤩 for us the steamed momo and the spicy seithan were on of the best dishes 🙏🏻 definitely try it out 💯

Lovely little place just hidden off the road. Cool vibes, very chilled. Excellent, friendly service. The food was delicious. The chowmein and falafels we had were tasty and really good portions. Good price too. Find it and check it out.

Great little place to eat. We got there just before closing time but they were more than happy to take our order. The owner was incredibly lovely and the food was also excellent. They were able to cater to our dietary needs as well. Would definitely go back and I recommend this place.

Best vegan place in Kathmandu! A large variety of delicious vegan dishes. Very nice team and volunteers helping out. They organise small vegan festivals from time to time. Overall, the place has a very nice atmosphere with a terrace on top, and a really good yoga studio just next door.

I met Samu (the owner) yesterday and she’s an incredible vegan women ! They work with all the family to cook you delicious vegan Nepali food ! (lots of choices) You can go with eyes closed 🫶 Everything is tasty, copious and full of flavour

As a vegan and a regular visitor to Nepal, Loving Heart is a place that I come to again and again. Shamu and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and make wonderful food! ...it has great breakfast choices, and I'm often in for lunch or for dinner! - it is all good, but 'healthy rice' and 'mushroom stick' are favourites! ...do yourself a favour and just go! :-)

We absolutely loved that cute restaurant! All dishes were very tasty and staff was very cute and doing their best to serve us well. We had soups to start and the so called Noble rice (rice with a very creamy and rich sauce with veggies and tofu) and a veggie curry. One of the best restaurants in Kathmandu :) prices are totally fine!

Some amazing vegan dishes - momo soup, chilly mushrooms is a must try, seitan thapke noodles delicious. Very big and filling buddha bowl, but don't go for the pizza. We were do excited to try it, but it was a dissapointment. The base tasted and look like a shop bought, there was no mushrooms and it had a weird sweet taste to it. This could definitely be improved, hence 3 stars only.

Amazing restaurant. The only 100% vegan restaurant in Thamel and quite possibly all of Nepal. Highly recommend. I visited 4+ times in two days. The owner is so kind. Definitely try the ginger fish! Similar to the Loving Hut chain if you’re familiar.

I arrived shortly before closing, but still enjoyed the pleasant smiles of my server who made me feel like I was in her home. The food, momo soup, came out piping hot and delicious – exactly what I wanted to complete my day. The restaurant can be found on the ground floor of Hotel Avatar.

I had high hopes for this place, maybe I made the wrong food selection? But here's my feedback. The service was pretty slow, we got out food 15minutes a part for each plate. We ordered the fried tofu, the mushroom, the seitan chili and the momo soup. The fried tofu was taste less. The texture was really nice, but it was missing flavors. For the mushrooms, they were really dry and way too oily. The seitan chili was amazing. I would have ate 10 plates of it. Super rich, creamy and tasty, I really enjoyed it. The momos were well made, but the broth for the soup was lacking taste. Overall, nice concept, really happy for a 100% vegan restaurant. I wish it was more flavorful. You can easily get vegan food in Kathmandu for cheaper and better.

Good vegan restaurant. Some are handmade some are processed. Kombucha was good. Grilled tofu was good. Other was average. Overall food taste was good. Price is reasonable. Only accept cash and qr payment l. No ambience it is a quick dine in and go.

This is only one Vegan restaurant in Thamel place is quite and the dishes are awesome. You feel real vegan tastes in this restaurant I like this place often I go there and enjoy the meals.

Clean, organized and peaceful place.but prices in menu felt too expensive for Nepali and Indian citizens. Otherwise, recipes are tasty and well crafted.If being vegan is this expensive, I must get back to meat, dairy.

Friendly staff and supportive and informative with the menu. Wide range of vegan food of varying cuisines. Kind of new to the idea of a hot salad, I would have preferred it cold. Tried the Seitan sadeko. Very crunchy and punchy flavours. Little spicy but not by much. Casual dining with lots of people hanging out on laptops and drinking tea. Offer of vegan ice cream and cauli wings and other things including pancakes if you're looking for a full menu to choose from.

Amazing vegan restaurant in Kathmandu! I have come here for 2 days in a row (for now) because not only the food is delicious and cheap, but the service is great. And obviously everything is vegan!!! They have a great menu with local food and also western and middle East like falafel. The owner told me she is vegan since 22 years and she is super kind! Totally recommend this place. Also they have the best seitan I have ever tried. The momos soup is also amazing and way tastier than in other places! I probably will come more times!!

I loved dessert at this Loving Heart Vegan Restaurant! I had “hello 2 the vegan queen,” which is granded cookies with vegan ice cream, nuts, chocolate sauce and some fruit. I do have to say the dessert gets better with every bite! I started out liking it and ended up with thoughts of returning for more. Service was friendly and very quick.
