All for the maintenance and the history that this place holds. The place is well inside thamel and can seat quite some people this place has a small out door seating for about 4 tables or so. The tibetan menu can be considered the best around Thamel but i would still prefer it having the tangy n spicy tibetan authenticity to the bones. Parking in thamel can be a hassle.

Food is delicious and offers Tibetan and Chinese menu. You can also get gourmet coffee and outdoor seating.

Always best soup momo place for me. I highly recommend if anybody want to try different test. this soup contains chicken meat balls which taste amazing and you get the kick from crushed black pepper ;). Try out this yummy bowl of delicious soup and Enjoy!

This restaurant offers traditional Tibetan and Nepali food. I ordered a mixed Thenthuk, which I quite liked. It was on the generous side with the ingredients. The taste was great although the soup was not enough seasoned to my liking (they have hot sauce, soy sauce and salt on the side). The price was also fair for the quantity and quality (260 rupees). The place is quite large and feels nice (located in a quite back alley). Service was very friendly and fast. I would recommend you to try if you're around.

This place was great! Has a large menu with different Nepalese foods including lots of vegetarian options. The spicy momos were incredible and my partner said his butter chicken masala was one of the best curries he’s ever had. We ordered three dishes and two big beers all for less than $20USD.

They served delicious thentuk, thukpa and shaykpa

Ordered pan fried mo:mo, spicy mo:mo, thukpa and Nepal Ice beer. Pan fried mo:mo is crispy outside and juicy inside. If you’re tired of spices, go for thukpa. It is like a udon noodle soup. Not too strong taste and lots of veggies.

Ex-cel-lent place ! Wonderful kitchen, we went there several times in our Nepal visit : it's the best "Mo:Mo" we ever tried ! The crew is so kind and nice, and the "Tongba" experience is definitely a must ! Don't forget to try the backyard if the sun is shining ;) I strongly advise this place in case you want to have a tibetan/nepalese experience in Kathmandu !

Good prices, good quality of food. Not too touristy. Their fried chicken momos were really good, had to come back a second time to eat it. I also had their chicken chowmein which was good too. Staff were prompt with their service.

Amazing place, I found it just wandering around Thamel and I couldn't be happier. I had a veggy Mo-Thuk which was super tasty and sweet momos for dessert which I loved too. The terrace is really cosy and the staff is very kind and attentive. This place has very good energies! I'll come back for sure

Used to be great joint back in the days for quick momo, thenthuk, chowmien etc.. i am talking about 10-15 yeqrs ago. Now they have upgraded the interiors a bit. However, the food lacked substance and the old flair. Buff momo and Mo-thuk was not to my liking. Chicken momo did not similar spice in its meat which was better. I am taking about heavy smell of Garam masala. Seeing italian expressso maker ordered an americano, it tasted bitterly n over burnt coffee beans.the only thing we liked was the Tomba drink which was fantastic. They have lots of food in their menu, maybe others could be better but it is not as authentic as it used to be before.

An old favourite restaurant of mine located in central Thamel. Amazing food, great options for vegetarians. They have a little outdoor courtyard area which is a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff are really friendly. Clean and affordable.

Old yet gold. Good for some local tibetent falvoured food. Few best foods I had were - Pork and buff syabhale - friend and steam buff Momo's - with different regular & spicy sauce, bit of soy and vinegar. - boneless 🐔 chilly was ok too Parking can be a bit of a hassle as which is not well managed and this restaurant lies in a one way too. Service and cleanliness if fine. Has ample of space too. Prices and perfect according to ambience, food and service. Good get together spot.

Got here upon checking google reviews and I'm not disappointed at all! Stayed in Kathmandu for 3 nights and i visited this place twice as the food is good. The place can be abit tricky to locate. The restaurant is clean and the servers are well spoken. The food was yum along with such generous portion! The momo and syaphaley was so juicy, made me do a happy dance.
