The best thing about hadigaun is its jatras.. its like the biggest jatra. If you want to visit this place visit there in the occasion of jatra.

A great place highly promoted with all the unique cultures. "Kai nabhako jatra Hadigaun ma" has many newari festivals. Locals there seem to be awesome.

Handigaun is the famous place to see the Newari cultural जात्रा

It was beautiful with narrow roads with old Newari community locals around .

This is the area of newars where u can find temples of historical significance everywhere. You can find many cultural programs like jatra every 2months .

Hadigaun is a locality in Nepal and has an elevation of 400 metres. Hadigaun is situated nearby to Chintutar

Old market which is famous for Jatra ( special Festival). Many newari restaurant are available mainly.

I have visited Hadigaun several times and stayed in my relative´s house.It lies north-east side of Kathmandu .The roads are narrower and many ups and downs.Dhobi Khola at the east side of Hadigaun is a small river which is most polluted and the air at the bank of this river smells badly.There are many temples,old houses and a Gahana Pokhari(small water pool)with historic value.Peoples there are much friendly and helpful.Peoples of Hadigaun worship Godes Durga , Ganesh and Lord Pasupatinath.

Inner Hadigaun is peaceful.

Culturally rich with a lot of jatras and festival, is one of the oldest palce in the Capital.
