Perfect place for working, chilling, dating or even reading a book. The cafe is peaceful with chill vibes. The food is really good and they have amazing range of cold and hot drinks. The ambience is amazing with plants everywhere. If you are a coffee enthusiast then this is a Nepali coffee paradise. They also have these coffee processing machines that might interest you and level up the vibe. The place has really good hygiene and cleanliness. The staffs are super friendly and humble. Loved my time here. In terms of affordability the prices are on a higher range.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere! This coffee house in Thamel-Kathmandu is one of the best coffee houses I have ever visited. The place is huge, the ambience is lovely, the food is superb and the service is fine. Highly recommended for a coffee break with friends.

Excellent ambience and great location. You can clearly view the aerial view of the Narayanhiti palace situated diagonally opposite to this cafe. This cafe is on the fifth floor of the mall. They have decent choice of menu from pasta to pizzas and coffee and cool drinks. The pizza ordered was average in taste and not that great. The service was good and fast. Very customer friendly. An ideal place for hangout with friends One can enjoy the panoramic view of the palace and the city and mountains from here. Ideal for all tourists to visit

Highly recommended place, be careful with shopping temptations though, cos you have wonderful things all around you that will easily tempt you to buying more thank you budgeted for. Be sure to check the tax for the prices if you're new, because the menu has a different price and you'll end up paying extra for tax.. Prices are not too bad though. Now, some of the team here are respectful and friendly, while some others are a little disrespectful otherwise without manners. The space is so perfect for relaxation while having a work from home, or a coffee with friend(s) or even as a group in general... Overall, it is a good place to come have a good cup of coffee.

The coffee was great 👍🏼 staff were nice. I didn't like Shakshouka it had too mych of spices. Atmosphere is fine except there is a place for selling stuff! Inside the cafe. Basic pizza

Great place for breakfast and coffee. Quite pricey but that's to be expected for the type of good food they have. Large coffee is really large and the shop has great atmosphere. Good clean sit toilets too.

The food and drinks were delicious, the place is very spacious with plenty of tables and good ambiance to work. Prices are slightly higher than similar cafés but food quality and service efficiency do justice.

Can't beat this place in Kathmandu, imo. This location is very big, but still has some comfy couch-type seats, and it's cool looking, and just fun to be in. It looks recently remodeled/ painted. Great selection of food, good tea and coffee. They really know what they're doing, excellent on all fronts, food, atmosphere and service. This is definitely my favorite coffee place in Kathmandu. ***WARNING IF YOU ARE OVER 6 FEET TALL, DUCK GOING TO THE BATHROOM OR ELSE YOU WILL HIT YOUR HEAD.***

It's a nice western style cafe chain in Nepal. The coffee was consistently good; I had the Australian style cappuccino, which is a decent cup compared to back home. Do not come here for a cultural experience, this is a nice place to come if you need a reminder of home.

This place is very noisy. Ambience not that good and comfortable to relax. And the taste of coffee was just ok not that strong and warm as well. Thank u.😊

The reviews that said it has a shop atmosphere have it halfway right. There are some spots that are away from the shopping and lend themselves to being a better place to sit and work. Good WiFi. Decent coffee. Nice outside area as well.

Nice coffee place to relax and have a nice warm drink. On a side note, I wish more coffee places would offer brown sugar or zero cal as an alternative to regular granulated white sugar.

One of the first Java in Nepal. Nice remodel, great foods. I was bummed to find out it was buy 1 get 1 coffee day and no one offered! Also, the wifi was pretty bad so I had to change my location.

I've been to this Himalayan Java cafe in the past in 2012, 2015 and just recently in 2021. I wasn't to impressed with the new layout and how things were done. The old version of the store was a lot more welcoming and better. They have a OR Store inside it, not sure why. I can never find plugs as well, you have to sit by certain parts to use it. I liked the outside seating area they had years ago as well. It left a bit of charm and wasn't to modern which Thamel needs to remember not to change too much or else it will just become another Starbucks and Thailand with tourism.

We had French press coffee, a latte, and hot chocolate for the kids. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The place manages to look modern and cozy at the same time. Probably the best coffee shop in Kathmandu.

Great spot to hang out for a bit, lots of seating, variety on the menu, and good coffee. I had the shakshuka (not something I expected to find in kathamndu!) and it was good!

The food is good, the space is fine But the service is very slow when crowded Difficult to communicate in English They had an issue with card payment on the first visit, but it was solved in the second visit The second visit was around 8 pm , almost closing time. It was quite, not much of costumers in. Hence, the service was fast They cell variety of coffee beans Overall , I would go there again

French toast was mushy and very disappointing, likewise the croissant did not have the side dish that is served in other branches of himalayan java, this is the worst himalayan java i have been to. i would not recommend anyone to go here. waste of money.

Great service, good drinks, amazing chicken avocado sandwich and a cozy atmosphere :) Edit: during second visit I ordered double latte and it was much smaller than the day before (actually it was a regular latte in paper cup instead of ceramic mug). The waiter said their were run out of big mugs, but still charged me for a double sized latte...

Been coming here for more than a decade and their quality had been steadily going into the gutter. Service is still great but the food and coffee are barely average. When you pay a premium for their coffee, you expect premium quality. They used to serve fries with their burger but now they serve stale potato chips, and the burger itself tastes like wet cardboard. The only thing that's been going up is their prices. An Americano is about 250 while the average burger/sandwich is a around 750. The only saving grace is the balcony seating.

The pizza here was fantastic - yes, as weird as that sounds the pizza here was fantastic. We got the mushroom pizza and the margherita pizza - both of them had a great crisp and tons of flavor. Also the coffee here was great, no complaints what so ever - they had some really amazing coffee machines and the beans were extremely fresh and delicious. The space was huge on the second floor - indoors and outdoors, very open with a ton of seating and very well decorated. A really cute coffee shop. I would say their cookies/cakes/desserts were not good. The cookies were hard and probably a bit old.

Absolutely faboulous place. Had very good coffee (either the daily fresh brew or the espresso). Been there 3-4 Times for breakfast and tried various food. Omlett with spinach is simple but very good. They have the special sandwich that is a hugh portion but was exactly what I needed after 16 days of trekking. Very delicious and all made of quality ingredients. You can also use card to pay.

What did you do with that space? After revamp feels like you are seeing in a clothes shop, which is actually true for half a space. Horrible! And of course VAT not included in the prices on the menu, which is against Nepali law. Coffee and service are great! But overall - fix your VAT unlawful practice, please and reverse the space to what it was. You destroyed beautiful cafe.

In the heart of kathmandu the coffee and food here are splendid and the staff are very friendly, the only problem is lack of free parking space.
