Today’s
flight
to
Lukla
from
Kathmandu
has
been
cancelled
due
to
bad
weather.
I
took
the
opportunity
to
visit
a
memorable
coffee
shop
for
me
when
I
was
completing
a
master
degree
in
the
Kathmandu
School
of
Law.
The
shop
is
just
opposite
of
my
hostel
and
I
spent
quite
sometimes
writing
my
thesis
and
assignments
here.
Glad
to
know
that
they
are
expanding
their
Barista
Training
Center
to
the
eastern
part
of
Nepal.
The
center
is
for
any
individual
who
is
planning
to
go
abroad
or
want
to
be
in
the
specialty
coffee
business.
Espresso
Organic
Coffee
House
is
part
of
the
Nepal
Coffee
Producers
Association
(NCPA)
that
actively
involved
in
exporting
coffee
and
agricultural
goods
to
the
international
market.
Apil
informed
me
that
they
are
almost
in
the
process
of
opening
a
new
coffee
plantation
to
meet
the
demand
for
Nepali
coffee
in
the
domestic
and
international
market.
Nepali
loves
coffee,
the
demand
in
the
country
is
increasing.
However,
one
of
the
biggest
challenges
is
getting
labor
to
work
on
their
coffee
plantation
in
Ilam.
Most
young
people
go
out
to
the
city
or
abroad
to
work.
Most
of
those
left
are
only
old
people
and
do
not
fit
the
needs.
I
pray
that
their
plans
go
smoothly
and
be
successful.
