The teas and the shop are kept in a very good and professional way. I bought the Handrolled Golden Black tea and the Masala Milk tea, and I really enjoy them. I recommend you to visit this place when you are in Kathmandu. It was amazing! ONe of my best food memories traveling! I loved it!

One of the best Tea House I have ever visited. It's a hidden gem in Kathmandu. They have amazing collection of tea. They brew it just perfectly. I really enjoyed the tea tasting session. White peoke tea was the best.

Amazing place if you like tea. They have really cheap offers and more expensive ones too. If one pot is too little they refill it to use your tea a second time for cheap.It is perfect for sitting down and relax, read a book and taste different teas. Friendly staff, nice chilled out atmosphere and not crowded. They also have good wifi and a toilet if you need. It is one of my favourite places to chill in Kathmandu.

At the Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel, the best tea I've ever had. I've been there and had a fantastic tea, and the staff was friendly and the service was good. I advise you to consume it in order to improve your day.

Ended our trip here with a pot of tea within the quiet and peaceful courtyard of Kathmandu Guest House. Teafresho offers a great variety of white, green, golden, black and herbal tea. Good quality and very reasonable prices - we got ourselves multiple bags of loose tea leaves for consumption back home. The owner and her son know their teas well and were very generous in sharing their knowledge and samples of the various teas.

Very nice and cosy place in very good location where one can simply sit, relax, enjoy the tea and feel like at home, forgetting for a while it's in the centre of Kathmandu. I really like the idea of tea sessions. Plenty of natural Nepali teas to choose from, also coffee, snacks and tea sets are available. Personally I can recommend Herbal Booster (a real booster!) and Dark Hills. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Nice tea shop with great quality and prices. You can even sit down and have a cup of tea. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When we wanted to purchase a specific type of tea that was out of stock, they ran to their storage area and brought some for us in 5 minutes. Great tea, service and price! What more can you ask for

Teafresho is an excellent tea shop located near the Thamel in Kathmandu center. This small shop offers good variety of teas cultivated in Nepal. It is not a touristic place, it mostly serves the local people. I strongly recommend the Teafresho as your shop for good tea in Kathmandu.

Fantastic hidden gem in Thamel! Excellent and knowledgable staff with a great passion for all things tea. I visited on two separate occassions during my visit to Nepal and they did not disappoint (my tea shelf can be a testament to that!). Wide variety of stock, experienced staff and great hospitality overall. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect place for your tea gossip

Small, cute shop with a knowledgeable owner and tea expert. Our group came in for a tea tasting and he was extremely accommodating to our many requests. We tried about 8 different brews and he would adjust the brew style to our taste palettes. We also got to learn a lot about the different parts of the tea leaves and how it would affect the taste of the tea. Everyone left happy and with gifts in our hands.
