Red mud is unquestionably good for their coffee and I don't mind visiting them for lunch, office informal meetings and sometimes to get my work done. Being able to choose the warm sunlight during winter and shades during winter is a plus point with their remarkable interior. With all these things,I also definitely wanna mention why free things always have to be so bad- the lemonade they serve as complementary during lunch hour is so bad.

If you're ever in the mood to waste your money on bland, tasteless food, this is the place for you. I paid Rs. 500 for their coveted Hungry Man's Burger only to get two generic slabs of store bought patties lathered in a tub of mayonnaise and stuffed between a bun. Who puts that much mayonnaise on a burger? Honestly!! The funny thing is, that was the best dish from the lot that me and my friends ordered. The "chicken" chowmien tasted like a massive plate of nothing. Absolutely no flavor! And the audacity of the place to call it CHICKEN chowmien with barely ten pieces of tiny cut up pieces of chicken nuggets in it. The Szechuan Chicken Bowl was a catastrophe; more 'lemon-water-sugar-and-red chilli' in flavor than anything even remotely close to Chinese cuisine. And finally, the Chicken Manchurian bowl. Prisoners get better meals than whatever was served to us in that bowl. It was pretty much rice doused in Kent's Chicken Mushroom soup... With a couple of pieces of chicken in it. The sad thing is, this place used to serve pretty decent food. What a disappointment. Extremely disappointed.

Honestly the taste of coffee didn't impress me. Smoking at designated no smoking zone. However, the staffs were polite and nice. This place has a great scope provided they improvise on managing customers going there for coffee and ones going for alcoholic beverages. Nice location and area. Near a paid parking.

It’s a nice place to hangout with friends. Coffee is amazing and they also have choose cake that is absolutely mouth watering. Food menu is also available which is equally good.

Update : The taste has degraded The ambience, service and coffee is good. A little out of pocket but worth the location and taste. Evenings are usually pack here.

We really had bad experience with Redmud Coffee New Baneshwor. We visited the Redmud Coffee franchise located in New Baneshwor, registered under the name "Naurange Cafe Pvt Ltd", to enjoy some coffee and snacks. We ordered Americano, Caramel Macchiato, Cheese Cake and French Fries. Initially, the staff refused to provide us with a VAT bill. After some discussion, they agreed to give us a VAT bill but informed us that there would be an additional 13% charge on the menu prices for the VAT bill. Despite informing them that this was not legal and that we would report them, they didn't care and insisted on the additional charge. We had to pay the extra 13% at that time. To substantiate our claim, I took photos of the food menu showing prices and the VAT bill, which are attached herewith. The prices in the VAT bill have an additional 13% added to them. We've already reported this and hope that the respective department will take action against them and such other businesses.

Good place to hangout for casual, business or family meetings. Good view of surrounding. Loved the service but had to wait too long for the table because of some maintenance work. Electronic way if taking orders and bills through tab was appreciated which reduced the wastage of paper. The only point i am deducting is for my hot chocolate being too creamy.

Service is nice. Coffee tastes only okay-ish. Food same. Parking situation is annoying. But it is a quite place where you can work with your laptop

The ambience was good but worst peach ice tea.

I loved both dragon style chicken and momo. Drinks were also good. But I was disappointed at the counter. They charged us extra 13% on the total. When asked why? She said the new menu is yet to be printed. We don't remember in the menu if it was written anywhere but in the wall where at least the menu and price of the drink was mentioned, it was written inclusive of all taxes. If it was not printed they could have written by their hands.

Ambient place with good coffee selection and also some bites to have (burger, wraps...) Price is also reasonable on the menu items and friendly staff

Coffee and drinks are good with reasonable prices. I tried the english breakfast and it was soooo dissapointing. I used to visit it few years back and compared to now the food has degraded very badly.

Nice place, great location to have a good view of Baneshwor’s chaotic traffic, good food and service.

A great hangout. Has a great seating arrangement and serves good food. Not much 🍨 ice-cream options else it's one of the good ones in town.

Used to be a great place but not anymore. Management be serious or lose your business at least from me. You call it chicken chowmin but barely there are few pieces of chicken nuggets. What an embarrassment. If chicken is that expensive raise your price but don't compromise in quality

A really cozy place to have some good time with good drinks and affordable good food. However the seats in the place really need some maintenance as there were many tables/couch seats were torn. Would definitely visit again for the prompt service and good food.

Loved the place. Wonderful ambience. Coffee and hot chocolate was too good. They made it just too much creamy 😅 Good place for hangout and wonderful pictures to take. Perfect for an evening outing. Bakery items were good but not so satisfactory. Recommended place for a good cup of coffee and hangout with friends.

I used to go to this place frequently. But now suddenly I can see the inconsistency in the quantity(just a small side note I had those dishes before too so I know what the quantity used to be). The QUANTITY is very very disappointing. And also the complain QR scanner doesn’t work at all. I loved this place very much but now I really don’t think I’ll step in. THE QUANTITY IS CERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.
