Well located place for authentic nepali food/ Thakali food. Service and food were good quality. Cheap and reasonable prices. One place that they could improve is the atmosphere. It was really hot inside. Overall, good place.

Okey of the best test of foods maintained from years! Two thing never change for this restaurant, 1) The best test n service , 2) and Cauliflower in all Thali Set ;)

The thakali food cafe is in babarmahal which is heart of Kathmandu, it is nearly district court of Kathmandu valley. This cafe's atmosphere is very nice went over there with family it's awesome 👍 we should get Nepal dal, Bhat, etc totally Nepal food lunch and dinner also, we can get veg non veg food food also . We can get fast food the thakali food cafe

The chicken thali was tasty and filling. We also had chicken momo here. Taste was too good.

The price is quite reasonable for the items and the service is fast. I often go here for The Thakali Set which is tastiest during the office hours when its their first batches of the day.

We went there because our other plans got cancelled! Food was good and they didn't keep us waiting even during New year rush. Fast service good food and perfect location with ample parking space! Do give this place a try, you won't be disappointed 😉

Service of Thakali Thali is faster than expected bit other items takes time to serve in pick hours.

The best place to have Nepali khana. I like khana also other fast food items here are tasty. Also, they have reasonable prices for the food and the quantity they serve. And the staff there are also amazing. Just hit in there when you miss ghar ko mam and you are alone at home to cook.

Foo is good but the service depends on what you are ordering. For example let's say someone orders some costly items then they serve well and they offer extra things like multiple time ghee. In another hand if someone orders some basic things then they treat you as normal which means they cut the extra things. Me and my friends face this treatment multiple times.

The space is quite large, so no worries if you are going there in large group. Thakali Thali is average. The most annoying thing is service, guys don't turn up after yelling out multiple times for addition of dishes. I had to literally get up twice while eating to request them to add Rice, dal, saag etc. When I asked for a dry papad they didn't get it and when I asked why didn't the papad come, they said it's not free. I requested them to get one for which I will pay, but still they didn't get it. It was an embarrassing experience for me.

Haven't tried anything other than the Thakali Khaana dish here, and can say for sure, they serve it best for the price. As for the parking, they have it managed in front of the cafe. And yeah, the location is well accessible.

Good place for Daal Bhaat and khasiko masu. This place has a huge mobility of people, so bringing down the price could help them get more people. Moreover, the profit margin per plate could reduce but total transactions would increase.

I been going to this restaurant for a long time especially for daal bhat they have never disappointed me.

Worst place to eat . They make you wait and the food is really bad . Savai basi khane kura hunxa jaile ..i tried their food .. nan ra butter masala haru ta khadai nakhanu .. i dont know how they get away with such basi food ... Do not EVER take away foood from their .. sav basi halera pathaidinxa .i almost had to vomit and could not sleep the middle of the night .

I had chicken momo there and i was amazed by the size of the momo.... it was totally worth it but the price is little expensive compared to standard momo price. The service was delayed too.

I went there regular for a week and tried different dishes. I was average the chicken and fish's quantity is very low. The chicken biryani is below average.

Worst Thakali Kitchen ever. The chicken was floating in the sea of water. Tasteless chicken. Service staffs were rude, actually they were throwing the food out on us. Not a place to dine in. Highly recommend, not to visit.
