I had a great time on the Langtang trek. My guide and porter were friendly and provided everything. The views are extraordinary. I will like to return in Nepal and go on another trek with them. I took us 3 days to reach Kyanjin Gompa, while going up trough a beautiful jungle, full on monkeys and beautiful birds. The guys from Trekking Team Group were friendly and careful, always trying to take care of me. We discussed about the local culture, plants, animals and beautiful summits. I would for sure recommend Trekking Team Group, and also Bijay and Ravi , my companions on the trek

Our firs experience trekking in Nepal. We have found TTG in Rough guide among other agencies and they answered very clearly proposing us a laid back hike as we didn't want anything too extreme since the monsoon season and the lack of clear view of the mountains. Shree has been very kind and available in showing all the alternative and also very honest telling us that during monsoon you may not see the mountains. We met him at TTG office and have a nice chat, picked the trekking and dates. We then got contacted by our guide, Birman, very professionally he met us the day before and explained all the details. Despite being a short and easy hike he took it seriously and advised us on how to prepare and get ready. We finally spent 3 beautiful days, Bir become a brother and the time flew by, talking and explaining the surroundings every now and then. The accommodations were top notch, all the trekking were greatly organized in all the details. We will definitely come back and have other bigger hikes with them, thanks TTG for this glimpse of the Himalayas!

Hi, I had my experience with Trekking Team Group and it was really positive. We were a group of three and wrote them in the end of July for a quick planning of a trip to Upper Mustang mid August. The usual tour is scheduled to 12 days but we only had 8 days, so we came up with the specific request to have a mixed trekking-jeep tour in order to save time and fit it to our need. They were really quick to collect our request and set up an 8 days tour, leaving for Pokhara. The price they proposed was really competitive too. Our guide for those days was Bir and we had great time with him. He is very experienced and careful to our needs during the day, the treks, meals and places we slept at. He is also very passionate about letting us know the culture of the region and of Nepal in general. Always ready to answer to the hundreds of questions I was making him! Also, I think he was flexible to change the program of the trip according to our request: we wanted to trek "as much as possible" (still according to our physical conditions!) and after knowing each other, and having seen our ability and commitment to trek, Bir managed to arrange very beautiful trekking stages that suited out level. In summary, I really recommend to pick Trekking Team Group (and Bir!) for a trek in Nepal. I (we) will try to come back as well for some Himalaya experience soon!

In October 2022 my wife and me spent a 3 week holiday in Nepal using the services of Treking Team Group ( TTG ) in Kathmandu and its speciality - Manaslu circuit. Before I will briefly describe what happened I have to write here down that this copmany is fully professional, with long history of serving their clients all over the world. After the arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu we easily found the representative of TTG ( the nephew of the director ) who was already waitig for us in the arrival hall. He was waiting inside the building while the other companies have been waiting outside it near the parking place. I forgot to ask why but after the long all night flight it was pleasant to find our parnter so quickly. After the short drive ( with a comfortable and clean car ) we were warmly welcome by Srihari - the director of TTG at the simple but comfortable Mandala Boutique Hotel near the Thamel - turistic centre of Kathmandu. On the next day together Srihari and his nephew showed us the "best of" Kathmandu with interesting explanation of the history and presence of the Nepal capital. In the aftrenoon at the hotel they introduced us our trekking guide Hari and detailly explained our trip. They also were very helpful to buy some small missing things that we were supposed to have in the mountains. The situation up there was not ideal, better said it was complicated because of unexpeted snowfall in the previous days and also because of massive landslides on the trek. We agreed on slightly modified program because of all this unexepcted issues and next morning we left the hotel for Soti Khola. Next day we started our 15 days trek of the Manaslu circuit with in four : my wife and me, our guide Hari and Omis - the porter. During these 15 days we not only passed the highest point of the trek : Larke Pass - 5109 meters of altitude but also did several whole day aclimatisation but interesting sidetrips to the places like Punggen Gumba monastery, Manaslu Base Camp, Tibetian border, Ponkar Lake and many half day walks aside. During these 15 days we hade to declare several times that we have the best guide on the trek. Even in the complicated situations ( when some groups gave up and return ), like the massive landslide between Jagat and Deng, he always knew what to do and always found out simple and save solution. Real proffesional! Thanks to him we were able to fully enjoy the trekking days in the altitudes over 4500 meters and crossing the Larke Pass was nearly "icing on the cake". During the days we did not have any altitude disease, diarrhea problems, lack of equipment, no uncertain points. And after more than 2 weeks in the mountains we were warmly welcome by Srihari in Kathmandu at the same hotel with a feeling that we returned home. Again TTG - these are guys that know what they are doing! Highly recommended.

I've been trekking twice before to Nepal when I was much younger and didn't use a guide or porter back then. This time I did, and was lucky to have Birman as guide and Foure as porter. From beginning to end this was an excellent experience. Bir took good care of my friend and I, always finding a room at the lodges for us despite this being peak fall season. Bir made sure we ate well, had enough blankets, and were safe on the trail. Despite lots of competition for flights, we had no trouble arriving and leaving Lukla on the days intended. I had some trouble with the lack of oxygen on one day going over Cho La pass, and Bir made sure we stopped to rest--and breathe--as needed. I liked the company's policy about responsible tourism and was happy not ordering bottled water. Bir used his steripen to purify every bottle of tap water and my friend and I never had any tummy trouble. Shree was very helpful before and after the trek, and proved an excellent manager. I would highly recommend Trekking Team Group to anyone going to Nepal.

We did the manaslu circuit with tsum valley and booked directly on site in the office in kathmandu. Very good advice from Shree. the trekking is very well organized, Hari and DK were great companions - we felt very comfortable the whole time. Due to snowfall we could not cross the pass although we tried at first. Came up to almost 4900 meters above sea level. The whole time we felt safe and well looked after. We'll be back for sure! We can warmly recommend Trekking Team Group.

This is the second year that I travel to the Himalayas with TTG. I have done several treks with Trekking Team Group. From the beginning TTG have been very professional, friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. Shreehari is very experienced and knowledgeable and able to organise everything and anything, even with very short notice. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and comfortable. We had a very interesting and good experience with TTG. They followed our wish to make a flexible trip with possibilities to take day hikes, side trips and so on. We visited the world second highest bungyjump place (did not try it though but fun to look at), Kalopeni (with view of 2 Mountain over 8000m!), beautiful and quiet Titi lake, Marpha (charming Apple Town) Muktinath (cold but very intens religious atmosphere at the temple), Jomsom (views from the hotelroom of the small planes land and arrive at the airport strip) and hot springs and a waterfall in Tatopeni. First we planned on going with just a jeep and a driver. But we decided to take a guide with us. And this was a really good idea! The guide Bijay Pathak, was very good to find places we liked, both when it came to accomodation, day hikes, food we should try and so on. He was ready to change the itinary if he or we heard of a good place to visit, or when one of us got sick for a day. He even brought carsick medicine for our daughter (he is a pharmacist apart from guide). He was very good with 3 our kids (6, 8, 11 years) and they played a lot of cardgames with him! We also will like to highlight our driver. The roads in Lower mustang was very bad some places when we were there. And it is very bumpy and narrow. Our driver was very experienced (12 years experience in that area). We felt safe with him. He also had some good ideas and tips for places to go and hotels and restaurants to visit. All in all our warmest recommendations on going with Team Trekking Group on a family Jeep trip in the lower mustang area.

During April 2023 we organized a 23-day trek in the Everest region with Trekking Team Group. Communication beforehand was quick, clear and Mr. Shreehari was always helpful. After arrival in Kathmandu we had a pleasant meeting at the office in Thamel where we were introduced to our guide Santosh. My wife and I were looking for a flexible hike without a pre-determined schedule. Santosh, also known as the 'emerging star' within the trekking agency was a perfect fit for this. Always smiling and always energetic he guided us over 2 high mountain passes and three peaks. Adjusting to the circumstances (bad weather, food poisoning) he took our health and happiness seriously and made sure we arrived back in Kathmandu safely. Santosh knows the area and many of its people well which made our trek more fun. Appart from all the natural highlights he also brought us into beautiful monasteries where we experienced intense ceremonies. And we got to meet his brothers, their fellow monks and teachers at the Lukla monastery at the end of our trip. We were especially happy with Santosh' willingness to join forces with two friends of us and their guide. Those seven days were fantastic. Last but not least Santosh was most capable of getting us through the most difficult sections of the trek safely. All in all we are extremely satisfied with both the Trekking Team Group and our guide Santosh. It's been a smooth, enjoyable and beautiful experience and we would not hesitate to trek with Santosh again.

Recently did a fairly long trek in Nepal that involved accommodations in Kathmandu, travel by car to Jiri, trekking into and around the Khumbu with a guide and porters, flying back to Kathmandu from Lukla, and spending some days in Kathmandu. Trekking Team Group (TTG) arranged everything very thoroughly. More importantly, when things needed to be changed due to unforeseen problems, TTG was very quick to respond, to solve any problems, and to make arrangements that made everything work out. Everyone involved with TTG, from the owner to the guides to the porters, is knowledgeable, responsible, and very caring for the clients.

We found Trekking Team Group on the internet based on their website and very quick reponse to our questions. They organized all aspects of a trek around the Manaslu circuit for our family of 4 and everything worked efficiently and as planned. We added three extra days for a total of 17 to allow for additional side trips - be sure to plan a layover day in Bimtang after the pass. The cost was good compared to some other companies. They hit the right balance of quality at a reasonable price. The guides / porters (Hari, Arjun, Bikram) were professional, very attentive and personable. In no time we felt like we were hiking with friends and our sons (age 19 and 20) really hit it off with them. Their recommendation of a hotel in Kathmandu (Hotel Nirvana) was also good. We'd highly recommend TTG!

"Annapurna base camp trek” Group of friend of mine have decided to take some adventure trip during our vacation, so we finally decided to take Annapurna base camp as a challenge. The trek was a bit hard for some people as there was lots of up and down but the views everyday made our trip worthwhile. The village such as landrung, Ghandrung and chomrung are well known Gurung village with super hospitality .Once we arrive at Annapurna base camp the view was unforgettable, we were surrounded by eight thousanders . The night was quite cold at base camp to spend but every moment is worth of spending. Our guide Arjun and porters shyam and nava were great we had lots of fun every day. They are so experience and able to tell us lots of story. Thanks to Trekking Team Group for the wonderful assistance.This will certainly be not the last trip with you.

September 2023 Balthali hike, Pokhara sightseeing and 3 day trek to Australian camp: We are returning customers with TTG for the last 10 years. It is a reliable, well run business with a great staff. This time we booked a short hike to Balthali followed by a visit to Nemo Boudha and other landmarks, all in a day from Kathmandu. Next, a day of sightseeing in Pokhara followed by a 3 day light trek from Hemja to Astam, Dhampus and the Australian camp. As my wife is recovering from injury, all booking was delayed to literally the last minute. Thanks to Shree's flexibility, a full package was tailored within a day. We enjoyed great viewes on all hikes, mixing agricultural landscapes with mountain forests and the occasional white peaks. The stays were well picked and were very enjoyable. The guides were highly commited, easy going and attentive, just as we remember them from previous treks: Arjun and Birman. It was great to reconnect and enjoy their company and guidance through the land. September 2019 Gokyo lake trek (written in 2019): I booked with TTG a trek to the Gokyo lakes, returning via Renjo La. Truly - the Best of Nepal! We, a group of 5 , had booked the "14 days Best Of Nepal Tour" with TTG. Shreehari and his team were absolutely brilliant from the moment we met at the airport until the last day we were safely brought to the airport. We did so much in those 2 weeks! We saw the rich cultural highlights and treasures of the Kathmandy-Valley, fascinating pagodas, temples and palaces. We trekked around the stunning Annapurna region, through beautiful little villages, where we helped processing coffee and milking the cow. We relaxed by the shores of the Phewa Lake and had stunning food in Pokhara. We saw the glorious mountains in the rising sun and went on Safari in Chitwan. Here we observed rhinos and participated in the local life which was a very memorable experience. All in all it was a true and beautiful encounter with the people and the culture of Nepal. Wow, where to begin?!! From the moment of being met with at airport by Shree and our driver Kim, we knew we were in great hands. The experiences we had were something I'll treasure for the rest of my life. Shree was an absolute gent at all times, always ready to have fun, very knowledgeable and above all, flexible. Our driver Kim was also immense, quite probably the most patient driver in the world, very articulate and knowledgeable himself. We visited temples, palaces, went trekking for 3 days in the foothills beneath Anapurna, went for safari in Chitwan National Park, lived like a local for 3 days, danced, prepared super, went fishing watched by elephants (!), ate in some amazing restaurants and stayed in a mix of hotels and bed and breakfast establishments and lots more. Our schedule was packed, we came away absolutely blown away by the country and the people. Shree and the team absolutely aced it for us and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you my friend.

The best option to do any trip in Nepal or Tibet. Local team of people, with great knowledge of the places and people, and very professionals. We have traveled 2 times with them, and both trip were just perfect. Two years ago we trekked to Everest Base Camp, and this year to Tibet. Both of them are difficult trips, but were excellent organized from them. They are very kind, frienfly and helpful in all the process, before the trip when planning, during and after.

I had a brilliant experience climbing Poon Hill with Trekking Team Group. Our guides Bir and Bim were outstanding and full of energy. We had a great time with them and they made the trek very entertaining. We stayed in wonderful places, especially the lovely accomodation at the beginning and end of the hike and we got everything that we wanted out of the trip. I will definitely be using Trekking Team Group if I return to Nepal. We were in very experienced hands for the whole duration of the trip. Additionally, I was impressed with their commitment to sustainability - we did not use single-use plastics on the trip, instead refilling our bottles and using purifying pens. Impressive all round!

I would highly recommend trekking with the Team Trekking Group - our guides Birman and Bimal were outstanding: really friendly with great local knowledge of the area and great at aiding me in with my asthma in the times I began to struggle. The tea houses we stayed in along the way were of high quality and the food we were given delicious, it was nice that this was paid for in advance so there was nothing to worry about on the trip itself. The trek was also ensured as physically manageable and sustainable as possible through the use of a Steripen to purify water meaning the need for only one water bottle to be carried. Really enjoyed the experience.
