The hospital is neat and clean, the decoration are like 5 star hotels, and hospital is only made for high class rich family, u wont find any place for poor people. The money we pay is only for the standard they are trying to maintain not on the service. But at least we can say its better to die in BMW rather than cycle. They even dont have their own parking. For private parking we have to pay heavy price as even for minor check ups we have to wait longer hours. The hospital is destroyed by Politicians, actors and high profiles.

OPD is flooded with patient, even when arriveat time of my allotment I always have to wait for 1-2 hrs for my turn. But still I've been visiting Dr. Pankaj Jalan and Dr. Ramesh Chokhani for 5 years for now and I feel that Norvic do have a good team to provide medical facility. What they lack is the management to handle the rising patient traffic.

Great Beautiful Hospital, services are ok here but who charged parking fee to the person visiting Hospital. That's ridiculous form of earning extra money. (As per previous review, I find they dnt have their own parking space) What is the use of appointment if you have to wait longer in line? Some staffs behavior is beyond 👎. Quite expensive hospital.

Nice hospital with several facilities at an international standard. Santized and clean all the time. Staffs are quite good as well considering how busy it gets. Overall, a great hospital if you care for health rather than money.

This hospital is worse than 1*. They try to charge me 10,375npr for only consultation fee, compare to 800npr for other patients The only reason is: I am foreinger, while the service they offer between locals and foreingers is the same. Worst DISCRIMINATION ever. They have zero medical ethics, not sure how they can practice medicine. They claim that they have a right to charge differently (13 times higher) because airports in Nepal do the same @@

Norvic International Hospital provide you the best service with experienced Doctors and Nurses. Hospital has latest technologies of MRI and CT machines. They provide international level of Health Service but still we can see the management of hospital unable to mange well.

Nirvic Hospital provides good service, but it is considered expensive. Dr. Ramesh Chokhani, one of the best doctors in Nepal for lung-related conditions, practices at this hospital. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking specialized care in this field. My experience at Nirvic Hospital was generally positive. The staff was professional, courteous, and attentive throughout my visit. The hospital facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for patients. Dr. Ramesh Chokhani's expertise in lung-related conditions is widely recognized, and I was fortunate to have him as my doctor. He demonstrated a thorough understanding of my condition and provided me with a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. His approach was compassionate, and he took the time to address all my concerns and answer my questions. However, it is important to note that the services at Nirvic Hospital come at a higher cost compared to some other healthcare facilities in the area. While the quality of care is commendable, the expenses associated with consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatments should be taken into consideration. It is advisable to inquire about the pricing beforehand or check if insurance coverage is available to mitigate the financial impact. In summary, Nirvic Hospital offers good service with a focus on lung-related conditions, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Ramesh Chokhani. Despite the higher costs associated with the hospital, the quality of care and the reputation of the doctor make it a recommended choice for individuals seeking specialized treatment for lung issues.

One of my friend admitted and several batches of doctors came but nothing happened. And after dragging for one whole day with the huge amount payment we just discharged and transferred to hams hospital which took the patient so carefully and immediately took the action. Poor management but only looking for money !

I came to this hospital recently after 8 years. I had visited this hospital at 2014 at that time the hospital management was very very perfect. Mean the quality of the the management, service was 8 in 10 ie 8/10. Now visited this hospital 23 May 2022 to 27 May. I feel and found it’s totally different and I was shocked !!! Really ! Is this Norvic….. hospital !! The service, punctuality, care of patient was totally horrible. There was not a even good system, quality, management, good manners in many nurses. We always, every time, moment respect the doctors and nurses of any health care services. Technically, the internship nurses, who came to pay to Norvic and came for learning, practice, they are calling their friends by shouting loudly. I noticed they didn’t care other patients about disturb. Also feel the senior doctors in their round to visit patients, didn’t humble and less interested, interacted to their own patients. I found the doctors also feeling tired, rest less. Feel just came for money, not for the patients treatment or providing services. The hospital was so dirty, badly smelling, fully crowded of patients relatives. Recently I/we discussed and found 1 in 10 ie. 1/10 rating. 👉Hopefully further upcoming time, the hospital will more honest & concern about the patients, and will improve the every management & system. Otherwise peoples have another more choices.👈

Demanded my brother pay $10000 cash to release me after 8 days. This is literally against the UN charter o human rights violations, called kidnapping. Pilfered my belongings. Went in in good physical condition, came out looking like concentration camp survivor, even unable to stand or wa K, and lost hearing. Than they demanded another $2200. When my nephew saw me he wanted to take me to a real hospital. This place should be closed.

Patient brought in the Emergency @ 4:30 am with irritability restless and agitation with some self inflicted wound about 3 cm size in the forehead on march 17. The medical team donot open iv line and donot address the main concern of restlessness but to a surprise the med team first does a ct scan of head. Some person on the team laugh at the activities of the patient in the er but not bothered about the symptoms and diagnosis. Very unprofessional team and incompetence shown today. Not bothering to make a complain. To make things worse during admission, one of the team of the ward tells its a hospital policy to put someone with agitation in icu with all stable vital signs. To add the bill of telephone consultation(without permission of patient and incompetent doctors decision of consultation) rs 1500 per person without even touching a patient. Incompetent doctors consulting different departments and the price of it being paid by the patient. Last but not the least if you donot understand medicine the pharmacy will charge you with medications that was not even prescribed.(photo attached).

The hospital is now known as one of the greatest critical care hospitals in the country, and it continues to be a full-service, multi-specialty care center that is classified as an International Hospital. Norvic is widely regarded as the most credible healthcare center in the country, dedicated to providing quality health care in the service of the nation through personalized and compassionate patient care. It is also known for being the country's first private healthcare provider.

Standard Room (4400) The infrastructure provided didnt justify the price charged. No dustbin provided, ( i asked them to change the bed matresss because it was bumpy in the middle area but it was not responded). Although the cleaning staffs were regular. I found the staff unfriendly. Also they behave as so it would cost them to provide information. I hope I dont have to visit again.

If there was an option to rate this hospital below 1, I would have done that. This pathetic hospital detected heart attack for my father and also advised to insert pace maker without angiogram. They had also stated that the patient has a cardio issue. I bought my parents to bangalore and my father was diagnosed with no cardiac ailment. The heart was healthy after conducting angiogram and there was no need of pace maker. The issue was related to lungs and that too it is sorted now. There was no lungs infection and cardiac issue. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!! Never go to this hospital.... the Doctors are just doing their business and have absolutely no care about the patients. Any educated person would have known that the issue was not related to cardiac. If I had not called my parents to Bangalore. MY FATHER WOULD HAVE SUFFERED!!!!!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR LOVED ONES AND BOYCOTT THIS HOSPITAL !!!!!

Price is of five star but service quality and toilets are pathetic. Patient will be more sick if they are admitted in standard or general ward due to air quality and toilet condition. Poor management just intention to earn profit. This is the condition of toilet whole day.

I went to Dr Ramesh Chokhani in Norvic 1.5 years ago. My reports showed eosinophilia> 20% but he missed the diagnosis and brushed it off as Asthma. If he had been vigilant enough then, I wouldn’t be struggling now with full manifestations ofeosinophilic syndrome including heart symptoms, joint swelling, vasculitis, etc. I deeply condemn his reckless attitude, that can even cause death for me due to esosinphilic cardiac manifestations.

The only hospital who charges for the parking. Firstly they take all your time and then you need to pay non logical parking fee. Can't a international standard hospital provide parking to patients? This hospital only wants money and is loot!!

I went to this hospital thinking its one of the best, I booked an appointment for 11:50 and they made me wait for 2+ hours. I guess this has turned out to be my worst experience with norvic. Ill management, the doc who was supposed to attend the out patient was busy in surgery, i guess in that case they have to arrange the alternatives to avoid long waiting. I hope they will work on this and fix this very soon.

I have stopped going to this hospital since a long time because of its approach towards patient. It always about how you can get as much money out of their pocket as possible. But once in a while whenever I have to go to visit someone I am amazed how without shame they run all the things around I brought food to a hospitalised patient who has been staying there for more than a week now, paying already hefty amount for a shared room and these money mongering capitalist staying behind a curtain of a sensetive service like health service charged me and all other patient's caretaker parking charge . All the people who are in the management of this hospital and share the profit I hope you reflect upon the money that you receive........ from where and how it comes. I pray that you receive all the blessings and equally the pain you cause to people while being insensetive towards people's pain and their hard earned money..... Black tea outside hospital is Rs 20 In the hospital canteen its Rs 35 Isn`t canteen within a hospital a basic service. And irony is they have hanged Basanta Chaudary's quote about service and what not all around the hospital haha patient kai paisa le ghar kai pratibha protshan garera thap patient ko paisa lutna jaaneko nervic ...... Sorry for venting out so much but you deserve it......

I was very disappointed with the management of this hospital. I had taken an appointment in advance, but I still had to wait for one hours to see the doctor. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for the patients' time and needs. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone who values quality and efficiency.

Worst Hospital ever. I went there due to irregular periods. Achala Baidhya was the doctor. Did not show up for 3 hours. Not once, but twice before I decided to stop going there. Will make you do unnecessary tests that'll cost you 25k and beyond if you decide to do it in Norvic. They'll also prescribe unnecessary amount of medicines (got it checked with two other doctors from different hospitals later) Honestly, worst hospital and the worst doctor ever. It is so evident that treatment is done on commission basis. If I could rate stars in Minus for the service and dirty profit mentality, I would. Please go only if you have so much money that you dont know what to do with it.

This hospital is supposed to be very clean, hygienic especially the covid times. The emergency section is packed with people and very hot inside. I went to check up an infant and it's so long waiting with people. Only the receptionist has fan and ac is closed . It's super hot. Lots of babies has dengue viral going on and the ventilation system is completely off. Very unhappy with the service in emergency area.

Hospital is good but overall experience is not good. Any new comer will find messy to understand the process. Hard to spot out the places such as billing, doctors room, and labs. This kind of caliber hospital should have clear map and help desk right at the entrance to assist people with the process.

I booked an appointment for today for Dr Yadav Bhatta. I was given the time for 4:15 pm. I am still here on the waiting room since 4:15 pm. Its 5:55 pm now. What is the use of booking for this appointment when i have to wait this long? Appointment ko time slot haru liyeko k matlab bhayo ta? I suggest people to go anytime without booking for appointment. Cause the main reason for booking appointment isn't yet understood by the hospital management. You are paying 1000 rupees for an appointment, your time must also be valued.

An inhuman doctor(skin specialist)!! Came for a follow up on my mother's skin diagnosis. While waiting our turn she started suffering from a very low pressure(which I only knew later on), barely able to speak. When our turn came in I told her(the doctor) about the situation and symptoms right away even before proceeding on my mother's skin diagnosis. I was horrified when she did not even check her blood pressure even my mother was kneeling her head in front of her desk due to extreme weakness. This doctor was hesitant and confused. All she did was recommend us to try emergency department. It felt like the doctor was only "helping" us for what was paid for.. nothing more. Absolutely no concern at all.

With few visits I found it worse in comparison to it's fee and other charges. Need to run and rush on own for entire tests, medicine followup...tests are done unnecessarily just to earn. canteen is literally expensive and is as hot as a hatchery room. Most of the staff are loyal though.

I am giving 3 star because of good and bad experience on same day. BAD 1st: I was in IPD this morning trying to book a separate room for my dad because as per doctors he was going to be shift from ICU. Norvic rules 1st come 1st serve and be in a line but Staff from IPD gave 411 which was available 1st to a different patient who booked the cabin after I did. I was pissed but kept my cool coz my dad needs a room. I have posted the pictures for it below with my dads name circle in black and the other guy who got 411 in red. If a privet hospital like Norvic don’t follow their own rules then who will. As per staff from IPD he followed directions from some doctor. I view this as corruption by a well educated person that doctor sould be fired. GOOD: I was not sure about the service because of the bad experience earlier in a day but then I encountered a nurse Anisha and she is well spoken responsible, little strict but very good at what she does. My dad is a old and difficult to handle but she was there taking care of him. He had a fever and a medication was needed to get him better but it was not dripping through his nerves if you let go of his hand but she stood there and kept holding his hand until the medication was don’t and it took more than an hour. Good moral, it takes one person to change the prospective. Norvic should promote her or at least recognize her for her hard work, and dedication. She stood there and took care of my dad until he needs without being irritated. Thank you Anisha ji.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Norvic International Hospital and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism that I experienced during my stay. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome and at ease. The facilities were top-notch, with state-of-the-art medical equipment and comfortable rooms that made my recovery much easier. But what really stood out to me was the level of expertise and knowledge that the medical staff had. They were able to answer all of my questions and concerns, and I could tell that they truly cared about my well-being. Overall, I highly recommend Norvic International Hospital to anyone in need of medical care. The staff, facilities, and level of care are truly exceptional and I am grateful for the wonderful experience I had there.

The doctor's fee is Rs. 1,034. But they always charge Rs. 1,035 and the cashier never returns the one rupee. Being a reputable hospital, it's very bad that they are trying to rip off Rs. 1 from every customer. Either change the fee to Rs. 1,035 or return Rs. 1 to everyone.

In the center of the city, Parking is tough. Though international hospital boasted, they don't seem to have much respect for timing. Nor they feel sorry. It is like a department store that has almost all items in-store but you'll have to be thankful though you pay heavily.

Very Good & fast service. All the staff are good & helpful & don't have to do unnecessary things like other hospitals. Except for doctor coming late.

The facilities here are great, but the prices and hospital management are extremely expensive. You expect modern healthcare in a developing country to be reasonably priced, but at Norvic, it’s not the case.

  • 1/5 Nikesh S. 8 months ago on Google
Norvic used to be much much better place to get yourself checked!!! Now it is completely unmanaged!! Help desks and reception in different departments lack internal communications which leads to misinformation regarding patient or doctor updates. Token system is there but is not used, old way of handling file to room staff who manually calls patient to enter doctor visiting room. Even in duty hours, these staffs keep themselves busy in non-work related gossips ignoring patients or patient’s representatives queries. Patients have to wait longer just because of this!! Frontdesk is the first impression of any health clinic, hospital or care center. I hope they maintain their reputation with quality service in future. Really disappointed with service we received!!!

I would like to mention some people at the hospital for going beyond their call of duty - sisters Nitisha Thapa magar, Srijana karki; Mr yadav and another very nice man for playing hanuman chalisa on my request during MRI :), Ankit Agrawal as usual, Dr Raunak bista, and many others whose names I did not get during my one day stay at the hospital. Not to forget Dr. panak Jalan and Dr Jaiswal.

I was in the hospital with my father few years ago. I found the nurses very sincere and the management was good as well. My dad is no more now due to the disease but I really appreciate the doctors' efforts as he had been better while in this hospital. Except the expensive part, I admire the health service they provide.

No doubt this is one of the best hospital in Nepal with great doctors. But they need to work on improving patient’s experience when they are here for a check-up. Wait time is always more than 1.5 hrs and that is with a prior appointment, what is the use of appointments if you don’t honor it. Whenever we visit this hospital it is because we are here to see a specific doctor, or else we would definitely avoid it.
