HAMS is spreading COVID, they charge 2000 for each PCR test but the lack of management is clear. Even in this dire situation, they have placed profitability over safety

This is good looking but then not so good experience awarding hospital. Let me tell you the good and bad: โœ” Location โœ” Parking โœ” Cleanliness โœ” Doctors with big names โœ” More or less well equipped Negatives โœ– Bad patience management โœ– Lack of Hospitality โœ– Wait time too much โœ– Way too expensive for Public hospital wait time. I do not recommend this hospital as of now but has potential if they provide better experience.

For such a highly reputed hospital the building maintenance did a sloppy job maintaining the building. No hot waters ( patient couldn't take shower), bathroom was all messed up (wasn't expecting that for private stay), window shades were broken (no way to stop sunlight for patient to sleep properly), we told them but no one cared to fix it.

My experience was good at this hospital. Practically this hospital is bit advance n uses the proper technology. It has specious waiting areas and they give more attention in hygiene n cleaners. Overall nice hospital.

The doctors are good but the management and service are terrible. Right from reception to the lab, staffs lack customer service and patient care. Just to get one report emailed in this digital era, I had to call several times and wait hours. Terrible in terms of communication and service despite being a private and so called international hospital.

I was here for a PCR TEST as per the travel regulations due to Covid. They did ask if it's for travelling purpose while making payments. However, no information was conveyed regarding the test results being sent online so I understood I was to come back for it like the last time I was here. No information was shared regarding the test results being sent to my email address nor did I see any notice put up to mention the same. Charging everyone so much for the test itself, I see this as mere lack of awareness or just laziness of the Hospital management with something simple yet important like this. It does make a difference to create less stress with confusion at the present state especially by hospitals.

One of the best super speciality hospital, operating from last 25 years. Dr. Prakash Sayami is one of best and long serving doctor, strongly recommended as one of the finest pulmonary diseases. Dr. Vinaya Bhattarai is one of the best endocrinologist found in Kathmandu Valley. Prices for in-patient services are much higher than average rate in Kathmandu, but fairly justifiable in comparison with quality I'd services it offers. One of the tedious processes is the administration and management functions of the hospital. It really distracts and overshadows its quality reputation set by the best of the available doctors. For example, if you are an OPD patient, expect to wait 1 hour in the cash counter to get the name registered by waiting an average of 40-50 patients. Once, registered, getting checked with a doctor is smooth and easy; but if recommended for a lab test, expect to go back again to the same cash counter initiating a new wait token that means at least another hour just to pay the laboratory charges after waiting another 40-50 patients. Hence, an OPD duration with a prior appointment can be ideally 3-4 hours out of which the cash counter waiting is 2.5-3 hours.

Even though I went their after phone booked appointment, I had to wait more than 30 mins to get my payment receipt to be able to visit doctor. The most interesting part was the counter did not inform us the Doctor was already in surgery. Management wise, I do not recommend

A super specialized tertiary level 150 bedded hospital with all the medical facilities you can imagine. Very good team of skilled doctors, paramedics and staffs. A hospital built with the motto "health facility with sophistication". Doctors aswell as nurses are humble and give attention and care to the patients until they are fine and are discharged from the hospital. They also handle critical cases very professionally and provide top notch health facility. It's one stop for all the health facilities you wish for. Expensive but recommended looking at their service and satisfaction patients get.

Front staff seems to be rude and unprofessional. Two ladies using their phone while working was really unprofessional. Reception Infront of endoscopy centrer room. They need to learn how to behave with patients. I hope hams will take care of this matter seriously. And waiting period shouldn't be too long. If doctor is not available , they should charge us and make us stay on qeue. We have been waiting since last 1 hour already and doctor is not even in his room.

This is my personal opinion. If only hams hospital was as good as it looks aesthetically, it'd be much better. Got an appointment due to sickness and the doctor comes an whooping 1-half hours late!! Talk about professionalism! Doctor Forgets to apologies and Immediately proceeds the checkup and in just 3 minutes, without actual questioning the patient , and reviewing, writes me off to a couple of lab tests report(hospital schemes). Went around looking for the lab in a maze and out of the 3-5 staffs of the hospital, they don't even know where the room numbers were when I asked them, wth? Definitely my first and the last time. I recommend going to a cheaper hospital with more sincere doctors and staffs who actually cares about the patient more than the money they are after. I wouldn't even give a 1star. The owners of the hospital either don't care or it's about time they actually do. Good luck!

Well equipped hospital but the parking is in such a bad condition for such a big hospital. The slope is too steep and the road to parking is in such bad condition. Manuevring scooters and motorbikes is so difficult. The guard was rude too. For a such a well equipped and advanced hospital l, I was astonished that they didnt bother to upgrade their infrastructure for parking.

Deceitful of the prices they charge, hidden charges on many levels. They take massive advantage of internal miscommunication and charge upto 50% higher than any other private hospitals. Even the people in the top level of management are corrupt and unshameful to the ridiculous prices they charge after procedures.

HAMS stands for Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery. The new location at Dhumbarahi looks good with modern facilities. It has newly started its services from this location so the building and area looks quite new. The place looks still in construction phase. However the infrastructure seems to be nicely designed. What I liked most about this hospital is the cafeteria in the reception area. Not sure about the quality as I find almost all the hospitals are similar when in comes about the services. But itโ€™s a good starting. All the best to HAMS management.

Unlike other hospitals who give you approximate slot, this keeps you waiting for 2.5 hours just for 5 minutes talk. Expensive fee and no respect of patient's time. Won't continue my treatment here, Never coming back after all these 3 years of receiving service.

If I could give 0 star. As of today I could clearly see management and administration was not in system. They make patients to wait a lot and makes excuses. No time management.Even they act different with people. No equal respect to all. Itโ€™s say international but as my experience not qualified to be good hospital.

Came for EHP. From Surya Nepal. Will recommend cancel the agreement with HAMS. Had worst experience from reception till having breakfast. Even food is of worst quality. In fruit they gave raw banana to many visitors of full body check up. Doctor might be good or might be lots of experience and degrees but people who serve most are attendent and reception are worst

Bad experience with administration!! Management has created token system but the staffs misuse it. To get our medicine, they called us through token number, the staffs there were busy chatting and laughing with each other without bothering to help us get the medicines. Note that we were the only ones there getting medicine at the moment. When I asked why they werenโ€™t helping us, they argued by saying they were busy (excuse for bad service), then why did they even bother calling us to the counter through the token system. It looked like they didnโ€™t even want to help their customer. Majority of the staffs in this hospital love arguing with their customers!! I donโ€™t even know why they bother working in a service-based industry. When the most important thing is to give good service to their customers.

Dr atit poudel is the worst Gynecologist. He is very arrogant maybe because of his doctor degree. He behaved so rudely with us. He should learn how to talk properly and counsel patients. Never visiting him ever again.

Very poor service. Patient is in pain but the doctor sits there as nothing has happened with facebook opened in his PC. Didnโ€™t do proper checking and just made me do other tests and prescribed me medicines that isnโ€™t working. I think opening hospital is a very nice way to do broad daylight robbery.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called for an appointment and was told that the doctor would be in at 5 PM and was asked to be at the hospital a little before that. On arrival, I am informed that the doctor has not come in yet and after a while, I'm informed there are multiple patients in line before me. I finally have my appointment at 7 PM. Super careless and disrespectful of everyone's time. I hope this hospital cares about their patients' health a little more than their time.

Although senior doctors are might be experienced and reliable the administrative procedure is Really complicated . Staff (including billing, and pharmacy) were not corporative. Every staff that i had to coordinate with spoke very rudely. Wouldn't recommend if you are not use to rude people.

I was told for my ultra sound at 3.30pm and still 4pm my name was not called as we need to hold pee before and i am suffering from UTI whereby i am not allowed to hold for my infection to grow in my bladder. So unprofessional price is higher but not happy with ultra sound department. I hope you will convey this message to the concerned department to avoid this kind of delay to the patients whereby they paid the extra amount with a hope to get better service and time. NO TIME MANAGEMENT ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

Good private hospital with some really excellent doctors ! For example their ortho/spine team is a really excellent professional team! Noted for excellent ICU and COVID services during the pandemics. They do have a wide set of experts from Heart to Psychology! One thing I do not understand is the new patient registration fee they charge - a way of wringing in more money from the desperately ill!

Today we went for a follow up check which was after 10 days paying a check up fee of Rs 875. There was a long queue due to the doctor being in OPT. After waiting 1 hr, he came into the ward with an OPT dress and spent literally 1 min for each patient. When our turn came he said "keep following the same medicine and we will see you after 10 days." (We had a neck x-ray and PTA test to show him. He didn't bother to say even one word. How was the result? When I asked him he said "NOT BAD" that's it ) In total, he didn't speak more than 10 words. Now I need to go back after 10days because after 7 days we need to pay another check fee of Rs875. What a service!!
