Got a Rabies vaccine shot at Rs. 170 and tetanus vaccine at Rs 50. We need to take 3 dose of rabies vaccine on 0, 3 & 7th day. First, you need to go to the counter for ticket then every procedure is done on OPD which takes very less time. Hospital active time- 9am to 3pm (Saturday remains close) For tickets- 8am to 2pm On public holidays - it's open up to 11am Lunch time- 1:30 - 2:30

this is a good hospital. reliable for normal citizen from financial aspects too. the area is very big. its obvious its might not be well maintained which could be lack of excessive supply of money from government or a bit of corruption but overall people believe in this hospital give the result of this hospital in high priority. the medical staffs are well trained

It's in Teku, though management is little bit poor than other government hospitals, treatement is good. Ticket counter is in left side of the main gate but they do not have token system . They give Tickets from 8:30 AM for O.P.D patients.

Very budget-friendly hospital to get a Rabies shot. Got my whole set of shots at just 170 rupee. The only line at the ticket counter is long, but getting shot is only less than 5 minutes

The tests which needed rs5000 in a private hospital, same test with qualified machines, here at 1750. This place is crowded but if we get here early, we can easily get our tests done. Trust me, this place makes you proud to be a Nepali taxpayer.

Too much crowded and even for the vaccine the line was so huge and literally had to wait 1 hour to get the vaccine. Even being a goverment hospital it doesn't bother to provide better service. I had to stand literally 1 hour in line and people we trespassing the line such a worst hospital.

The line for ticket isn't really that long but it moves really slow... There are many people breaking the line either because they are carrying a baby or because they are old aged or for some other similar excuses.... Once you get the ticket everything else is quite fast... The ticket at "Rs.170 for 3 shots" is also quite economic, considering that the same shot outside in any other pharmacy would cost Rs.700 per 1 shot (i.e. Rs.2100 for 3shots)..

The management is pitiable. Some staff aren't the friendliest as opposed to how healthcare professionals are expected. Waiting in queue is horrendous, which could easily be resolved using online token system. Sanitation is not even up to the mark, considering it is the center of infectious diseases.

Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, named after Shukraraj Shastri, commonly known as Teku Hospital, is a public hospital in Teku, Kathmandu. It is the only hospital in Nepal especially designated for the treatment of tropical and infectious diseases. The hospital was established in 1933. It has a 100-bed inpatient service. It has three ICU beds and six cabin beds. It is a national referral hospital which takes in patients referred from all over the country. It also provides training to medical students. Dr. Basudev Pandey is the current director of the hospital.

Here you can inject the rabies injection free of cost you have to only pay for tickets. Also there are many more services regarding injuries where you can get treatment in economical cost.

The hospital's facilities were top-notch, with modern equipment and clean, well-maintained surroundings. What really stood out for me, however, was the level of care and attention given to each patient. The doctors and nurses were incredibly skilled and compassionate, taking the time to listen to patients' concerns and provide personalized treatment plans. As someone who values quality healthcare, I can confidently say that Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital is among the best in its field. The hospital's commitment to excellence and patient-centered care is truly commendable, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in need of medical attention. Overall, my experience at Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital was exceptional, and I am grateful for the outstanding care I received. If you are looking for a world-class hospital with a dedicated and experienced staff, look no further than Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital.

I don't know if hospital are supposed to operate this way but worst experience here. For context, I came here around 6AM with a patient. He had his blood drawn 15 mins later for check up and I sent the bood to the lab. The lab report was supposed to be prepared after 1 hour but even after 2 and half hour it isn't done. The doctor was nice though even though the experience wasn't so great.

This Hospital serves for people with infectious diseases. Lots of people are here and crowded almost all the time. Ticketing is not well managed. Ticketing with standing in line.

It is a government hospital with a very poor service. What is the point in having the telephone number when you don't even receive the call? Totally disappointed.

Poorly managed, have been there a couple of times for anti rabies vaccine. There is no properly managed space for anti rabies vaccination. Lots of scope for improvement in management.
