One of the most expensive hospital in kathmandu. They have highly professional doctors and experienced doctor , but nurses and hospital management are not good enough. If you are belonging from a poor family you can go tribhuvan university teaching hospital which is 1 km far away from this location

Went there to get USG done. Wait time was 30 minutes. Doc was good and experienced. Hospital is located conveniently in Chakrapath intersection towards police station. Previously it was Atithi Party palace, so they have parking space but limited. Canteen is small and building needs to maintain upkeep and focus on hygiene management.

Oh what a mess. Even though Dr. Jyoti Bhattarai might be good but hospital is totally mess. Nothing in order. Staffs are rude. They don’t even care to note your number right. Seriously, management needs to improve a lot. Toilet is too dirty. Nothing in order.

Really expensive for a PCR test which costs you more than other hospitals. It will cost 2800 which is beyond the marked price given by the government. Rude and unappreciative staff who gets too annoyed to reply to your queries. I am a female but they mentioned me as a male in my PCR report and when I told them to rectify it as I needed to send it to my office they said that they would do it in the first hour in the morning. No apologies for the mistake was made. 10:30in the morning and still no sign of the corrected report has been sent to me. Hassle to call them again and again and let them know about it yet when I asked about the time I needed to wait for it the girl was irritated to simply answer and rudely replied that the labs still closed and hanged up the phone. First the hospital makes a mistake themselves and instead of a decent apology they reply back rude to your questions. Waste of money I regret doing my PCR here. The most expensive than any other place with no service and punctuality. Please train the staff how to speak with their customers. When people have paid extra for your services a level of decency and professionalism is bound to be expected.

Kudos to the dentist for making a 53 yo patient cry with her “esthetic” dental consultation. I took my mother for regular checkup, was suggested to do a diabetic package in which dental consultation was also included. We were told to go to the dentist after 11 am from the reception; we planned to visit at last as it was least our priority. There was a long waiting queue in the USG so we decided to finish the dental consult in the mean time. Reached there at 12:10pm and she got super mad at us because we came to her before 12:30pm. Apparently she didnt want to see anyone before 12:30pm, went inside and made a call. Had she asked us to come after 12:30, we would have happily obliged but she lashed out her anger at us (and her door). Said “Chappal lagayera paltinu tya” and rammed the door shut at our faces. At first I tried to dismiss it as some people tend to project their anger but while I was waiting for my mother outside I heard shouting from inside. On opening the door, I saw my mother with tears in her eyes. I do not think any medical school (not even her QSP in esthetic dentistry) teaches a dentist to say “chya kasto saas ganako” to an elderly woman who is empty stomach and wearing a mask the entire day. “Daat safa garne garyachaina aile samma?” “Tapaile gija sunneko thaha chaina bhanera huncha, maile yaha dekhirachu” is definitely not how you consult. I was horrified watching that and I said we’re not here since the morning to see your tantrums. She had the audacity to smirk, not even sorry knowing her patient is crying due to her words and actions. We felt welcomed and properly guide throughout out time except there. I have never ever witnessed such a hostile, unprofessional, unethical, rude doctor or any other medical personnel ever. I shouldn’t be watching my mother trying to justify she’s not young anymore and water in terai also results in staining. I have made a complaint but I don’t think it will escalate. She’s lucky she practices in Nepal or else this could cost her her career anywhere else.

Worst experience ever, not going back again. Visited the hospital for Video X Ray, and get misleading report. False report leads us to confusion and mental stress. The hospital needs to be responsible enough, hire qualified radiologist and doctors. Expensive with low quality service, not recommending to anyone!

Dr Prasan kansakar is an exceptionally professional. All the staff were found very friendly and helpful. Cabin service was an excellent. Standard of room cleaning was very heigh.

I heard good service about Metro Hospital through my family friends long time back, last night when I brought my wife in the emergency, I could see and feel the friendly and helpful vibes. Metro Hospital Kathmandu Maharajganj Emergency staff in the morning felt undisciplined there is no way to speak.. First, the emergency staff should be mentally and physically fit, and then they will be able to listen to the patient's problem.. 8am 13 Sep

one of the finest hospital i have ever seen. I brought my brother here in the Emergency department .Emergency staffs were really cool, friendly, patient concerned and care minded. They managed my brothers condition really well the drs, nurses, and assistants were really good a t working and very skillful. overall services were really fine!!!!!!

International standard facility. A very pleasing stay. Excellent medical care, excellent nursing care, and excellent hygiene. Although the room was small, all amenities were available under one roof. Most importantly, surgeons and anesthetists were highly experienced, updated and skilled.

Best choice for metro Kathmandu hoapital.specially ICU care is outstanding. I wish God make noone has to get admit in ICU but when you are really in need of ICU Metro should be your first choice.children's dr.Bimal is good and all nurse are so politely speech really like them services.

For those who want to grab all service in a single roof , Metro Kathmandu hospital is best choice with minimal movement of opd service,lab, pharmacy. I appreciate the management team for providing good structure design with good service. Patience staff with senior doctors. I will highly recommend this hospital in term of good service with easy accessibility.
