Worst hospital, only business oriented without service. Doing pcr test inside common lab without any precautions. Asking every patient to do pcr as they have just setup systems for pcr. They ask to carry pcr of my 7 days baby, though i visited to consult for jaundice. Unprofessional lab nurses not able to pull blood from babies hand twice. They ask to admit my baby, i doubt ted them and took consultation from grande and kanti hospital. At kanti all results were normal. I just want people to be careful and take second advice before admitting your babies in Issan hospital. Plz provide appropriate service with ur businesses. Donot play with little lifes. Karma will payback to you.

Totally business oriented hospital. The staffs prescribe other materials that aren’t needed with the medicines like sanitizer and thermometer that aren’t even needed taking advantage of the emergency situation and when we realize we don’t need them and try to return them they don’t take it back and try to argue with us. The doctor in the emergency is really rude. The emergency room was kinda empty with 2 patients and when we were trying to make the child to stop crying he asked us guardians to step out and when we said we were staying as the kid was crying and the room was kinda empty he asked to take the child and stay out. Would’ve argued with him only if he wasn’t the doctor in emergency treating the patients. Hope the administration looks after these issues.

Lack of management no proper facility plus doctor are ok ok but if incase you take for emergency then they will keep for days saying observation and routine check etc .I live near by hospital area already year back had a bad experience when i took 1 mnth old baby for jaundice checkup and they pulled blood after three try just think what will go trough parent when i said slowly those two ladies replied we know what we are doing .......again after a year as they moved to new building I went for my childs check up i thought there might be some changes but guess what the situation remain same only the thing i liked this time was cleanliness ,few ward in-charge sisters but comparing to the cost they are charging now it fair enough. Things needed to be changed is too many staff nurse they are sometime like burden to ward incharge sister as this new comer ask too many question and we come for treatment of babies .Would like to ask hospital team why you guys are keeping such beginners special if this hospital say they specialize in child baby care. And what upset me more was the way that sad soul so called emergency ward doctor plz check who was on duty 28 mar 2023 afternoon he was from terai or madhesi and bald man.He was completely depressed soul plz plz avoid keeping such doctor we are bringing our babies there we have high hope from hospital. I believe this will be my last visit to the hospital .Too much money fleecing mentality if incase you take to emergency for sure they will keep for 3-4 days . And at last there POS machine was not working properly bcz of which my billing amount was blocked two time for 35 days . Overall 👎🏻🤮😡

"Ishan Children and Women Hospital's doctor and a few nurses are not suitable for children. I had a very bad experience with the hospital when my five-month-old baby girl had gastrointestinal problems, and my wife took her to Ishan Hospital. They admitted her around 2 PM and applied antibiotics, and multiple other medicines. Dr. R. P. Choudhary looked after my baby, but even after four days, her fever didn't go down. Multiple X-ray, blood test to my five-month-old baby. 😭Another doctor told us that high-dose antibiotics were causing the fever, and Dr. R. P. Choudhary apologized. One of my colleagues also had a similar experience. My question is, if we hadn't told Dr. Choudhary about the other children's doctor, he would have planned to give more antibiotics. So please be careful when taking care of your baby. 😥"

Very very unprofessional hospital and unfortunately expensive as well. You have to get the ticket with hefty amount, also wait for the turn in every section and after the turn finally comes the doctor just wastes the time without saying the absolute issue and just asking to do unnecessary X-ray and video X-ray just to earn some extra money. It's so heartbreaking to go with lots of hopes for your children and return back empty handed. This shows that some hospital are there just to earn money and not serve the public. Carrying children with you and waiting for almost 4-5 hours is not worth at all.

Yesterday I went to ishan hospital for my 4 yrs old baby. He has abscess on nose and my dr. Adviced me to remove that. So I went to emergency and there is a doctor who did this but dr. R.P.Chaudhari came and he charged me rs5000 for that. We did not use any things from hospital. No medicine, no injection, no stitches but why R.B.Chaudhary charged 5000 for that. (Only for dressing is not a joke.)He can’t take a charge how he want. There should be rules and regulation for charging. I regularly go there for my baby. And yesterday I felt that charging 5000rs is one kind of scam n I was very disappointed.

In 2052(B.S.), Dr. Narayan Bahadur Thapa, along with a few colleagues( Dr. Ananta Dutta Shrestha, Dr. Dhana Raj Aryal, Dr. Jyoti Ratna Dhakwa and Krihsna Prasad Devkota) felt that there was a need for a children’s hospital in the private sector as the government facilities available then were not coping with the enormous patient load. It was realized that patients should get urgent care when they needed it and not when a bed became available. With this idea a humble beginning was made to start a 15 bedded Ishan Children’s Nursing Home (name was changed when the hospital expanded to 25 beds in 2054). This hospital was first of its kind the paediatric field and started with the motto of providing 12 hour outdoor and 24 hour emergency and indoor facility. In the intervening years hospital have increased the bed capacity to 25 and have moved to the present site at Basundhara Chowk and are in the process of increasing the capacity to 55 beds.

Went there to buy medicine. MRP was 39.80 INR , converted to Nepalese Rupee should be 63.68 Rupee... they rounded that to 64 Rupee but cashier at pharmacy asked 65 Rupee... when I asked about it... he said its just 1 Rupee. . Got angry and gave one candy instead of change. Imagine thousands of medicine are sold daily and they are over charging more than MRP... it this legal/ or ethical ?

no professionalism by the reception staff. My wife visited today for her appointment where the staff were not interested dealing with her properly. instead of providing service, they were having a chat with and were rude to my wife. It was very much dissapointing behaviour by them.
