I liked this hospital very much. Its facilities are great. The staffs are great. I would have given it a 5 star rating but for one of its dermatologists - Dr Anish Gorkhali. This person does not have any respect for other people's time. I could understand having to wait for the doctor if he was busy with other patient's. Heck, I have waited for a doctor for hours, but this one had not even arrived at the hospital after one and a half hour of our scheduled appointment and he already had a lot of other patient's waiting for him. I understand sometimes you do get late because of other commitments but on such occasions I have to call my manager and inform them about it and I don't even work in a service industry. I don't believe that this doctor or anybody else is above such minor work ethics. I believe this doctor may be a regular tardy delinquent as he had not even bothered calling in to say that he was going to be more than one and a half hours late. He may have arrived even later , I don't know, because i did not bother waiting any longer for a person who does not have any respect for any body other than himself. I hope other patients cancels their meeting with him too, so this fellow can understand that other people's time is important too.

You should increase your number of cash counters and make it more organized. I went there today and there was such a crowd during this covid pandemic. The city hospital lacks the quality of the main grande hospital. Just selling the name Grande is not enough.. you need to provide the services too. Also there is not enough parking space. The parking space is shared between Honda showroom and all other commercial centers in Jyoti bhawan.

This hospital has a good atmosphere with good staffs except hospital manager was not responsive .while I was there for X -ray but staff was not there and I had waited there for more then one hour .the manager was roaming around me as he didn't asked anything regarding what had happened there. When I asked front desk staff to call manager regards check into my cases but he told to reception staff he was not available but after fifteen minute back he was there😀😀 What an honest manager 😀😀😀 When I asked refund , eventually x-ray staff arrived and I have a no choice I did a x-ray .Unfortunately when I received my x-ray that time doctors was left as hospital has not any communication exchange with doctor . Hospital manager should learn so many thing about customer service.He didn't deserved a manager job. I highly recommended this hospital to everyone .

This hospital takes enough money from patients but doesn't give service worth the money they take. At least they should provide more cash counters and wifi in waiting areas. The floors and their concerned department is not organized at all. Opd is in 2nd floor, one cash counter that is too in second floor, physiotherapy on 4rth floor😀. At least they should have thaught with logic😛.

Worst hospital in terms of management. Front desk staff doesn’t call the names of the patients according to the files placed. It is unsystematic and lousy practice I’ve ever seen at hospital.

This 1 star is for ECG doctor who always comes late and other staffs who seems bit unorganized.. For Others are 5 stars

I had a sore throat just before heading to Everest Base camp so was quite worried. The ER doc was so helpful, really thorough and gave me some great advice and medication in case it got worse while hiking. He really put my mind at ease - I highly recommend this hospital for travelers.

The hospital needs to train the staff to upgrade their communication, especially that of the Cashier The behavior is like that of a government hospital staff. No wonder, patients won't return next time and hospital will lose its grip over the years.

I have been a paitient of Dr Anish Gorkhali and he is a very good and experiensed doctor. I am very satisfied. From the contact in the reception and all the way nurses are very helpful and kind. On top of this you can always find a guard who will help you to the right place . I had skinproblems and had some bloodtests. The result was very fast. You have to pay for it of course, but the hospital has the policy same Price for all. Usually as a foreigner, you have to pay a lot more for the same service.I found it was not expensive either for me or for a Nepali . I found that the hospital were very clean and everybody was on time. I can highly recommend this hospital. Dorte Just, Denmark

Their rude and dismissive behavior towards patients and their families was nothing short of shocking. It seemed as though they had forgotten that their primary duty was to provide care and support, rather than treating us as mere inconveniences. Adding insult to injury, the hospital's hygiene standards were nothing short of abysmal. The rooms were dirty and unkempt, with visible signs of neglect. It was evident that proper cleaning protocols were not followed, as the floors were sticky, and the linens appeared to have been used multiple times without being changed. This lack of cleanliness not only compromised patient comfort but also posed serious health risks. Furthermore, the overall indiscipline at Grande City Hospital was alarming. The staff seemed disorganized and lacked coordination, leading to delays and confusion in patient care. It was evident that there was a severe lack of proper management and training, as the staff members appeared clueless and ill-equipped to handle even the simplest tasks. To make matters worse, the exorbitant price of Rs 12000 per night was completely unjustified given the appalling conditions and lack of quality service. It felt like a blatant exploitation of vulnerable individuals in need of medical care, with no regard for their well-being or satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing Grande City Hospital for your medical needs. The combination of indiscipline, rude staff, and poor hygiene standards make it an establishment that is simply not worth the exorbitant cost. I had my first baby girl delivered there and i realized their service was very poor when i experienced service at another hospital. One of the nurses who served us was very rude and was acting very rude when she had to serve us late night. She acted like we disturbed her sleep when we asked for assistance. I didn’t notice nursing head (matron) at there. The pediatrician doctor handed over his business card every time he visited to monitor our new born child during his visit round and we felt like he was putting effort for us to visit his clinic rather than proving proper assistance and guidance for baby care at the hospital. The hospital is clean and few nurses were very well behaved and sweet and that is what the 2 star rating for. Else my and my wife’s experience there was not pleasant when i look back. However, we thank of bringing our child healthy and happy in this world.

I was here in urology opd for my grandfather. Doctors and others staffs were nice. Multiple medical facilities are available as there are a lots of department in this huge hospital. Can be done better in restroom cleanliness though.

One of the best City Hospital of Kathmandu Valley. The overall health checkup packages are highly recommended here. They are well coordinated between all service units and guided completely by service associates. Facilities and services are one of the best quality that you can receive in Kathmandu valley. Parking spaces are limited.

Good hospital in the city. This place is well managed and well equipped. The maintenance is well enough. The staffs are good and the service is very good. This is a well renowned hospital in the city. This place is always crowded. People can get varieties of treatments in this hospital.
