I do not recommend this agency. Despite the bad weather, our guide was not interested in taking us to EBC. He was interested in returning home to his personal commitments. He did not suggest and denied all the alternative possibilities we gave to start the trek. He really didn't want to do anything other than what was basic and comfortable for him and didn't put any effort into getting us to our destination. He kept insisting that we do another trek other than the EBC. As if it were simple and cheap to return to Nepal every year to take the EBC. A life project that was ruined by a person who doesn't care about his clients. Maybe because he is related to the owner and doesn't care about providing excellent service. When we arrived in Ramechhap there had already been 5 days with no flights leaving. The agency should have known this, should have informed us and should have already had a plan b. We were the only group to arrive and just wait. Every other group came out with a plan b. The agency returned part of our money, which was the least they could do. Still, I do not recommend this company and specially this guide.

Just finished with an Everest Basecamp trek with Nepal Social Treks. We couldn't be happier with the experience. Nepal Social Treks was great to work with and their guide, Urken, was wonderful. It's a local company too. I don't have any reservations in recommending their trek. You'll have an amazing time.

I had a great experience on my EBC trip with Nepal Social. They dealt with everything very smoothly from beginning to end. They are very friendly and took me out to lunch and dinner to get to know everyone better, which I think was a personal touch of theirs. Also I loved the guide that took me on the EBC trail. He was very professional and kind and so were the porters they worked with.

Excellent experience. I emailed about 20 agencies prior to my trip to Nepal. And chose then based on their detailed customization of my desired itinerary at a competitive price. Overall, the selection of hotels were great. The guides were friendly and even went the extra mile to resolve transportation issued when I encountered landslide along my trip. Very flexible and efficient. One of my best trips!

I had this great experience only with the help of this awesome crew from Nepal Social Treks. They helped us soo much with precious information about the trekking route, the peaks that we can see, food, HAS etc. Kamal is an awesome guide and I recommend him because he has 9 years experience in moutainguiding, he knows every detail that you need to have a succesful trek. Our porters Bartha and Rames were always smiling and wiling to help with everything not only carrying our backpacks. If someone is behind, they wait, if someone is sick they try to cure, if someone is sad they will find a way make them smile. Thank you guys, you were awesome and I can't wait to return back in Nepal for another trek or why not mountainbike route.

A trip organized by Simina Cernat our guide from România with a very good collaboration with Nepal Social Trecks. This was an experience of a lifetime rafting mountains nature people… We are grateful we had Lakpa to guide us throughout the trecking. Lakpa carefully addressed all our questions and help us understand Nepali culture he was the best guide friendly, kind, patient and felt very taken care of during our 9days trek on the Annapurna Circuit. At 5000m i had a difficult moment, could hardly walk but Lakpa immediately observed that and he helped me succesfully reach to Thorong La pass. 5416m. I've no words to describe this experience. Nepal Social Trek has been beyond helpful since the beginning, helping me with the planning at home and with the airport/hotel stuff while arriving in Kathmandu. I planned just EBC trek but they told me that I could add a few days more with other people if I wanted to, and I decided to do that on the way, getting the chance to do also Cho La Pass and Gokyo. Our guide Achut was really the best person we could ask for: very caring, funny, prepared and professional! Also the porters were amazing! Strong and always available to help, they were so young but still very professional and we couldn't have made it without their help and support. I will definitely choose again Nepal Social Treks for my future adventures in Nepal!

My partner and I did the Annapurna Sanctuary 14 day trek with Nepal Social Treks and I cannot rate our experience highly enough. Our guide Kumar (best guide in Nepal??) was one of the kindest and friendliest people we’ve ever met. He was always helpful, knowledgeable and patient even though I was clumsy walking downhill and constantly asking questions. We are also grateful for our wonderful and kind porter Limbo who never stopped smiling no matter what. Our experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. The team behind the scenes were amazingly helpful too, nothing was ever an issue, they went above and beyond to assist with booking everything. As for the trek itself, words could never do justice and it’s something everyone needs to experience at least once. Thanks again to everyone who made our trip special. Ramro!

I did the Everest Base Camp and Cho La Pass trek with this company. I am very satisfied with the cost and content of the expedition. I selected this company because they were the fastest to reply to my questions about the trip, in addition to having good reviews. Their customer service is very good and fast. The only reason for not giving this a 5 star review was that we had some difficulties with our guide the first two days of the trek. However, after notifying the company leadership, we were assigned a new guide very quickly. Madan, our new guide was very good. Also, we were three in our group, each with a different itinerary, so we had 3 porters. Our porters Ikumar, Nabindra, and Harka were also very good.

Amazing service!! They took such good care of me as I got sick during my trek. Definitely coming back! They offer huge amount of treks and activities, something for everyone, in Nepal and nearby countries. Highly recommended.

Best agency to manage all the stuff you wanna do in Nepal. We booked a small trek, because we were limited in time and also got our trip to Chitwan with them. They are preparing everything, making it easy for you, in a country where you probably get language problems. I would come back here any time I gonna head back to Nepal. Just nice guys and helpful with everything.

Nepal Social Treks and expeditions went above and beyond for our time in Nepal. First off Basu answered all our queries via email prior to our arrival in Kathmandu. He then picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel (which was very nice!). The following day we met our guide and finalised the details for our Everest base camp trek. Our Guide Achut was amazing and we would not have been able to complete the trek without him and our two porters Baagai and Pamba. Achut on this day even took us around Thamel and helped us get our last pieces of equipment for the trek which were inexpensive and great quality! Achut was a fantastic guide highly knowledgeable constantly educating us about Nepal, its culture, the mountains, flora and fauna of the trek. He helped our members of the group when they fell ill and even carried our day bags when we needed it during the trek. He went above and beyond to make our journey to base camp and back a great experience and as comfortable as possible! Following our trek Basu further helped us organise a car to Pokhara and then even paragliding at a very reasonable price with the best paragliding company in Pokhara. We cannot thank Basu and Nepal social treks and expeditions for all their help and for making our time in Nepal so great.

Myself and two friends completed Everest Base Camp Trek with Achut. I could not recommend this company enough!!!! Firstly, Basu was so helpful and answered so many of our questions before we got to Nepal including organising a customised itinerary for us. He then personally picked us up from the airport and settled us into a very very nice hotel! The next day we met our guide Achut who took us to the best shops in Thamel to buy gear for our trek. We struggled to fly into Lukla due to weather and it took us an additional 3 days. This was no problem at all as Nepal Social Treks organised further nights accomodation at the hotel and took us sightseeing in Kathmandu instead! Achut was extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire trek. He knew so much about the history, geology, geography and everything inbetween. He was also very switched on in assessing myself and my friends when we started to get slight altitude sickness and changed the itinerary slightly to allow for some extra acclimatisation. Achut has done the hike over 100 times so knew the trek back to front and the owners of the tea houses. He always ensured our food was cooked to a perfect standard and our tea boiled sufficiently. When my friends and I suffered different bouts of altitude sickness he also carried our bag to aliveate the weight. We felt completely comfortable with Achut and knew we were in safe hands. He was regularly in contact with Basu to update him on our status and it was very evident that the company truly cares and is passionate about their work. After the trek the service did not stop. Basu organised a driver to Pokhara for us and paragliding there. Both Achut and Basu have kept in regular contact throughout our time in Nepal ensuring that they are still of assistance if we need more recommendations or assistance. You will have a fantastic time in Nepal with Nepal Social Treks and truely feel well looked after! Do yourself a favour and book with Nepal Social Treks!! I will be recommending to all my friends and family.

I have recently returned from a Himilayan trek in the Everest region. We chose to do this trek through Nepal Social Treks and Expeditions. The organisation and service was exceptional from start to finish. Every aspect of the trek ran smoothly and was very enjoyable. Our guide, Raj, was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He made every effort to ensure we had a perfect and fun trek. Our porter, Divi, was also great.
