👍👍 Pretty good crepes. Not sure if the were worth the 30 min that we spent finding the place though 😂 Edited the location, so hopefully will be easier to find in future. Also attached a picture on where to turn from the main street. People often mention good, crepes, nice, delicious, Kathmandu, staff, great, crepe, amazing, Thamel,

If you're looking for a peaceful cozy ambience with some good food and coffee in Thamel, this is the place to be. Starting with the ambience, a slightly dark themed outdoor ambience which was quite peaceful. The staff were quite attentive and the service quick. Tried the french press which a staff recommended and must say it was damn good. A deep flavour that was slightly bitter but just enough. Likewise, a single press was enough for about 2 fulk cups of coffee. The honey & lemon crepe had a good balance of sweetness from the honey and tanginess from the lemon and went harmoniously with the french press. While was expecting a bit of cream as well but nonetheless quite enjoyed it. And must say the crepe had a good portion as well. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. Located on a little street. You need to follow the arrow marks for the way. Loved this little garden cafe. Budget friendly place. With wifi connection. Great food and coffee. Best place for breakfast

Another amazing place in thamel for breakfast. It's a simple restaurant with outdoor setting and very humble staffs. Their food is super delicious and fulfilling as well. With that price, they offer the best crepes in town. We also had avocado toast which was equally delicious. The location can be little tricky. Just follow the green board that's placed in the alley and has the restaurant's name written. It's located in the end of that street. Only recommendation to them would be to do some cleaning in the garden area. Since its dengue season and the place has plants all over, it's good to clean up the place.

The best place for a tasty breakfast in kathmandu. We took the bacon complete and avocado toast and it was so so good. It felt fresh and made with love. The people are so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend to go to this place!

Very quite and hidden place where you’ll taste amazing French crêpes(sweet or salty). Brings me back to Europe. Thank you for this! 🙏

Food was very nice and healthy, I got a vegan gallete bowl, and the place is lovely with its low key garden and plants. The nicest part was the people working there, they were very friendly.

Plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Crepes are made with buckwheat. The menu offers sweet and savory crapes, as well as other perennial faves like burgers, fries, etc. The facilities are basic, more like a garden cafe, but the service is excellent. Important!!!!: Do NOT follow Google Map instructions - they are incorrect. You will be instructed to turn into an alleyway that no longer exists. Instead, go to the intersection of Thabani Rd and Thamel Marg and good fourth on Thanel Marg for about 300 ft. As you walk, look for a green sign (I attached a picture). The place is inside an alley that curves to the left. Follow the green signs. When you see hotel New Era, you are there - it’s across the street from the hotel. Alternatively, you can use Apple Maps if you have access; their instructions are correct (sorry Google).

A makeshift setup on a vacant plot of land that is tucked deep inside zig-zagging alleyways of Thamel. They serve delicious crepes to a never-ending line of customers! Not something I would be able to find without the help of Google Maps. Certainly worth every paisa. I love their plain crepes — they’ve got the right magic mix!

Best Crepe we ever try 😍😍. Must try when you visit Nepal. They have their own unique crepe. We love it and so full. Big portion and served hot. They even give us free crepe on the house. Quality service 🙌

Amazingly unique experience. We had one of the sweet crepes, chocolate banana coconut crepe. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes when we visit Kathmandu.

Their outdoor courtyard is very cute and their food matched. We had the Goat Cheese Crepe, Masala Chai, and Banana and Nutella Crepe. All great. I'll be back to try breakfast here now.

I visited the French Creperie in Pokhra on a friend's recommendation. It's by far the most fresh, home made and tummylicious food I had in Nepal. The owner Mr.Hari is a great cook and puts in a lot effort and love in his cooking. My only suggestion please try out this lovely cafe. Their french galette and crepes are a MUST TRY :-)

The best breakfast in town where you customize your own choices! Fresh food, nice staff and great atmosphere. I had my last breakfast in Pokhara in there too. Keep your cash ready, btw :)

One of my favorite restaurants in Kathmandu. They have gluten-free (buckwheat) galettes and crepes with every topping imaginable. I love their iced ginger lemon honey which is so refreshing after a long day of walking around and visiting temples. You must come here during your stay in Kathmandu. You will not be disappointed!

We came for the buckwheat galettes, which are absolutely splendid...the next day we came back as part of retracing my steps as I discovered I had misplaced my wallet somewhere in Thamel....they greeted us when we arrived and took me directly to my wallet, the contents of which were in perfect order (cash, a credit card, and our passports)! I breathed a huge sigh of gratitude and relief, hugged everyone, and sat down with my husband for another delicious meal at the French Creperie...and might I add, the portions are huge and the prices are super-reasonable!

One of the most amazing places in Thamel. Little peaceful oasis in the middle of busy city. Very good coffee, drinks, food. Staff is super nice. Just a bit tricky to get there. Firstly type in google maps "Rama's Thakali Kitchen" - enter this small street and already there you will see the signs of French creperie - they will lead you to the end of the street and you will reach this wonderful place.

We were looking for a Garden cafe and found the perfect spot. There are pebbles in some area where our child was playing, next time when we came it was little wet and good to sit barefit. The food is with fresh ingredients and super nice, gluten free options are there. We didn't liked the cocktails but maybe also because we chose with the local alcohol. A very homely place with good food and staff.

The buckwheat crepes were amazing! Really hospitable and friendly staff. We even got a dessert crepe on the house. The lemon chicken could be better as it tasted more like BBQ chicken as the BBQ sauce smeared all over was a bit overpowering. Definitely recommend a visit for the crepes though!

Located inside an alley one has to walk off off the main road to find this place. It is secluded yet in the market center which is quite interesting. The portion size is quite big, flavours are spot on. Service is great too. If you’re looking for a cafe to chill in, this is the perfect spot!

Hidden tranquility and nature patch in the middle of downtown Kathmandu. The french press coffee and the laid-backness of the place made me come here every single day for as long as I can remember. The food rocks, too. The french crêperie is a bit hidden but that's the beauty of it.

This place must have changed locations because the map pin is nowhere near the actual restaurant. Good crepes and the lemon mint ice drink was delicious. It is across from Hotel Discovery Inn in an alley off the main street. There are a few signs pointing out the way. Worth the effort finding it.

nice little place tucked in a dark courtyard.. friends had to say good things about the place so decided to check it out.. but was totally disappointed. the bamboo straw provided smelled mouldy.. totally disgusting.. the waiters aren't so professional.. there was a waiter girl openly clearing her throat and spitting.. the cushions were full of stains.. and the toilet.. don't get me started.. smelled terrible. i guess all the staffs use it.. food was okay .. ambience was nice with greenery and met some nice locals there.

I ended up coming here 4 days in a row when in Kathmandu! Great gluten free options with the buckwheat pancakes and the savoury options were SO delicious and filling. It was great value for money too and the staff are all lovely. One thing to note is that it’s all outside so if it’s the evening, bring a coat.

Great little place with delicious crepes! The caramel salty butter was OUTSTANDING and a must try!! We also had the mountain killer (no mushrooms, add egg) and we really appreciated that they use real cheese. However if you arent a fan of buckwheat I would suggest a plain crepe instead since the flavour is quite strong. Wouldn’t recommend the chow mein! Staff was so lovely as well 😊

With no exageration the most delicious crepe I've had in my entire life. I'm French and I've lived in Brittany, I know what I'm talking about. As a vegetarian it's not easy to find tasty crepes but this one was just amazing. A great discovery in Kathmandu, I'll definitely come back!

Our second time in as many days. Gluten-free, tasty, and a great price. You have to ask how to get there, cuz Google maps is a little off, but is well worth it! We had masala tea, coffee, cocktails, and crepes. Everything was excellent, and the entire staff was sooo friendly and welcoming. Amazing experience!

I went here for for breakfast expecting to be blown away by the other good reviews but it was so disappointing.. On arrival one of the old nepal servers was asleep on the sofa.. The table had grease stains on it that hadnt been cleaned properly.. Inside the kitchen looked so dirty.. My camping gear was more clean after trekking.. I ordered eggs sausage bacon and baguette woth black tea.. It wasnt black tea.. The eggs still had raw egg white that i had to send back and i found a short hair on my plate.. Not worth the 750 ruppees.. Since i hadnt eaten in 22 hours i was hungry but i dont reccomend it and i wont be going back.

Delicious and fresh food in Kathmandu! Pancakes, sandwiches, eggs, delicious breakfast, hearty dishes like fried rice and so much more. Everyone can find something they like here! And the service is impeccable. This was our regular food spot in Thamel !

LOVE this place! I have a Gluten intolerance and coming across this place literally made my trip. Unique flavours, big portions and great prices. Staff are great and atmosphere too, savoury and sweet crepes and salads. The iced lemon mint is amazing too! Just come here, you'll not regret it!

Make sure you stop by that hidden restaurant if you pass through Thamel (which you sure will if you're in Kathmandu !), because everything is worth it. You will be warmly welcomed by the owner, and they will serve you real french crêpes. If as me you're a french missing the tastes of France, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. The Nepali food is also very tasty, and not too spicy. Try it for yourself !

Nice little chill place. Crepes are really good, and healthy too(?).. buckwheat crepes. Tastes better than it sounds. The savory ones are better than the sweet ones.

A little cocoon on the side of busy, noisy thamel main streets. I love this place, as much for the Gluten Free food which is delicious than for the atmosphere and the people running it with love. I have been taking the gluten free buckweat wraps which are very copious and freshly made. When I asked for more tomatoes, potatoes or dressing Akriti gently gave it to me so know that you can ask, and do not hesitate ! Know that traditional nepali dishes are also on the menu in case your friends want traditional when looking for a place to eat as a group ! ✨

Absolut delicious galette for reasonable price, good service, very good hospitality from the staff. Such a good time. Make sure to try this address during your stay in Kathmandu for real taste of France 🇫🇷 Warmly recommend being eating there at least once a week during my stay in Kathmandu.

I had a crepe for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. I wish I was staying in Kathmandu longer so I could go back. One quick note: the restaurant is down a couple of alleyways. The location on Google Maps is the entrance to the alleyways, and there are signs pointing you to the restaurant.
