Beautiful lake.. but it's like ignored, there's no infrastructure build to attract tourist. It's like a forgotten lake even though it's very close to Pokhara city. Government and locals should involve to build tourist attractions there.

Rupa lake is recently not better to visit since road construction is going on so there is sand and dust in large amount. Rupa lake is large and it would be better center of attraction for tourists in near future after road construction. The grenary and forest gives pleasant to eyes and mind both. Rupa lake is little far from city side so its better to visit if you want little calmness away from crowd. But for now you need to wait for completion of road construction.

Lake was located about 20 kilometers southeast via Prithivi Highway on the way toward Kathmandu. A beautifully elongated lake with a lot of floras & faunas. Lot of birds were seen around. Cage & pen fish farming was seen. Few wooden boats were at the edge of lake to be hired for a ride. Beautiful view of both Rupa & Begnas lake was seen from the view tower above the hill top.

Personally, I didnt like the lake but I guess it is nice sometime to visit it when the water isnt turbid. It is one of the larger lakes of Pokhara city which is separated by a hill slope from the Begnas lake and is surrounded by very inactive Zoological park.

Hope to see this place flourish in tourism....... Too much swamp vibe rather than a lake

Rupa Lake is a thrilling hidden gem that awakens the adventurer within. As I arrived at the tranquil shores, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The untouched beauty of the surrounding hills and the mirror-like reflection of the lake created a mesmerizing sight. The calm waters beckoned me to embark on a thrilling kayaking adventure. Paddling through the serene lake, I felt a rush of excitement as I explored hidden coves and encountered diverse wildlife. The peaceful ambiance and the untouched charm of Rupa Lake make it a thrilling destination for nature lovers seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.

A heaven for wetland birds and a conservation area for white lotus, Rupa lake is located in Kaski district of Nepal, with a less disturbed natural experience of the lake and its beauty. Rupa Lake is a blessing from Mother Nature and has been there since the rise of humanity. As this lake resides further away from the landmass of Pokhara, it does not get the appeal that it deserves. In recent times, due to the crash in the Tourism Industry, Rupa Lake is gaining quite a bit of attention and praise. It is less congested than Phewa Lake, and you can enjoy the tranquility and chirping of birds. .
